Buyers Beware!!

Purchased a vehicle in Feb 2021. I paid 99.9% of the total cost of the vehicle upon purchase (only $324 remaining on the balance). It is now October 2021 and we have yet to receive the permanent license plates. My numerous phone calls/messages have gone unanswered and unreturned. After a few hours and multiple phone calls to DMV and Tax offices, I found out today that the title/registration paperwork was never filed by the dealer. There were also MULTIPLE issues with both the integrity of the company as well as with the vehicle that came to light all within an hour of purchase. (1) The car had zero gas. (2) The fluids in the car were very low/empty Absolutely zero window washing fluid. (3) The car wasn’t washed on the outside/inside. Very dusty on parts of the inside. The Parking Break was so filthy, dirty, and grimy that it was difficult to pull it up and engage it. It’s probably NEVER been cleaned. The car is saturated in armor oil on the inside in some places (steering wheel, gauges, top of the driver door, and the radio.) and left dusty and grimy in other places. (4) The Pioneer Radio stopped working halfway to our home ... only come to find out whoever installed the stereo did so without knowledge of what they were doing. The backup camera is wired backward, meaning if the setting for ‘backup camera’ is set to on, the Pioneer unit goes into display mode (blocking all access to the unit and blackening the screen) unless the car is in reverse. Then the display is available again. If installed properly, the unit would only be disabled during reverse to allow the backup camera to engage. The pioneer radio unit is not wired to the steering wheel functionality buttons to allow for Hands-Free/Bluetooth control. Those buttons simply don’t work. Due to the wiring issues the Bluetooth, pioneer setup settings, reset feature and a hand full of other settings do not work. No way to add connect to Bluetooth or remove paired devices. (5) One of the 12v plugs doesn’t work. (6) The floor mats, side mirror wire caps, and car manual are missing and there’s a huge hole in the driver's side floor carpet. (7) The car smells like smoke with little burn marks on the seat and the interior roof of the car. Which I noticed on the way home as the amor oil smell began to wear off. (8) There’s a HUGE dent on the rear spoiler. And mismatched ‘paint fixes’ all over the car. (9) The trunk mat is missing and was replaced with a Sonata mat to hide a DEFLATED, rimless spare tire. (10) The Low Tire sensor is on. Two tires are at Least 15 psi lower than they should be. This, alone, is a huge liability for Auto Selection Inc, allowing me to drive off the lot without accurate tire pressure. (11) There is an OBVIOUS issue with the rev/rpm surge. We noticed that the engine will suddenly rev up above 2000 rpm while driving on the highway and stay that way. Upon arrival, the car looked as if it hadn't been touched since intake. I ended up taking the vehicle to a licensed Hyundai Mechanic the day after purchase. I had to pay almost $3000 out of pocket to fix the idle issue and all the intermittent problems the car had that were not disclosed. I asked if there were any interior/exterior issues and/or defects that I should know about before purchasing/picking up the vehicle. I was told, “the car is in great condition with low miles”. The car was presented online as ‘Certified Preowned One Owner’. In order to be listed legally listed as “Certified,” there would have been a licensed person who inspected the vehicle and wrote up a CPO inspection report. I inquired multiple times how I would get access to this information because it was not included in the paperwork only to have my requests ignored. I refuse to pay the remaining balance of $324. In fact, I am owed ~ $2500 for my out-of-pocket expense. I asked multiple times for Auto Selection INC. to produce, provide and assure all maintenance records and issues on the vehicle were revealed and/or fixed to no avail.

TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!! ITS ALL A SCAM!!!

Honestly dont understand how this company has almost a 5 star rating. It has got to be from people they know to make up fake reviews just to lure unsuspecting customers!!! Bought a 2014 buick from them over 5 months ago and since then I have had fix numerous problems time and time again!!!! New battery, New catalytic converter, New engine, New purge solenoid valve, New tires etc, and more problems still ongoing!!! I just brought and had installed a new frontal grill after that fell off while driving to work!!!! Anna and Mike are the worst conniving people to ever come across!!! While doing the transaction purchasing the car I asked her point blank if this car has been in a accident, Anna straight up told me no and proceeded to show me a carfax report which turned out to be a false report with the wrong vin number!!! Anna fat shamed me when I have her my money and Drivers license!!! I never felt so horrible!!! Both have attitude problems that comes off as condescending!!! I'm currently in the process of looking for a lawyer so I can sue!!!

My name is Richie I recently visited the location off Southwest freeway upon arrival I met the owner and a saleswoman named Anna is very very very friendly very delightful and honest but for the most part it was a fast transaction I knew what I wanted a few issues with the vehicle concern me and my daily balance and allowance for withdrawals hindered the sale to be completed Anna stepped up talk to the owner and gave me three options which were amazing since they don't do in-house financing and allowed me to drive the vehicle away with only paying a percentage of your vehicle as a promissory note to go and fulfill my obligation it was amazing because I was in need of the vehicle and Anna made it happen with a smile from ear-to-ear yeah I Stern salesman she is but overall experience was an 11 on a scale from 1 to 10 because I was in and out in 2 hours and I only had a third of the available balance to pay on the vehicle and they still went through the process to allow me to have my customer is always right privilege. Thank you Anna and thank you for the cookies LOL I will be happy to share my experience and refer people to your company again thanks Anna you rock....!!!! Oh I almost forgot and a great personality with a little bit of silliness mixed in made it all the more like it was meant to be great vehicle great price great group of people again thanks to all they helped me that day and keep up the good work Anna !!!!!!

DUPPED

Drove this car 128 miles and the engine went out. Car was not inspected before we drove it off the lot as legally it should be. Back tail light was out and front headlights only worked on bright. Tire pressure censor also not working. Drove it 60 miles and put it in the shop for the the tail light and censor. Grandson drove it another 68 miles and engine went out. Would not buy a car from this facility. Not sure how they have 5 stars.

Dear Jennifer, You purchased a 2009 Mazda 6 with 201485 miles for only $3900 and we told you the vehicle was taken as a trade-in and the vehicle was running well when you purchased it. We were not aware for any issues on the vehicle and the previous owner did not mention any issues on the vehicle either. We did fix the brakes and a few other things as requested by you and your husband at our OWN cost where we spent more than $1000. We also offered you our help to buy the vehicle from you again for which you did not agree. The car has been great! It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. It feels good to know that they tell you the truth about the car and later you can prove it. So happy for finding this place!
