AVOID MOTOR CARS OF OC

I purchased a 2005 Jaguar xk8 which was described as pristine with new tires and great brakes. The day I took the car home I noticed shaking above 65mph. BigO tires had to replace old bald tires, rear brakes and rotors, and broken front wheel strut. Cost $4000. The owner refused to pay more than $1500. FALSE ADVERTISING. Dangerous and DISHONEST.

Hello, I am very sorry about your experience, we are a small family oriented dealership with over 25 proud years of experience in the auto industry. Customer service, safety and satisfaction are our main priority. We always perform full inspections by our contracted certified mechanics before advertising to sell the car. Besides that, all of our customers have the privilege to inspect the car on their own by test driving, inspecting or even taking the car to their own mechanic before purchasing it. As you might be aware by signing the paperwork, all used cars are sold “AS IS’ that means with the current condition at the time of the sale but with no warranty unless you purchase the extended one. Please keep in mind that you purchased a classic Jaguar that is over 16 years old. Since satisfaction is one of our main priorities, at the time of signing paperworks, we offer all our customers to let us know if they have any concerns about their purchased vehicle within a few days. Unfortunately, you never used the privilege of contacting us for your concerns to notify us of an estimate for normal wear and tear repairs estimated by your mechanic shop. Unfortunately, you did not give us the courtesy of letting us know that you intended on repairing this vehicle and having us pay for the full repair costs. If we were made aware prior to the repair, we would have recommended that our own facility do the repairs which would have been less than half the price. We also could have discussed sharing the cost of repair if you wanted to use your repair shop. We were never informed of your decision. You also stated that we falsified the advertised mileage which we never did. When we make the vehicle ready for advertising we use the current vehicle’s mileage in our advertisement. Based on the time that it takes to sell the vehicle, which sometimes is a couple of months, the car might be driven by employees and clients but when a customer purchases the vehicle the mileage might be different and then we reflect the new corrected mileage in the sales contract. Your sales contract reflected the correct mileage on the day of your purchase. We already checked with our mechanic who inspected this vehicle and reviewed the inspection report. You texted us the proof of the invoice for all the repairs that were made to your vehicle by your chosen repair shop. After comparing our repairs and safety reports with yours, I came up with an agreement to cover any necessary repair expenses based on our cost allocation guidelines. You simply asked to get reimbursed for everything you decided to repair which was $4000.00. We tried to find a compromise to make you satisfied by offering you $1,500 cash back plus $1,500.00 discount on our asking price which will be the total of $3000 in reduction. Please be aware, this might not be matched with the cost of repair’s guideline at your repair shop but we believe we made our best effort with this offer to make you satisfied.

Honest and Professional

What a deal, this is what motivated me to buy with Motor Cars of OC. Very Professional, Honest Team. There was no haggle and their customer service and attention to detail was second to none. Luxury Class in Style

Looking for Something Specific

Specifically looking for a great quality and condition mercedes benz. Found it at Motor Cars of OC. The location of business is definitely professional and Covid sanitized clean. It is conveniently located right off 3 major freeways in Orange County. The 405, 55 and 73. Located specifically in a nice industrial business park with parking directly in front of the business. Great place to buy a car! Got it and drove away with what I wanted. While wearing my mask and remaining safe the Staff was exceptional.

Not an Honest Business

My experience with this dealer was terrible. They know how to do detailing to put a lipstick on a pig! Not an honest business, stay away from them.

Misleading Unethical Company

We were only one step behind purchasing a car from this company that we found out the car needs over $4000 immediate maintenance fee, half the value of the car, by performing an inspection. Ali was not an honest person and I do not recommend doing any business with him and his team. Stay away from this business and save your money and time.

We are truly sorry to hear about your experience but please specify which car you are talking about. Our reputation and customer service are the most important values to our dealership. We inspect all of our cars before selling it to our regular customers who are mostly dealing with us for many years. We are too small a company and provide a very personalized service and we are intimately involved with each vehicle. We drive every single car and have it inspected and or repaired if we have any issues before we list it for sale! I would say that the review is very false and it is attacking Ali in a personal way that is not true nor professional. We work with experienced salespersons who fully aware of company values.
