I’d like to start with I have never been so upset with a

I’d like to start with I have never been so upset with a service to the point I had to write a review online. This review is because of the frustration and disappointment this service center provided me. I contacted them because of the expectation of professionalism, trustworthiness, and commitment. Non of my expectations were met. In fact they exceeded how bad of service I thought you can actually receive. i was told my car would be done in a certain time which it wasn’t. Told a price over the phone, emailed a different price, and presented a completely different price. They added parts/services every time I called which increased my bill tremendously. This is where I lost all trustworthiness. Contacting the advisor was troublesome every time I tried and he would tell me he was just about to call me. To top everything off The advisor got aggressive on the phone instead of answering my valid questions. Again, I am not one to usually review but PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO HAVE YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED. I AM TELLING YOU AS SOMEONE THAT HAS EXPERIENCED IT FIRST HAND.

We purchased a used vehicle from this dealer and

We purchased a used vehicle from this dealer and understand it would not be perfect however when the tires are so bad that when you get to 70 mph that the entire vehicle shakes uncontrollably, the heat doesn't work, and the fuel filter light comes on, After contacting the dealer they say oh it passed inspection, I would like to get the inspectors name and company, and if I want the heat fixed I purchased the extended warranty. Never in my 48 years have I had an experience with a used car from a large dealer like I have this one.

Avoid if at all possible!

Avoid if at all possible!!!!!   As a veteran and VW enthusiast that has traveled the world with his Volkswagens and had them serviced state side and overseas, this is BY FAR the WORST service department I have ever dealt with. Below is a small chunk of my personal experiences over the last few years giving them 2nd, 3rd 4th chances etc. The list below is a few examples that were very RUDLEY handled by the service department. If the managers were a bit nicer maybe wouldn't be an issue, but that is not the case. Parts broken during recalls and left without a loaner or rental until repairs were made. Windshield film slashed (gave them a heads up prior to inspection, tech used a razor and sliced the film then had the audacity to say it was like that when I brought it in...) Last minute appointment cancelations (In the car driving to the appointment) Charged for inspections that were supposed to be free, then had to get a sales manager involved for the service department to believe me (lack of internal communication on promotions). Those are just a few recent issues. I am done with this service department!!!

What a joke

This place will lie to you and try to get you to replace stuff when not required. If you do fold like a lawn chair and go to this place, challenge every issue they say your car has. They are only ringing up your bill for unnecessary work. I guess I don’t blame the workers as much as the managers there. I am sure they are putting their folks on a quota to drum up business. Stay far away!

I cannot implore people enough to stay away from this

I cannot implore people enough to stay away from this dealership even if you have to go an hour away. Both the service department & sales people are untrustworthy & even when they give you something in writing will not honor it. They will hand you a preliminary agreement then call you & when you come to an agreeement they will all of a sudden change their minds wasting your time. The service department will constantly lie to your face about how long it will take to get your car back instead of just tellng you they don't know. I have never in my life left a bad review for anything even when they deserved it. They are low, slimy and untrustworthy even for an auto dealership. Lastly I just have to say this, the sales people just don't know what they are doing & are not even informed on the basics.

DO not take your vehicle here PERIOD.

DO not take your vehicle here PERIOD. I went in for service and had the vehicle returned missing the undershield, broken parts and told my insurance should be contacted when the vehicle has been damaged by the dealer. Dont expect VW to care because they gave the dealer opportunity to respond and nothing happened. I have pictures of my injectors filled with diesel fuel, AC condensor damaged and at this point with over $1,000 of damage and I have no choice but to report this dealer and file charges in court....I have come to this dealer over 10 years and even been an employee at one point for 16 years...I had no idea they operated like this. Sad that they no longer care and it is ok to do this to consumers. I will be sure to make sure this never happens again.

I have been to Volkswagen on this since the beginning and have the emails assuring me that a DM would be contacted to look at the workmanship. When I received no call after 2 weeks I was told a completely different. I was told workmanship is the dealer’s responsibility. No one has taken this serious and I was stalled for over a month by VW alone. If management looks at the vehicle compared to the repair orders, Emails and texts you will see exactly what I am dealing with. I also have videos. I am very detail oriented especially when things do not make send to someone trained to do this for over 25 years. I do not take things such as this without proof and trust it is harder to continue fighting for what I know is the truth because this has been quite the ordeal. However because this is a VW I do have experience and have maintained my vehicle to the highest level as it is my pride and joy and to finally get one owned by dealers only was a dream. I maintained it because I was appreciative of the blessing received and it was my job to brag about VW’s turbo and finally getting a diesel. I thought it would be appreciated by your service department since I’d had so many years with them. I’m not sure how I got this so wrong and I’ve never seen customer service at this point, not at this dealership. Bill Britt days are definitely over because integrity is lost. Facts are facts. This is my property and it is not your service department’s right to treat anyone’s vehicle like this. I’ll take rude service over damage my vehicle or broken parts and complete dismissal of facts or regard for me. Please feel free to email as I will not contact the dealer again. I have tried numerous occasions and mental capacity to continue to deal with unresolved issues and contact over and over…that lies with your dealership.

Outstanding service department!

Outstanding service department! Ms Pam Willis and her service techs always do a superb job on my vehicles. They listen to my concerns and they note items I need to be aware of while they perform preventive maintenance on my vehicles. They know that I rely on my vehicles - I've been a customer here for 22 years. I drive 90 miles one way to get to this location and pass by at least 4 other VW dealers as I drive the distance. Ms Pam Willis and her techs have earned my loyalty by earning my trust. I've purchased 3 VWs here over 22 years and I'll keep buying my VWs here.

I brought to them an odd problem where most of the lights

I brought to them an odd problem where most of the lights on only the right side had stopped working. They fixed it same day, though they were a bit delayed because they were busy. They were friendly abd courteous, though I felt tge repair was needlessly expensive. But that’s a Volkswagen design problem and not their fault.

It was a horrible experience.

It was a horrible experience. Dealer didn’t honor my extended guarantee. Forced to pay in total the serv. Didn’t provide rental. I exhausted my toll service with my AAA had to pay a taxi from my home to Fredericksburg (70 miles) a hundred dollars. No negotiation at all. Too expensive. My car is bran new has only 16,000 miles. It’s. 2017 not driven for the pandemic, and still not honored the guarantee. That Pam in service was nasty. Hoping not going back ever to that place. And to end that my car was dirty all full of grease from the hangers, never vacuumed they never removed the paper protectors from the previous dealer that tried to fixed the problem the problem was the keys didn’t work, MANASSAS dealers recommended to take it to the dealer I bought it so I didn’t have to pay anything. Well, like I said didn’t work. No guaranties. A lot of money for something simple, ended o. A sensor problem instead of programming the keys. I ending spending almost 3 thousand dollars in total. Do not buy any car or call them for services
