Worst car experience of my life.

Worst car experience of my life. I was sold an obviously f’d up car that “no one knows what’s wrong “ after weeks. As a complete idiot with zero mechanics background it’s not rocket science to start with the starter and alternator when something is draining the battery and the battery is not the problem. Also, I started off with pre approval from my own bank. They knew this. I wanted everything done before coming in to avoid all the xx. Without my permission they did a hard pull on my credit using GMC finance which I clearly didn’t want. I didn’t want another hard pull on my credit so now I’m suck with a higher interest rate. Then had to sit through the xx trying to be tricked into the gap and warranty crap. I should have walked away but REALLY wanted this 2 year old, low mileage car. I drove it at most 3 days before it became useless. Since it was under the 30 days they were obligated to fix it. Weeks later I still have no car! No answers. No communication unless I’m calling but get no where. I’ve had to take off work, I’ve had to spend a fortune in renting a car and will again next week as well because I have to work. Unlike car selling, my job is important and need to make sure innocent children are alive. I have to drive all over for my job. Now a hurricane is coming for a direct hit and I have no way to leave to safer ground. No loaner was given or offered. When I asked I was told no there’s no loaner. When I get information it’s all lies. Finally I was told after days oh we can’t fix it. Jeep has to fix it. We can’t read Jeep codes. Told at 11:30am they would bring it to Jeep. I called Jeep that evening and it was never taken to Jeep. Since it was a Fri. It wasn’t going to be taken until at least the next Monday. I have GMC calling Jeep liars. I have Jeep calling GMC liars. They are all lying! I’m just sick at my decision to use this place. I did attempt to say I don’t want this car, out of a month I’ve had it 3 days! I was basically told too bad it’s your legal responsibility now. Nothing can be done. There’s no laws or anything to protect being screwed.

Poor customer service.

Poor customer service. You have to wait on a service advisor. To assign your vehicle to a tech. You made an appointment the week before and the advisor is off or even running late your car just sits until your advisor arrives. Horrible

My recent experience with Ross Downing Buick GMC of

My recent experience with Ross Downing Buick GMC of Gonzales left much to be desired. From start to finish, I encountered numerous issues that made the entire process extremely frustrating and disappointing. First and foremost, the communication at this dealership is abysmal. Promised follow-ups were consistently missed, and important details were overlooked or misrepresented. It felt like pulling teeth just to get a straight answer or any form of communication from the staff. Moreover, the pricing seemed to be a constantly moving target. What started as a seemingly straightforward transaction quickly turned into a nightmare. It became abundantly clear that transparency and honesty were sorely lacking in their pricing practices. To make matters worse, the overall level of customer service was subpar. Rather than addressing my concerns and working towards a solution, I felt dismissed and ignored by the staff. It's incredibly disheartening to see a dealership prioritize profits over customer satisfaction. The finance manager, Abner Sanders, is horrible. Do not let him do any financing for you. This is by far the worst car-buying experience I have encountered.

Said they were going to get back with me with some

Said they were going to get back with me with some additional photos. They never did.. They kept insisting on me making an 8 hour round trip to just look at it. I guess since they were not gonna be the ones driving that long, it didn't matter. I just simply wanted to better see some photo areas that were not shown on the image's on their website. No loss! It saved me the hassel of finding out with whom I would have been dealing with.

Ross Downing Gonzales

This is the 3 time we have brought power vehicle to Ross Downing. There will not be a 4th. SLOW!!!! You make an appointment and they don?t look at your vehicle until at least 4-5 days later. (Every time) Our last experience was the enough. Brought it in for 3 issues. We have an extended warranty. They said the technician trouble shot the issues 1st issue was park assist not working. Said it may be do to a grounding wire issue and would take 4-5 hrs to trouble shoot further and said warranty wouldn?t cover it. I think that?s xx Next was a suspension issue. I told them to drive it and when taking right hand turns you can hear it. Tech said he turned the wheel side to side and heard nothing. I asked if he drove it, he said he didn?t know but doesn?t hear an issue. Lastly the coolant /radiator fan is much louder than normal and stays on for 15-20 minutes after vehicle is turned off. He said he THINKS it?s a bad negative battery cable. I asked if he tested anything else like the thermostat. He said no. We are pretty sure it?s the battery cable. Then said none of this is covered under warranty. I told him to park it and we would pick it up. I told him I felt the technician isn?t doing a good job of trouble shooting, especially after having my suv for a week. Wife picks it up and they charge her $200 for trouble shooting. Place is horrible!!!! Feel free to call me and we can discuss how bad they are

The Worst Car Buying Experience

The worst car buying experience I have been apart of. I purchased an "Just Arrived" vehicle with the promise to fix all the issues stated and a complete detail wash. After a 4 week waiting period with minimal communication I decided to visit the lot to see the progress for myself only 3 of the 8 issues had been fixed. Only after I raised my concerns were the other issues taken care of. I waited over 5 weeks to have most of the issues checked off the list and still a horrible detailing job was done. I was tired of paying a car note and not having the car to drive I just accepted in poor condition. No I would not purchase another vehicle from Ross Downing Buick GMC.
