About our dealership

This seller has been on Cars.com since October 2019.
We are a Toyota dealership offering new and used Toyota cars trucks vans and SUVs and we serve the Oklahoma City Metro area. We also have a top-notch Service department and our Toyota tire center runs big time sales all the time. A common Google search is "Toyota Dealers." That search reveals that we are the nearest dealer to downtown Oklahoma City.
Post Oak Toyota opened its doors in 1957 and we're still family-owned. We believe being family-owned makes a difference to our customers. There's a level of trust and comfort you can't get anywhere else.

Horrible experience.

Horrible experience. They are liars and will not return your phone calls after you leave. The receptionist is the only person you will get on the phone who is nice. They are continuing to run my credit without my permission and are putting hard inquiries consistently. I have 13 hard inquires over 2 days. This place is ridiculous. Don’t go here!

Larry Lockett my salesman and Jamal the finance manager

Larry Lockett my salesman and Jamal the finance manager were phenomenal. All my question were answered and they helped me tremendously on the financing of the car I purchased. These two gentlemen were able to keep me from going to another dealership as I west to Post Oak first and I usually don’t stay with the first dealership I go. Thank you Larry and Jamal you rock! ( Actually the whole team rocks!)

Post Oak Toyota is a great place to buy a used or new

Post Oak Toyota is a great place to buy a used or new vehicle. No high pressure sales. My experience has always been good. Salesman STEVE is great to work with and listens to what you want he didn’t try to pressure us into a vehicle we did not want. Thanks STEVE. Not: I would not give the service department the same rating though.

Purchased a brand new Tundra and the Infotainment system

Purchased a brand new Tundra and the Infotainment system is possessed. Nothing works, it just freezes. I am an hour and a half from the closest dealership and they informed me I need to drive the truck there to have it "diagnosed" (Toyota Brand Engagement has already confirmed that it needs to be replaced). Then they will order a new system. So 6 hours of driving back and forth to get a brand new vehicle functioning properly.

Reno did a good job at finding the car that fit our needs

Reno did a good job at finding the car that fit our needs was a little more expensive but I was glad he kept looking. They made sure we were happy. I would use them again and if you need a ride this is the place to go to.

I had to replace my RAV4 after 12 years and dreaded the thought of car shopping. I decided to start at Post Oak since they had done excellent work on my RAV4 in the past. Tyler Rowe was so personable in his approach my guard just dropped and we just talked. He heard what I was saying and had a car in mind for my actual needs but also had vehicle 2 and 3 lined up In his mind for me. While I looked at the exterior of the first vehicle he went to grab the keys for that test drive but also came back with the option I thought I wanted. Long story short I’m happy with his suggestion and the follow up and courtesy I experienced throughout the dealership. I want a relationship where I shop and I feel like this team agrees. Thank you Tyler and team.

They list prices on cars.

They list prices on cars.com that they have no intention of honoring. The price the salesman said after contacting him was over 20% higher than the price they listed on cars.com. Post Oak does dirty business.

Ben Celis is abusive.

Ben Celis is abusive. I worked under him in 2013 and he was fired after I quit because he threw my phone. I should’ve sued for cracking my screen. He’s a loose bottle.

I bought my first truck from Post Oak Toyota in 2021 and

I bought my first truck from Post Oak Toyota in 2021 and had a fantastic experience with Freddie and Angel. However, Freddie is no longer there, and the last time I asked for him, the girl on the phone made a tasteless comment, saying he was no longer with them, "thankfully." Despite this, I referred numerous customers to them. In 2022, I referred my best friend and coworker to buy a Corolla. We negotiated his deal over the phone, and he was set to sign and drive the car away. He Ubered to work that day, and I drove him to the dealership, only to find out they had sold his car to someone else. They even called him on the way there to confirm he was coming. They knew the car was sold and tried to pivot him to a different one that wasn't even available. This left my friend stranded without transportation. Sean, the GM at the time, who was also a customer at my motorcycle store, made it right by providing my friend with a courtesy car and better financing terms on a new Corolla. I updated my reviews then because we were satisfied. However, in December 2024, I reached out to Post Oak Toyota during a nationwide Toyota promotion, looking for a Tacoma. I expected a payment range of $400-450/month, as was standard across brokers. Angel, my original salesman, ghosted me after initially responding. I had to call again and eventually spoke to a sales manager who, without running my credit or asking about my preferences, quoted me an outrageous $900-950/month for a lease, citing poor leasing conditions. This was done without any substantial information from me, even though I was ready to buy that day. It seems Sean has left, and customer service has plummeted. This dealership does not value repeat business. They appear to take advantage of their customers and treat them poorly. My best friend, who Sean helped, now faces issues with servicing his vehicle. Despite making appointments, he’s told there are no openings and that he’d need to drop it off—despite having an appointment. Post Oak Toyota spends money on billboards claiming they love OKC and offer the best prices, but their service says otherwise. This place just flat-out sucks.
