I recently purchased a car.

I recently purchased a car. After about a month, I noticed some grinding in my rear passenger tire. I gave my salesman Chris (Toyota west used cars) a call and told him what was going on. While it was a simple fix, one I probably could’ve done myself if I would’ve looked better, Chris had me bring it back in and the dealership looked at the car and took care of it. This is a major reason I have purchased several cars from this dealership, including when they used to be Hatfield. They are always taking care of their customer. Thank you to my Toyota West used car salesman Chris! He was absolutely fantastic. I also wanna thank the management team for approving my car to be fixed. You all are the best. I’m so happy with my new to me 2024 Toyota Camry hybrid.

They are very good at pre-sales, friendly and attentive

They are very good at pre-sales, friendly and attentive so you buy the car, then you’re dirt on their boot as soon as the ink is dry. During the test drive of a lightly used (6-yr old) car as soon as the car turned on, a big box message appeared on the drivers panel saying “service - tire monitor system”. The sales rep Cameron said he would check on that and let me know. So after buying the car I go back to the dealership late evening the next day to pick it up with a friend. As soon as I turn it on the same message is displayed. I texted Cameron and who said he did have a tech look at it after I asked about it and it needs a new tire pressure monitor on the front passenger side. I thought no big deal, it’s a very minor thing. Long story short they did nothing about it. Even the dealership manager (or director) said he would have their service dept fix it but never actually following up - the best they were willing do is discount the labor cost but i would still need to pay to fix it - for $175. This was a very simple cheap thing… they chose to risk their reputation, lose a future customer and bad online review… to make ~$100 more profit. Imagine if they sell you a car with (knowingly) something more expensive wrong with it and pull this same trick on you. Buyer beware that this is not a reputable Toyota dealership you can trust. Think of them more as a pop-up sleazy corner used car company. Definitely have a 3rd party inspect any used car you’re considering buying from them.

Yesterday I took my car to Toyota West. My daughter recommended a Mr. Christopher Frey. I was not disappointed. He serviced my car and it runs like a new one, not bad for a 2010 Toyota Camry.

I purchased a used vehicle from Toyota West (TW) that was

I purchased a used vehicle from Toyota West (TW) that was sold “As Is.” After a minor front-end fender bender, I took the car to a reputable Toyota collision center while out of town. During inspection, I learned that the vehicle had been in a previous, unrelated accident which was only partially disclosed at the time of purchase. Following the collision center’s advice, I contacted Aaron Crum, the General Manager at Toyota West. Mr. Crum initially spoke with me briefly and asked to be kept informed. However, his response was a polite formality than genuine concern. Once the vehicle was disassembled and the extent of the prior damage was confirmed, Mr. Crum became completely unresponsive, ignoring multiple calls and texts from both me and the Toyota collision center’s manager. Aaron Crum's lack of integrity and accountability is deeply disappointing. As an executive, consistently not answering calls is irresponsible as it exhibits a failure of critical leadership duties, including but not limited to accountability, clear communication, and organizational effectiveness. Selling vehicles with a questionable accident history and then refusing to assist when issues arise reflects a troubling “money over people” mindset. It’s unprofessional, unethical, and undermines trust in the Toyota brand. I will never purchase another vehicle from Toyota West, and I strongly urge anyone considering buying a used vehicle, especially one sold “As Is”, to have it independently inspected by a neutral body shop before completing the purchase. Toyota customers deserve honesty and transparency. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Toyota West. Kindly, Michael
