I absolutely loooove my car!

I absolutely loooove my car!!! After driving a sedan for many years, it’s niiice sitting higher.🤩 I purchased my car using the Driveway app. Destinee from Driveway was sooo incredibly helpful guiding me every step of the way!! I wasn’t sure where my car was located within their approved dealership and was thankful that it was a local dealership. Once the details for the sale were finalized, I was notified that it was at the Lexus dealership in Sacramento. Thankfully, it was close to me so I didn’t have to pay the shipping fee. At the dealership, I was greeted by one of the salesman named, Robert. He escorted me to the car and I checked everything out. I was impressed with fact that the car was thoroughly serviced. This gave me peace of mind that I was driving off with a fine-tuned car! I had to drive over 70 miles back home! As much as the entire process went smoothly, there are some things that are disappointing: 1) I thoroughly reviewed the information the dealership provided on the specs of the car; exterior and interior. I specifically needed to know that it had the cargo cover being that I live in the City and wanted to make sure items in my cargo area was hidden. The specs stated that it was included. Yet when Robert opened the back area, I noticed that the cargo cover wasn’t there. I asked about it and was told it didnt come with the car. I shared that I read the spec information and it stated a cargo cover. He asked if I saw the cover in the pictures and I told him that I did not, but read that it was included. At the parts department, I inquired about the cost of one and it was over $1,000! After paying a deposit and downpayment, that’s the last thing I wanted to pay for. Robert was helpful in locating the part number, however, now this is something I need to find. 2)After driving off the lot, I went to a store and when I turned off the car, it said… low key battery. I am puzzled because Robert didn’t mention that being he had the key fob and started the car and tuned it off. 3)The door handle on the driver’s side door is loose. This also wasn’t mentioned. When I viewed the car, I entered on the passenger’s side so I had no idea about the fob nor handle. Now, I need to make an appointment with the Serramonte Lexus for the door handle and key fob. Yes, this is a 10-year old car as I was reminded, however, Lexus is all about luxury regardless of the year. All in all, it was great experience! I would highly recommend both Lexus of Sacramento and using the Driveway app!
