Absolutely great job with my car lease process and the return of my current car. Salesman was excellent and helpful with everything. I would recommend him to family and friends.

Chris Pannell provided an excellent experience
They did it again! This is our 3rd time purchasing from Reydel Volkswagen in Linden. Chris Pannell provided the highest caliber of service. He was knowledgeable and made us understand that our presence there was a priority. We had great conversation with Chris and soon after business was handled, We continued with great conversations with Chris and Jonnathan. Shout out to Chris Pannell, Jonnathan Munoz, Jack R Russell and Zabih Kotecha for following back up. You guys rock! Sincerely, Two very happy customers

Whoa--massive fail here!
After taking the better part of a day and taking one of their inexpensive (under $5K) used cars to be checked out by a mechanic, then coming to terms on a purchase, I had Reydel Volkswagen try to slap a $595 documentation fee on top of what they charged me DESPITE: 1) my having expressly asked their rep Stacia Hargrove on the phone when making the appointment this morning what additional fees beyond the listed or agreed to price of the car would they charge--and being told that if I did my own state registration there would be no additional fees, "just the price of the car and the sales tax" would be involved. (Then the salesman Chris Harper, who had earlier told me he'd heard my entire call with her this morning, reiterated that he had heard the call--implying that he had heard her say exactly to the contrary of what she had told me.) 2) Reydel's dealer disclaimer on their ad for the car on carfax.com, where I found the car, states: "Price includes all costs except for licensing costs, registration fees and taxes." (Some dealers This was on top of the salesman Chris claiming up front that he had checked with their service department who assured him that the shocks and struts had been replaced--when in fact that was the most expensive item the mechanic said needed immediate replacement. I'm not one to write negative reviews, and in fact I don't think I have written one elsewhere ever on the Internet, which I guess would make never at all. But IMO this company should not be allowed to conduct business like this--and others who can be warned away should be. (Carfax IMO should make them clean up their act too.)

Nice experience, friendly staff
I was very happy with this dealership. Each member of the staff from the receptionist to the sales staff to the finance manager was friendly and professional. We were some of the first customers after they began fully opening after the pandemic and the dealership took measures to make us feel safe. Kudos to our salesperson, Chris Harper and his manager Mo. It was worth the hour drive to purchase our used Beetle.
