It's a Yo Yo scam

Do NOT purchase a car from buckeye lake motors LLC . ITS A YOYO SCAM. I guarantee you I will be suing the both of you. Buckeye Lake Motors LLC Madison Scarborough I purchased a car in February of 2022. I was told via text I was already financed before coming in. As I filled out the online finance portion then finished via text to maddie. Came in and bought a 2013 Ford fusion se with 142,000 miles however upon getting into the car the odometer was at 151,250. Regardless I still purchased the car, and an extended 35,000 mile warranty. Fast forward a month I go to make my first car payment and was told by "maddie" I wasn't financed and she was trying to get in touch with me, which was a complete lie. I asked her how do I go about making my car payment she said I couldn't until financed. She said I wasnt fianced a month later because I changed jobs.. i got a higher paying job that paid weekly compaired to the job i was paid much less and bi weekly. Make that make sense. Mmmkay weird but okay. I had been calling and texting her daily asking about updates regarding the financing. She would say she would call me back via text but never would. Fast forward and my 45 day tags are now expired I go to the BMV to get tags and they said I needed the title, so I texted maddie that I needed my title she responded by saying oh no you won't be getting the title until we get you financed.I said I was riding dirty because my tags are expired. She never responded. Fast forward a few more months with me asking her constantly for an update, all she said was I wouldn't be repoed because they're trying to get me financed. At this point I'm pissed and tell her BY LAW the dealership has to accept my car payment if they can't get me financed within 45 days otherwise I want to cancel the sale and get my money back. She left me on read..I was required to maintain full coverage which costme over 230.00 a month m Per our finance agreement.. but was never financed Fast forward to Saturday, I get a knock on my wndow from a repo company trying to repo my vehicle because I owe 10,000 in cash! I was like nahhh, I've been trying to make payments for 8 MONTHS and I have her in text over 20 times refusing payment. They finally get her on the phone and she informs me that she doesn't care because she no longer works there. And she's only making 6,000 on this deal.. The repo people said that her husband the OWNER fired her because she did this to over 20 other people. So I'm like what do I do? They said make the car payment and come in Monday to get refinanced.. so I pay 375 Saturday because they said if I didnt they would report the car stolen...and go in this morning to either get refinanced or transfer the car into my finances name. And brought in all the appropriate documentation. I parked the car off road because something didn't seem right. When I walked in I seen Mattie and told the receptionist that she was the one that refused payment which she responded oh I know she's only here to clean up her mess. Until she leaves next week. Mattie then leaves with their repo team over and over. Fast forward 4 hours and I went out to my car and BOOM its gone, I come back in and the receptionist patty? Is like yeah we can't finance you and we took your car... mind you this place is 2 hours away from me. Of course I tell them that's illegal and I need my money back or the car as I made a payment on Saturday. She refuses to let me speak with the manager. She's telling him via text what I'm saying. And he's like oh xxxxing well. Yet it's in text for almost 9 xxxxing months of her refusing payment even though I told her I had spoken with a lawyer and this is illegal. It's a yo yo This is a yo yo scam and has been documented this entire time. You can not legally take my car as we have a contract that you have to abide by. UPDATE. IVE BEEN BLOCKED ON EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLET. MORE THAN 6 OTHER PEOPLE HAVE COME FORWARD IN ONE WEEK WITH THE SAME PROBLEMS.

Scammers!!!!!

Traded vehicle in 2/2022. They took my car, sent me with a car we “bought” 9/2022 still never would respond to texts or calls. No payment info. No financial info and they came and took the car during the day while at work. Thankfully we parked it and bought a car somewhere else

inquired about the vehicle and was told there were no known issues with the car. There was a mileage inconsistency on the carfax due to their employee inputting the information wrong. I drove past the lot initially because it looked more akin to a junkyard or mechanics. When I got in the car, I immediately noticed how filthy the car was. I don't expect a used car to be spotless, but this was filthy. The mats had a layer of mud on them. The interior door and handle were black with grime. There was literal bird poop on the passenger side INTERIOR door. The display screen was spottily covered. I noticed the check engine light was on. They insisted they didn't know that. Ran the code, but didn't know what it meant. Called a mechanic who told me it meant the was an issue with the O2 system. I popped the hood. The latch didn't work right. When I did get it open, the drivers side of the hood was completely snapped off. At this point, I told them I'd want a mechanic to look at it. They suggested I take it to a specific mechanic. I went to another mechanic. On my less than 2 mile drive over I noticed the airbag light was also on. The mechanics first question was "you didn't drive THIS car from Michigan, right?" then he told me the car need about $5000 to get it back into shape. The air bag light meant an airbag wasn't functioning properly and could deploy at any time or simply not deploy if needed and made the car unsafe to drive in the current state. A part of the fender interior was missing and the wheel well covers. The car needed new brakes, tires, and rotors in part due to the two frozen pistons (?) causing uneven wear that would continue until overhauled. A swing arm was also going out. Mind you, they had been driving this car as a transport vehicle, which was not disclosed to me until I was there. I returned to the dealership very upset that I had been mislead on this car. I told them what the mechanic had said. They asked which mechanic I went to. When I told them I went to a different mechanic, they seemed perplexed and upset. They stated of course a mechanic will tell you things are wrong. The mechanic showed me the issues. The owner began to tell me how these things are not a big issue. I told her that some of the issues were safety issues, like the air bag. She argued that the car was fine. I told her respectfully, we are gonna have to agree to disagree. She conti ued to try to argue and I asked her if she would refund my deposit due to the car not being in drivable condition. She tried to continue to argue, but I cut her off and told her it was honestly up to her and whether or not she had integrity with her business. The owner agreed to give me a refund on the amount of the deposit. However, she never gave me a refund either. I guess she really need the $100 and has no integrity. Best part, they are still messaging me about buying a car even though I have made it clear I do not want one. Tldr: they scammed me out of money and offered me an undrivable car. DO NOT VISIT

Great

I went to several other dealers looking for a Toyota car with a small 4,000 budget. It seemed that a lot of these cars at the smaller lots where misrepresented with pictures avoiding damage or misleading me in one way or another. I did not get this at all from this dealership. All of their vehicles seemed to be quality and if there were issues they told me before looking at the vehicle. I felt like I was making a purchasing decision and they helped me rather than pushing me into a car. Madison was a huge help her and her husband own the store and are very friendly people. I highly recommend them and will be back for my next car. I paid cash and was in and out in what felt like no time at all.
