The people I worked with over there had poor

The people I worked with over there had poor communications and they low-balled my trade-in. I was interested in the truck they had, but they failed to tell me others were coming in to look at it. If they did, I would have put a deposit down, but again, the poor communications led to me losing the truck. I believe the other reviews stating they sold a car even though there was a deposit on it. Don't waste your time going there.

I would give this place no stars, worst customer

I would give this place no stars, worst customer experience ever.I went back and forth with a rep for hours last Saturday to arrange to come in this Saturday to buy a brand new vehicle and even put a deposit on it and they sold it out from under me!!! I made arrangements for a trade in, my insurance, took out money to purchase and less than 24 hours before I was going to come in, text message me to say they sold it. Terrible!!!

Very much a pushy, aggressive dealership.

Very much a pushy, aggressive dealership. Wanted to instantly know if I was going to finance, how much I was going to put down, etc before even unlocking the car. The “test drive” was very minimal, was told they wouldn’t deal at all on the car. Also had a “free” warranty that just made sure you came to the dealership for all maintenance. It was basically every negative used car dealership stereotype all in one.

Do not do business at this dealership.

Do not do business at this dealership. I had a purchase agreement (an actual purchase agreement, not just an offer sheet) for a 2022 RAM 1500 that was signed by management that they declined to honor 5 minutes before I was set to close the deal with my credit union. Apparently 4 business days to secure financing "just took too long" to suit them. On top of this I had given them a $500 deposit to secure the RAM 1500. The salesman canceling the deal was completely unapologetic basically telling me "tough s..." The conduct of the entire sales team at John Amato is what gives used car salesmen a bad name. Should be zero stars. DO NOT BUY HERE!

I was really looking and hoping for a great experience at

I was really looking and hoping for a great experience at Amato. I am what you call a very motivated buyer, not a browser of cars. I have car picked out and ready to go pick it up. But unfortunately chase helderbrand the used car sales manager wasn't motivated to sell a car. He told me I have to come into their showroom to get a better deal because there are variables. Really what variables. They want you to come in so they can make you sit around for hours. I am also very realistic on pricing and willing to negotiate but again they just want you in their showroom. Read some of the other comments about making you sit forever in their showroom.

Terrible customer service, our vehicle was dented when we

Terrible customer service, our vehicle was dented when we came to pick it up and I'm having a hard time getting in touch with someone about it even though they promised to fix it and gave me an I OWE YOU to fix it. The van was filthy and stained when we picked it up and again the sales lady said it would be detailed when they fixed the dents. Worst auto buying experience I've ever had. I would not purchase or recommend them for buying an automobile. I'll definitely be looking into further actions.

If I could give them zero stars I would.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I was buying a car for cash and indicated ona Thursday that I would be writing a check and the he stated this would be ok. I took the car to my mechanic, paying $125, to have the car looked over. We get back to the dealership and I write the check and the salesman says he has to run my credit before accepting my check. I don’t understand why they would need to run my credit if I’m paying cash for the car. The salesman says, “we have to be careful in this area.” The dealership is in a suburb near Milwaukee, an urban area. When I told him I was writing a check, he could have requested a cashier’s check, he did not. I have paid cash for two cars in the past and no one ever had to run a credit report ( I have excellent credit but don’t like unnecessary interest and I have the money). I am not upset about them requiring a cashiers check, but he should have told me that Thursday, not Saturday at noon, with the bank 30 minutes away. The general manager, JR Amato, was rude on the phone and started it was not their policy to accept checks, which was not told to me on Thursday. I asked him for the number to Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler and he told me to “google it.” I will be googling it and taking my business to Holiday Automotive in Fond du Lac, the last place I purchased a car for cash.
