I went in this morning to look at a 2023 Volkswagen

I went in this morning to look at a 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan SE. The sales associate who I spoke with was friendly (especially to my two children), polite, knowledgeable, and honest. When it came time to run numbers however, his supervisors came back with a frankly insulting trade in offer for my car, even after being informed that I already had trade in offers from other dealerships. The offer they have me was $2000 under the KBB trade in value for my car (for fair condition). On top of that, their dealership fees are almost $3000. That's twice what most of the dealership fees in the Tampa Bay area are. I explained that I wasn't willing to take less than the KBB value for my car, and made them reminded them that I would be paying for the vehicle in cash. The sales associate asked what my "commitment offer" was on the car, meaning how much was I willing to pay for the car including all tax and tags and fees, and commit to buying the car that day. This is not my first or second or even third time buying a car. I have negotiated with multiple dealerships that have been willing to either offer more for the trade, reduce their own fees, or offer a discount on the list price of the car. It's not uncommon at all, especially for a cash offer. I was also prepared for them to come back and simply say "I'm sorry we can't take that offer." Instead, the supervisor came out and proceeded to ask me where I was coming up with the number I had given (basically insinuating that I couldn't do basic math). Including the increased trade in offer that I asked for, there was still about a $2000 different between the final sale price they had listed and my offer. I absolutely understand that taking that money off the list price or out of the fees cuts into their profit. But the Tiguan is a very common vehicle, with several other comparable vehicles available for sale in the area. And again, their dealer fees alone(which are already upcharged at any dealership) were twice that of most others in the area. They could have simply said no thank you. Instead, this supervisor treated me like I was dumb, repeatedly asking me how I was getting that number. When I had finally had enough and told him I was done and was no longer interested, he acted like he didn't understand. The sales associate was still perfectly friendly and helped me carry my daughters carseat to my car. As we were getting ready to to leave, he pulled me aside and said that his general manager had heard the whole conversation, and he was willing to sell the car for $500 less than the offer I gave. But at that point I felt so insulted and disrespected, I said I'm sorry but I'm just not interested. I will never consider buying from this dealership and I urge you to make sure you know the value of your car before you take it to them so you don't accept an unfairly low offer.

Sales staff never made us feel like a priority, only a burden on their time, and did not communicate updates on our car for days. Told them to eat the reconditioning fee of $3k, I expect to drive home a clean car and that's the cost of doing business as a car dealership. Wish I'd followed my gut and left before buying a car.

I wish we had never bought a car at this place.

I wish we had never bought a car at this place. And I wish I had read the reviews about Manny the sales Manager before We bought. He is what gives car sales a bad reputation. Manipulating the prices in a back room. I personally did not get any return calls when I called. They did not give us all the paperwork on the financing. Quoted us one price and financed a higher amount when we refused to put any more money down since they pocketed our previous deposit. Just down right lieing and manipulative sales tactics. I would not ever send anyone to that place to buy a car.

It's a zero star.

It's a zero star. Disappointing Experience: Misleading Prices, Financing Pressure, Poor Transparency I recently had a very frustrating experience at Westshore Mazda that I feel compelled to share. My wife and I were excited to purchase a vehicle, and we made it clear from the beginning that we had a pre-approved loan from our bank. Despite this, the dealership tried to trick us toward their financing options, which raised immediate red flags. It felt like a blatant attempt to deceive us into financing through them, even after we had explicitly stated our intentions. The vehicle was listed at $22,594. When we were presented with the invoice, I was shocked to see a total of $32,608.13—a staggering difference from the advertised price. While I understand there are additional costs like taxes, tags, and filing fees, the dealership was adding hidden fees that were not disclosed upfront. Throughout the process, the manager was dismissive of our concerns and continued to pressure us into accepting their terms. This experience has left us feeling frustrated and distrustful of Westshore Mazda. I strongly advise potential buyers to proceed with caution. There are plenty of dealerships that value transparency and honesty—sadly, Westshore Mazda is not one of them. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere!

I recently had a highly disappointing experience at

I recently had a highly disappointing experience at Westshore Mazda. We clearly communicated from the start that we had a pre-approved loan from our bank. Despite this, the dealership tried to steer us toward their financing options, which immediately raised our suspicions. In fact I took a photo of the invoice with the name of the salesperson, the manager & the financing options that they were cunningly trying to push. It was a blatant attempt to deceive us into using their financing, even after we made our intentions clear, While I understand there are additional costs such as taxes and fees, we were shocked to discover hidden charges that were not disclosed upfront. When we received the final invoice, it revealed an outrageous total that was $10,000 more than the listed price! This lack of transparency is not only incredibly frustrating but also unethical. Overall, our experience at Westshore Mazda left us feeling misled and disappointed. I strongly urge potential buyers to be cautious and consider other dealerships that value honesty and transparency. Save yourself the trouble—look elsewhere!

Horrible experience.

Horrible experience. When I bought the car six weeks ago, Westshore Mazda tried to bill me three thousand dollars above their Cars.com advertised price for service performed when they bought the car. They pushed me into a service program for a car they can't even service as I bought a pre-owned BMW!!! I had it serviced today and the oil was due, coolant was the original coolant, tires need replaced, engine and cabin air filters needed replaced 6 weeks after I bought the car. WHAT SERVICE DID YOU PERFORM?? Here I sit - the State of Tennessee - as of this morning - has still not received any paperwork from the dealership so I still do not have tags. When I contacted the dealership they assured me it was sent but can't provide a FedEx or UPS tracking number. Tennessee has no paperwork from the dealership and also cross referenced my VIN, name and home address and can't find anything. This dealership is a mess!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

"Guarantee" their prices but when you send them a quote

You can't make this up ( LOL) I was told that no deal

You can't make this up ( LOL) I was told that no deal could be made for me, I bring in 3500 a month free and clear, and have a amazing payment history, was told that something had been worked out, come back in the Morning with my insurance, and you'll drive off the lot. Get there and there is a credit freeze on my credit, get it removed, again nothing can be done! Funny thing is my girlfriend just got of jail, has only been working a month, and the same Hyundai Sonata they were trying to get me into, she is driving home right now, same color, blahahah same VIN, She didn't even have a down payment, employees gather around and do videos, and a baby just glides through the store while Mom is working, no harm there, but the rest...Wow
