I had a horrible expierience at New Rochelle Toyota. After 3 and half hours of driving one way I came to look at a truck that was full of dents and scratches . You’d think they be. Little honest before you come all that way. Like I wasn’t gonna see the horrible condition it was in . Nobody seemed to care either way . Not good sales ppl at all .

One of the worse experience with a car dealership.
One of the worse experience with a car dealership. To buy the car I was the most important person. To service the I was not important. The manager in the service dept was horrible. He need a lots of training in the customer services dept. He was rude and nasty. He did not care about my concern. I did have an appointment and need it to leave the car, but they never told me that I need it to leave the car. Once I decided to leave the car, they told that they did not have any loaner available and no transportation. I decided to take my car and make another appointment for another day. Once I did that the manager throw the paper on his desk and walk out of his office. He left me there with one of the sale person. On top of that they kept me waiting for about 20 minutes on the phone trying to talk to somebody and eventually make an appointment. I will not come back to that dealership ever again. Love Toyota, hate, HATE Toyota of New Rochelle.

On Friday 7/18, I found the vehicle I wanted on the
On Friday 7/18, I found the vehicle I wanted on the Toyota website and called New Rochelle Toyota to confirm that the vehicle was still in their inventory. I spoke to Sunae Evans, who assured me that it was. I made an appointment to meet with her the following day. When I arrived on 7/19 (after a 45 minute drive) I was told that Ms. Evans was not there. Then I was told that the vehicle was not there. When I demanded to speak to the manager, he said the vehicle was supposed to arrive the day before but had been delayed. When I said that was okay and asked when it would arrive, they then said there was already a deposit on it. I'm not sure if this is a case of dishonesty or incompetency, but I will certainly not deal with New Rochelle Toyota in the future

I really question their ethics. I called today on a used vehicle they have listed. I tried to put a deposit on it and come down 2 days later to pick it up. They are a 6 hour ride for me and I wanted to be able to make one trip and drive the truck home. The sales manager said she would have the used car manager call me to arrange. I receive a call 3 hours later saying they already took a deposit on the vehicle and it was not communicated. I question the timing and the fact they wouldn't take a deposit from me. I was not trading in a vehicle and was going to pay cash. I don't think they wanted to do that.

In my 50+ years I have bought many cars, whether for myself or navigating the process with family or friends. This has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had at a dealership; they are very, very dishonest! Bought a 2019 Honda from New Rochelle Toyota. During the test drive, I called out that the heater isn't working great and salesman promises to have it handled before we pick it up. Then report shows there's a recall for the Honda; why wouldn't New Rochelle Toyota not have the recall handled before they even advertise the vehicle? Keep in mind, they acquired the car in May 2025 AND New Rochelle Honda is sister dealership (same owner/parent company). Instead the salesman insinuates that sometimes the fix for recalls isn't available. After picking up the car on June 9th and driving home, I noticed that there's no sound from the radio when using FM. I called the salesman the next morning to report that. The salesman books me an appointment for Saturday June 14th to have radio and heater taken care of. On Friday June 13th, I called him to confirm that we're all good for Saturday June 14th. When I arrive on June 14th at 8:00AM on June 14th the service department gives me the runaround and nothing got done. I am offered another appointment for June 19th, the following week. Based on the above subpar experience, on June 16th I take the car to a Honda dealer near my home to get it looked over. I come to find out that recall fix has been widely available since Jan/Feb of this year. I also find out that the front brakes (pads and rotors) were in need of immediate replacement (down to 2 mm). I immediately contact New Rochelle Toyota and they told me to bring the car back and they will take care of things and they gave me a 9:00AM appointment for June 19th. On June 19th, I arrived at New Rochelle Toyota at 8:45AM and as planned, one of their staff members took the car to New Rochelle Honda (sister dealership). I was in their sitting room the entire day to 4:00PM; come to find out they did not address any of the issues even though I had an appointment on the books from the week prior. They did not even attempt to handle the recall. I was completely disappointed. No one wanted to take ownership and have the situation handled. They then asked me to bring it back on June 20th, without any assurance which items will be addressed. On the evening of 19th (9:00PM) New Rochelle Toyota sales manager leaves me a voicemail that the dealership will only take care of the recall. They disputed/refused to fix the radio, heater, and do the brakes stating that it passed NY inspection on a vehicle I just got from them the week prior. I would never transact with this dealership, even if they were the last dealership on this planet. I also would never recommend them to anyone! All i wanted was fair treatment and they failed to do that.

Dear Mr. Joseph, We are writing to address your recent concerns regarding the 2019 Honda you purchased from New Rochelle Toyota on June 9th. We understand your frustration and value your feedback. You mentioned several issues, including the heater, radio, a recall, and the front brakes. We want to clarify our position on each of these points. Regarding the New York State Used Car Lemon Law, the warranty guidelines for used cars in New York State cover specific components. These include: * **Engine:** Lubricated parts, water pump, fuel pump, manifolds, engine block, cylinder head, rotary engine housings, and flywheel. * **Transmission:** The transmission case, internal parts, and the torque converter. * **Drive Axle:** The front and rear axle housings and internal parts, axle shafts, propeller shafts, and universal joints. * **Brakes:** Master cylinder, vacuum assist booster wheel cylinders, hydraulic lines and fittings, and disc brake caliper. * **Steering:** The steering gear housing and all internal parts, power steering pump, valve body, piston, and rack. * **Other parts:** Radiator, alternator, generator, starter, and ignition system (excluding battery). Based on the New York State Inspection standards, the vehicle is mechanically sound. Concerning the radio, under these conditions, it is not covered by the warranty. Please keep in mind that various factors can cause static in FM radio. We have inspected the heater and found it to be operating normally without any issues. Finally, regarding the brake concern, for a vehicle to pass New York State inspection, the brakes must be in working order and not compromise the driver's safety. Our trained Toyota certified mechanics are required to uphold these standards, as failure to do so would result in their license being revoked by the New York State DMV. Unfortunately, this information does not address my concerns. It actually confirms that the dealership does not prioritize buyer satisfaction and/or long term relationships. Using the radio as example, the car was sold to me with a defective radio. It has not worked properly since the day I bought and picked up the car on the evening of June 9th (purchase date). This has nothing to do with static, no sound when the radio is on AM/FM. I have brought the vehicle back twice so far (June 14th and June 19th) and the dealership could have addressed this at what I am sure is minimal cost. On June. 14th I demo the problem to the sales manager and he stated it would get address when I bring car back on 19th. Had I. known the radio was not working and the brakes were low, I would have brought up these issues before finalizing the transaction. What is the response for not having addressed the recall before advertising the car or at least having it done before I picked it up on June 9th? Also, what is the response for having the car from 9-4PM on June 19th while I sat there and absolutely nothing was addressed?

My wife was looking for a new Corolla in a special color that she wanted and we saw on line that New Rochelle Toyota had one coming in soon. We immediately called and was set up to meet with a sales person. First we met with Marwa Khushbu (Sales) who was extremely helpful and made the purchase very easy. The only problem we had was to orchestrate when we could pick up the car because of our work schedules. Marwa was off on the one day that we had and that was when we met Manny Martinez (Sales) and Ronny Chavez (Finance Manager). Manny and Ronny were excellent and helped us get through the process. I have bought a few cars in my life but the staff of employees at New Rochelle Toyota go above and beyond to help their Customers. Buying a car at New Rochelle Toyota was a great experience.
