Came yesterday to look at used car I saw online.

Came yesterday to look at used car I saw online. Asked “Dave” if car was still available and he said it was just sold. So walked out and before I got to car he got my attention and said they were waiting for check from credit union. Asked me if I still wanted to check out car, and he’ll have it brought out front. 2 minutes later he comes back and says car is getting work done fixing headliner so I couldn’t see it. He asked for my number and said he’ll call me. Left and maybe hour later I received text the car is now available to see and purchase. Came the next day to see car. They brought it up front and I asked what happened yesterday and he says buyer was denied financing. I asked what they fixed yesterday and he told me sunroof. Asked if I wanted to go for spin so we got in and pulled off. Noticed sunroof shade was open so I asked if it closed and he said no, they decided not to fix it and to sell it as is. I asked if the price was negotiable because bluebook was 12500, they had it listed at 13999 but it would cost me to fix and he said let’s have you decide if you wanted to buy 1st because he didn’t want to run the numbers on car if I didn’t want to buy. That made no sense. He turns on radio that’s playing Spanish music and neither of us are Hispanic so I turn off. He tells me 8 people are coming to buy car, it’s hard to buy cars right now, not many available. I guess that’s why lot full? Get back to lot and asked him to pop trunk. Mentioned trunk really small compared to my accord trunk and he disagreed. I showed him using a floor mat that was in trunk. Showed him the difference and in frustration he said I was such a car guy. Asked him what that meant and he said I was being argumentative about everything. I kinda laughed but wasn’t expecting him to be really serious, he was. I said I’m interested in buying a car and his attitude was a deterrent. Asked to speak with a manager instead. He introduced me, and I said thank you as he hovered in between us. I say excuse me, to which he raised his eyebrows. I then said your excused, I’m now having a conversation with your manager. So he finally walked away. Explained first salesman was being rude telling me I was being argumentative for calling out his xx. I say bluebook sale from private seller is 12,500, sunroof would need to be fixed, tires would need to be replaced soon (penny showed past ear) can you give me out the door price. He hands me printout 13,999+ 1,216.38 tax + $1053.23 in total fees. I ask him what the fees were and he explained its recondition fees. I understood maybe $500 fee, for example oil change and detail or title fees but none of that was included in fee. Was expected to believe it was done. Car seats were still dirty, oil dipstick was a little dirty, which showed me detail was half a$$ done and oil change wasn’t done recently. So I tried to negotiate sale price down $800 explaining kbb estimate, I’d have to fix sunroof, and spend at least $800 on new tires and more $ on tuneup. He explained they were in at $15,000 on car and they already discounted car. I tell him I saw listing history start at $14,498 then to 14399 then 14299 and now 13999 less than a month ago. He tells me he can knock $500 off fees. Which to me sounds discriminatory. I was asking to negotiate sale price not negotiate fees that they made up. He asked me what I was thinking and said I wanted to see $800 knocked off sale price because of all the things I mentioned and still wanted them to make money on sale. He replied he couldn’t do it so I shook his hand and said good luck and if he was willing to negotiate sale price, to give me call. I’m kinda glad he said that though because I would have spent even more on fixing up car than I wanted to. In all I guess it’s a curse for me to have mother and sister in car business for over 30 years but more of a curse to them trying to get as much money as they can from a desperate compulsive car buyer that I am not. I love this dealership.

I love this dealership. They've kept up with the vehicle maintenance and the after-purchase process to make sure everything went well. I've recently bought my vehicle from Kyle who went above and beyond and cares. Very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you, Kyle and Boktor Motors!

DONT BUY HERE!

Dont buy here! The mileage on the car was falsely advertised first off. Then the a.c. was blowing hot on one side so they said they would fix it and all they did was recharge it and call it good. Now im told by a different place that the compressor has a major leak and its gonna cost almost $4000 to fix. They didnt fix the issue only mask it. Now i have to try and stay cool in the heat since im stuck with the car. The dealership wont talk to me and treat me like im a piece of trash.

Hello Aaron, Please explain how the vehicle could possibly have 8k more miles, when we post photos of the miles on every car and by law you have to sign an odometer disclosure stating you are aware of the miles at time of sale. This sounds like a competitor’s false review…. Cheers bud!
