I purchased a used SUV from this dealership on 11/24.

I purchased a used SUV from this dealership on 11/24. The very next day (11/25), the vehicle began shaking while driving and felt unsafe, despite no check engine light. On 11/29, I returned to the dealership to raise concerns. I was told the vehicle had gone through a “thorough inspection” and that there was no 500-mile or 15-day warranty. No diagnosis or solution was offered. After posting a review on 12/1, I was contacted by Jay (Sales Manager) on 12/2, who stated he looked into the issue after the review was removed. The SUV was dropped off at service on 12/3. On 12/8, SUV was picked up and I reached out to Jay about the SUV still shaking. I was told approximately $2,000 was spent replacing motor mounts and that the transmission “checked out.” Jay stated both motor mounts were replaced; however, the repair documentation later showed only the left motor mount was identified as worn. The vehicle continued to vibrate. The SUV was returned to service on 12/9. On 12/10, I was told the issue was “Chevy shake,” described as a common condition, and that the driveshaft had been rebalanced and the better of the 4 tires were placed on the rear. I was told the technician test drove the vehicle and approved it. When I picked up the SUV on 12/12, the shaking was still present. Attempts to follow up on 12/13 went unanswered. On 12/15, I took the SUV to an independent third-party shop. They found leaking rear shocks, a leaking vacuum pump, and transmission-related concerns—issues that were never disclosed or resolved by the dealership. After sharing these findings with both the service advisor and sales manager, I received no response. This vehicle was sold as having passed a “thorough inspection,” yet it has had serious mechanical issues since the day after purchase. Communication stopped once independent findings were presented, and the vehicle remains unsafe to drive. I cannot recommend this dealership based on my experience.

The Jeep Wrangler, I purchased, took forever to handover

The Jeep Wrangler, I purchased, took forever to handover the keys, an hour and a half. It was only filled to a half tank of gas. I assumed it would’ve been full. Upon checking the oil when I got home, it did not register on the dipstick. So apparently the dealer did not check the oil when they purchased from the original owner. Also, I discovered collision damage that was not reported in the Carfax or mentioned by the dealer. This I had to repair out of my own pocket which included broken side marker light, dented, quarter panel, fender, and loose fender, flares on the side of the apparent collision. And of course, the blue book on these used vehicles never really plays into the dealers price point, it was much more expensive to buy from this dealer than it would have been from a private owner. Nonetheless, I was disappointed with Larry Miller Ford used cars. However, there are secretary and my initial salesman, Ricky were quite nice to me.

The dealership is great.

The dealership is great. If I had anything negative to say, it is that the purchasing experience is very old school. We had already negotiated everything before we got to the dealership to get the car and it still took 3 hours to get through everything. Returning to get the detail they promised was more of the same. They said it would be “well less than an hour” 1.5 hours later, I had to find someone to get my car

Dealer response

Thank you for the balanced feedback. I’m glad to hear the dealership overall met expectations, but I understand how the long process and delays with delivery fell short. We appreciate your patience and would love a shot at streamlining things better for you next time. If you’d like to share more, I’m always open to a conversation. - Richard Young, General Manager, ryoung4@lhmauto.com or 480-530-9510

I was met at showroom door by a very polite knowledgeable

I was met at showroom door by a very polite knowledgeable young salesman, Sage. I told him what I wanted and in a short time I was behind the wheel of a new Maverick. After a test drive we returned to the dealership and financing was secured. There was no pressure or underhanded sales tactics. I highly recommend the crew there, Sage, Cisco, Richard, Diontre and others
