Drove up to purchase a used EV after calling to confirm that they could process the irs used ev tax credit multiple times on the phone. When I got there I was told that they were unable to do this due to the system being down. They were also unwilling to fill out and submit the paper forms. They also added on a $650 appearance protection fee which is completely optional online and would not match the online price. And on top of all that they lost the ev charger. Completely dishonest and misleading business practices.

At this time, we are still waiting to be setup with the appropriate agency, that oversees this credit. And we also apologize for the miscommunication regarding our appearance protection package. A totally frustrating experience
I spoke to a representative on the phone and told her I would like to buy a Honda Cr-v advertised. I would pick it up the next day and explained I was going through my credit union to finance. She said she could put a hold on it with a credit card. I tried 3 times to do so online but your website wouldn't accept my email address as legit. I called back to try to do this over the phone but the gentleman answering said he'd contact Ashley. She texted me later that she would hold it but seemed uncertain that I wouldn't show up. I then sent a screenshot of a cashier's check and an auto power check I possessed and reassured her I would be there. I was then told they didn't accept these checks from the credit union. Seems like cash or financing thru Echo Park are the only options. Knowing this from the start would have saved me a lot of hassles and I would have moved on. Can't believe the company won't work with the State Employees Credit Union seeing how it has 2.7 million members! I would caution anyone thinking of doing business with Echo Park to look elsewhere

Mike, we are sorry there if there was any misunderstanding regarding the check your credit union provided you for payment on a new vehicle. We DO accept cashier's checks as payment from lots of different institutions but DO NOT accept them when they are bank drafts (power checks). We would be happy to answer any questions you may have and hope that we can assist you in the future.

I honestly can not rave enough about EchoPark. From the very first experience of me reaching out via their website to me walking out the door with keys in hand, each and every single experience was fantastic! I could literally write a novel about my wonderful experience but I'll spare everyone! Online/chat customer service reps (Jesse, Natasha) were great to work with. Super responsive and they absolutely followed through on everything they said they would. Ashley in Finance was also great to work! Lastly, my dude George from Miami was an excellent sales rep, very professional and knowledgeable and he did his best to get us out of the door as expeditiously as possible! I don't purchase cars often but I will never go to a dealer again; I will gladly run to EchoPark! I can't get over the level of customer services, kind of reminds me of Chic-Fil-A in that regards! They go above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Thanks for the great experience! Customer for life!
