I’ve had many serious issues in the past with this
I’ve had many serious issues in the past with this dealership. So I stopped going there. Kia sent me a notice about a recall. I made a service appointment to have this taken care of. When I arrived I spoke to Juan, the new service manager. I expressed my disappointment and informed him of the issues I’ve faced in the past. He expressed his sincere concern and apologies and let me know he was new and wanted to make a difference. He gave me his word he would make things right and that he would be there for me if I needed anything. Juan, kept his word!! He took care of everything personally. He made sure not only the recall was taken care of, but the other issues I had too. I can’t thank Juan enough for his customer service and for making me feel like I can finally have some confidence in ALM Kia South’s service department. I even informed the new General Manager with how pleased I was with Juan’s service. It looks like ALM Kia South is finally taking the steps to truly be not just a great dealership, but to also represent the KIA brand. Thank You again Juan!!

I was lied to!
I was lied to! I picked the wrong dealership to get a Kia! I would never send anyone to this place. 1st red flag is they didn’t honor the price I saw online. It was ALL of the vehicles under the model I was interested in. They offered dealer discounts on that vehicle type. But when I wasn’t able to, they claim that price was only if I went through their financing. But I didn’t need it, I have a check from my credit union to cover the purchase. My salesperson A’Jewel doesn’t seem to know anything. I don’t know if she just started working there or what. And although her energy was cool, the knowledge of her job was lacking. She told me the extra item on my key rings was just for decoration but it’s actually a key! I open it it then I had to figure out what it went to. Turns out it’s a glove box key. Then she left with the vehicle to get gas, filling up the tank and I waited 10 mins for her to get back. They gave me a we owe for window tinting and then kept making excuses for it not getting scheduled. The last lie I was told about that is “We can’t schedule it because we’re waiting for your deal to be funded. The tinting can’t be done yet or else they’re going to make me pay the tint guy.” She claimed they have to cash the check first. They have a check from my credit union that the finance lady Latoya called to get the validation code for, right in front of me on the day of purchase. My credit union said that’s all they need, that funded your deal, so they’re just jerking you around. Other Kia dealerships have gas on site and window tinting. And I’m told they would’ve gotten me as close to the price I saw online as possible. These people didn’t do that! The manager on duty Dondre was not very helpful either. My daughter has been to 2 other Kia dealerships and what I witnessed with her was so much better than what I got at ALM Kia South. Tinting on site, gas fill up on site and dealer discounts that they honored both times! It’s hard to get in touch with A’Jewel now that she’s gotten her commission for the sale. I still haven’t had the tint scheduled or completed. This was not a good place for the experience I was expecting. I certainly didn’t get it! I hate to have regret with business matters and this just left a big one.
