A lot of people i know recommended Serpentini, so I
A lot of people i know recommended Serpentini, so I picked out a few cars online, was very excited to go & have a 'great' experience, so my son and i, went there today!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I wouldn't send or recommend this place to anyone. Walked into the place, was not greeted by a single person, walked up to the desk where my son was greeted, we told the lady i was there for a car, my son asked to use the restroom & left, and I just stood there... I watched her ask several sales people to assist me and a little Hispanic sales guy just walked away from her, another female sales person ran to a guy that just walked in the front door.. there had to be 10 sales reps at that desk!! No one acknowledged her request. Finally she asked a gentleman that was sitting at a table to help me... and he seemed really nice! (SEEMED really nice.) I sit with him & tell him why im there, need a reliable car, cheap, tell him my first choice... he immediately tries to get me to lease a car. I dont want a payment & end up w/no car, I want to BUY a car... He gets on his laptop, looks at the used inventory online, and he's smirking, laughing at the cars and their prices... gets up to see if my 1st car is available to see, comes back says nope, its getting 'painted.' Then tells me the car cost isn't really $7900.00, its the $10,000 listed price. I verify what he's saying, even though the car is listed on SEVERAL online sites at the 7900. price. Yep, he says if I finance with them or MY OWN BANK, I will pay the 10k price. So, I move onto my 2nd choice, its not available either!! ('Being worked on.') Hes basically being a jerk at this point. Obviously does not want to sell me a car, at least the one I came in for! Im stunned!! I stand up and tell him, I came here to buy a car, to give you my money for a car, he TELLS me to listen and 'educate myself,' to car buying, I guess... im 60 years old and have bought cars before, please! I tell him im done and we left. Although i cant verify, Im sure he went right back to his online shopping or game playing... as he could care less about me. Which is OK. Lost a customer for sure.

This business has had our car for over 2 weeks.
This business has had our car for over 2 weeks. They have yet to do anything but drain the transmission fluid and confirm what we already knew was wrong with the vehicle. Their service department is entirely inept, particularly Johnny Wallace, who is full of empty promises. He never returns phone calls, never finishes what he says he’s going to do, never gives an update on our car, even after continually assuring us we will be taken care of. His direct line goes to voicemail, but he answers when you call the dealership and ask for the service department. Not sure how he keeps his job when he never does anything. We were promised a loaner car MULTIPLE times, and have yet to receive one. The sales department are also liars, we were sold this car with the promise it had just had a brand new transmission installed. 6,000 miles later, our transmission is shot again and the service department is telling us they believe we were given a USED transmission. Just an absolute disgrace of a business, nobody there can ever give you a straight answer on anything.

The salesman was very nice but some guy from behind the desk kept butting into our conversation, I finally agreed to a deal with the salesman and while he was taking it to finance the other guy came back over while I was on the phone with my wife trying to interrupt, he was rude to my wife so I walked out, the next day they had run my credit 3 more times and when I called to tell them to stop they just kept transferring me to a voicemail, I left several messages and still have not heard back from them

This dealership sucks.
This dealership sucks. Their service department is incompetent beyond belief and their sales staff is a bunch of liars. Do not buy from this dealership. Do not have your car serviced by this dealership.

*Serpentini Chevrolet of Willoughby Hills update: We
*Serpentini Chevrolet of Willoughby Hills update: We received the Jeep back yesterday (from last Thursday to Tuesday), and everything seems to be working well so far. Kyle from the service department and Ron, the sales manager, were very helpful. However, the store manager, whose name I can't recall, displayed an unfriendly attitude during our initial face-to-face meeting has now falsely accused me of using profanity towards her and Kyle, claiming that "I called up there and cussed them out." This incident never occurred; I had only one in-person conversation with her, during which she was quite unpleasant. I recognize that as a woman in a field dominated by men, she may feel the need to assert her authority. However, fabricating stories about a customer will not earn her the respect she desires. It is possible to be both assertive and empathetic in her position. Her harsh demeanor may have led her to confuse me with someone else who, according to her, “cussed her out” during a call. Alternatively, she might have felt frustrated because I contacted the BBB and shared my experiences online; thus, by making up such a falsified story, she's possibly attempting to undermine my credibility. Nonetheless, using such language is not a constructive way to resolve the issues we were facing, and it's not how I choose to conduct myself. In conclusion, the vehicle appears to be functioning well for the time being.

It was fine.
It was fine. Don't bother reaching out in advance, calling ahead, or making an appointment—they don't do anything with that information until you walk in the door. When I arrived to look at a car I had just called about, they explained that someone else was already purchasing it. The seller took us out in a car that had obviously been in an undisclosed accident because the bumper wasn't fully attached. Also, the transmission was skipping hard enough that the passengers noticed, too. When we eventually found a car, the negotiation process was fine, though the initial paperwork had a $700 pricing error on it. When I returned to pick up the car, my appointment was again useless as I waited 30 minutes to get 3 minutes with the seller to get the keys. The sales person was friendly, and helpful, but the entire process as a whole was not great. I don't know why it has to be this way.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE.
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE. They sell lemons & do not care! Bought a vehicle that lasted ONE YEAR & a few months & the engine completey failed, took it into the dealership to see what could be done & if the warranty would cover repairs. What should have been a few weeks worth of work to get the warranty inspector out took FOUR MONTHS. I was told they needed to tear the engine down for the inspector to look at so they could "decide" if they were going to do anything about it, mind you Serpentini offered NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT in this time that they sold me a TOTAL LEMON vehicle & proceeded to let the car sit there for weeks at a time with no update while I thought they were working on it. Meanwhile it was just sitting there because they didn't want to do any work on it. The service rep rarely ever answered his line and would take weeks to respond to voice messages & no one else in the service department even knew what was going on with the vehicle. All they needed to do was tear down the engine & get a warranty rep out, this took months. The few times I'd get the service rep on the phone he'd tell me they still need to do the tear down & I'd be shocked because I thought they were working on it but actually doing NOTHING, when he would actually commit to them working on it it would get done within a few days & from what I can gather I think they worked on the car maybe 4 or 5 days. In FOUR MONTHS. otherwise it was sitting and no one was updating me and eventually when they did get an inspector out after a second time they denied my claim because they said I didn't get enough oil changes. WHAT. We changed the oil twice at home in 6 months and I went to valvoline every 3 or 4 months after that and gave them receipts. I was told a timing chain broke, their were bits of metal in the engine, sludge was accumulating from different fluids mixing from a leak somewhere choking out the engine which a different mechanic told me was a defect he'd seen before with this model so clearly their were ALOT of problems with the engine when they sold it to me but ok, oil changes yeah. After all this, again 4 MONTHS later, also running up a tab on the tear downs, charging ME to have the inspector come out?! Taking zero responsibility for the cars condition or how they left me without a vehicle I'd been making payments on for months their solution was, we could put a salvage engine in it for 10,000 dollars. We're talking on top of what I paid for the vehicle, on top of the horrendous service charges which when combined with what I'd already paid for the car would well total OVER THE PRICE OF A NEW CAR THAT ACTUALLY FUNCTIONS. And this would be to fix a car I had for about 14 months TOTAL. Absolute clowns. They got their money, took ZERO responsibility, showed how little they cared by letting it sit instead of trying to remedy the situation, barely updated me the entire process, never offered any other options, help, anything while I was left without the vehicle I was paying them for. I'd get a lawyer but it's not worth the hassle. Ultimately decided it was more worth it to pay off the remainder of the car just to JUNK IT instead of giving them more money to try and fix it, which god forbid if they did & it broke again, they wouldn't do anything. Hands down the WORST experience I've ever had with a business. ZERO INTEGRITY. They should be shut down honestly. I would BUY A CAR LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE it is not worth the risk with these people. What a complete and utter xxxx show, they should be embarrassed but you'd have to care on any level to feel humiliation. SCAMMERS. SWINDLERS, BUYER AVOID, BEWARE.

I was advised of some discounts and incentives for new & used cars. Once there, I was lied to. Was trying to sell me a car for more than what was advertised. I am neither dumb or desperate. I will be going elsewhere and would not recommend buying a car from here. Very shady sales practices.
