Not upfront at all.

Not upfront at all. Lots of the vehicles have been in wrecks, salvage titles etc and you won't know it unless you request the carfax report.

BEWARE of Nexgen Tactics

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY before purchasing at Nexgen Motors** (as of Nov 2023) Character is revealed, not when things go well, but when something goes wrong, would you agree? This is when you discover who people really are. It's easy to be courteous, friendly, attentive, and honest, when things are easy. You may find a car there that you really like, find the price fair, and take it home and have a great experience. The staff is friendly, the office is clean, they promptly get you through finance and paperwork. The following days or weeks may go without any issue, and that would deserve a 5-star review. I would have been happy to give them that review. But if there are any issues, you will learn who Nexgen really is. They will ignore you, they will make promise after promise and never keep any of them, they will lie to your face, treat you like you are stupid, and they will dismiss any concern you have by interrupting you and not addressing them. I purchased a vehicle from them a few weeks ago. The salesman was friendly, they were laid back, clean office, good vibe. Although an early red flag came in the finance department (I was lied to), I shrugged it off as typical 'car business' pains and moved on with my purchase. Upon arriving home that day (5 miles away), I parked the vehicle and went inside. A few hours later I noticed a massive pool of oil underneath the car. Nexgen was closed until Monday, and on Monday I immediately messaged my salesperson with a picture and concerns. Over the next 3 weeks Nexgen showed who they really are. I was ghosted. I texted, called, left messages. I was told 'someone would call me, no one ever did. I took the truck to Cleggs Auto in Provo (highly recommend), spent $500 on various repairs and was told that the oil cooler line was busted, another $800 repair. They found other issues with brakes, tail light. The check engine light came on, the airbag warning light on. Roughly $2,000 more in repairs needed. During this time Nexgen made zero attempt to even discuss this with me, so in frustration I visited the dealer in person. They argued with me. Not even an apology for inconvenience, just defiant attitude. By the way, when you purchase your car there, they will show you a 'third party' mechanic report, where they claim that the car was thoroughly checked for things (like major oil leaks). According to Cleggs, there is no way they even cared to look at anything, the issues were so obvious to any inspection. So when I asked the sales manager for a copy of this report so I could review it, he said "oh we delete those". Yeah, right. Ok, so I asked well who is the third party mechanic/shop who inspect your cars? The sales manager simply said "I don't know". Yeah, right. In a moment of showing the smallest of efforts, the sales manager finally offered to let me leave the truck with them, a Nexgen mechanic would look at the truck, and 'we could figure something out'. For nearly two weeks my car sat there. I called and left messages. None returned. I asked for updates, there were none. In the end, they offered me a discount to repair the oil leak ($700 vs $800). But I asked about the airbag and check engine light and the sales manager told me "oh I didn't know about that". Yeah, right. I simply gave up. I went back and picked up my vehicle after 3 weeks of nothing from them. 15+ phone calls. 7 messages, NONE returned. Was told on SIX different occasions "I will call you right back, in 20 min! Promise!", and every.single.time. they never called back. There is no integrity, no character, no leadership, and certainly no care about you at Nexgen Motors. I hope you have a good experience there, but just be warned, if there are any issues, you will face the same treatment.

Not my favorite buying experience

Lack of follow through. For how much oversight that they preach of going over the car, how did you miss no car jack in the car. When we brought this to their attention at the dealership they said that was a safety issue and they’d get one sent to us right away… 6 months later we still don’t have follow through of a car jack. We brought up the fact that the tires looked bad cracked and sun rot, but they didn’t give us any discount, but that wasn’t a safety issue. After we paid for the car, they took 45 min to bring it out to us… this was extremely annoying. They contacted us for days wanting a review but I was waiting for follow through in the carjack, so clearly I got my answer.

Inadequate

I found the vehicle that I had been looking for on a KSL so I can’t say that the dealership helped me find the right vehicle. I was told that the vehicle had a branded title but downplayed the extent of damages. I had rebuilt car in the past and never had a problem with it so assumed that I wouldn’t have any problems with this one. A friend looked at the new vehicle the next day and noticed that many parts were missing screws and fasteners. Nexgen said that they would make the necessary fixes. I told them about a rattle in the dashboard and they told me that it’s a used vehicle and that will happen. After get the vehicle back, I pulled out the glovebox and found that the Engine Control module was not screwed in place, so it was bouncing around while I drove. I had also told them that the mic on the Bluetooth didn’t work. They said that it worked when they checked it. I took the vehicle to a different dealership who found that components were not plugged in. I feel that the repair/rebuild was very poor. I don’t recommend this dealership! I will never go back

Love our Tacoma

nexgen was great to work with. Super easy process and a great car. We got a great deal on a Tacoma TRD Pro. They have a cool system that just sends everything to your phone or email and you can just sign up in a matter of minutes.

Great people and great cars

We contacted them about a minivan they had in stock. Our Sales man Cole was great he sent us all the info we wanted, sent us many photos, and even a video walk around. Natalie their finance lady was also amazing, she was able to get us financed through their lenders which gave us a better terms. Love our new Sienna!
