If I could leave no stars I would. I have not bought a car for myself for the last 12 years. I was interested in a dodge Durango at Velocity I did my research read the reviews and thought this would be the perfect place for me to get a car. I live 2 hours and 30 mins away from GA. I called that morning before I left home to tell them I was traveling to come look at the suv. Gustavo was nice he text me the address and I got there within 3 hours. The showroom is a beauty my first time ever seeing anything like that. I test drove the suv and was satisfied. I needed the suv for me and my kids I’m a sports mom so a suv that size would have been perfect. Not to my own knowledge my credit was locked and I shut down immediately I had no idea that with my credit being locked it would prevent me from getting the car. I keep my credit locked due to I have been a victim of fraud. My credit was locked for so long.. 3 years to be exact I Immediately unlocked it on my app. I was told it would only take 1 hour via customer service at the credit bureau and they could try again. I asked Gustavo he said due to his bank they won’t allow him to do it again for up to a week. I was really surprised even my sweet husband tried to go back up there to try but he had already bought a new car so it didn’t work. I called almost everyday this week to Gustavo and was told my credit was still frozen even tho other dealers in Atlanta work with the same bank and never heard of that before. Gustavo never followed up with me I had to call him and he would keep Saying I can’t pull your credit it’s still locked. I checked with Experian and was told that Velocity didn’t run my credit again after 6/30 it would show on my file as blocked it they ran it again. I called Gustavo today and he told me that the dodge Durango was sold to someone else this week. Instead of a courtesy call he left me and strung me along thinking he would pull it and call me in to finalize the deal he didn’t. He didn’t reach out to me at all I had to call and find out that the suv I wanted sold. All it took was a simple phone call instead of having me wonder why the dealer didn’t want to keep me in the loop I felt lost and sad because I thought something was really wrong on my end. I’m no longer in the mood to look for a suv this experience left me sad and confused I will never come back to GA better yet velocity to have a car buying experience and I’m no longer looking for a car just because of this. This has totally took a heavy toll on me. If you visit this place please have your stuff in order.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I purchased a Range Rover from here. On my way home from buying the car, a suspension fault light came on. I immediately called Velocity and they stated to see if the light go off pass the weekend. If it doesn't, to give them a call. At that point I knew they were BSing me. The light never went off and a few days later the check engine light came on. At this point, The brakes are bad and the truck is leaning to one side. I did not trust them and I decided to not call them and take it to the dealer, the truck was a total LEMON, the truck has 3 pages of work needed and I paid $4500 to fix the immediate work that caused the lights to initially come on. I want people to be aware of this company. I paid $18,400 in full and I got ripped off. I was a little disappointed but it's just a lesson for me. Please be careful and if you could take a mechanic with you to throughly look over the car. I Know they knew this truck had previous problems and still decided to sell it. But they will definitely lose more in the end. Please listen to your inner self, if it don't feel right, then it's not right. I'm willing to provide proof off all the damage and receipts to anyone who just wants to see, if can help encourage them not to but from this company. My lawyer is currently handling this fraud situation and they will not get off easy with this! *** The good reviews are from them Them offering customers a free gas card. This company is a scam, please do not fall for them. If I can save anyone from having to experience what I experienced.
