Kept forgetting about us. Took forever to "repair"

Went in because our vehicle died on us while vacationing, they said it was our battery. No big deal, we had a mopar battery so it was free to replace. Had to call our home dealership to get paperwork sent over, which we did. Our dealership sent over the paperwork, Downtown auto said they got the wrong thing even though they got exactly what they asked for. None of the people helping us knew what was going on. One lady came out to talk to us and turned away mid sentence to talk to someone else and never got back to us. Told us theyd replace our battery in a couple hours after a day of phone calls (awesome!). 4 hours by and still no phone call (keep in mind we're on vacation with no vehicle) finally we go over to the dealership and they totally forgot about our vehicle. Took 20 minutes to replace the battery. 20 minutes. They weren't busy, theyd have 48 hours at that point. The next day our car died again, we took it in and told them it had to be the alternator and they just wouldn't listen. They said no way, it had to have been something in the radio wiring (!?!?!) We left, took it to autozone who ran a diagnostic on it and sure enough it was the alternator. Took it to a local shop and they guy told us the same thing. He had it repaired in an hour. WHAT A HEADACHE DOWNTOWN AUTO IS!! VERY POORLY RAN.

They broke my rear camera and said it wasn't them

I paid for a tire sensor and got car back with broken reverse camera. They denied responsibility although they sent my car to another garage to have the sensor replaced. Perhaps it was that garage? Nevertheless, my camera worked perfectly when I left my car for the day and getting it back is when I discovered my camera flickering on and off. They wanted to give me a quote to replace my camera. They said the camera malfunction is normal wear and tear. NO Way! Its coincidental that on that particular day it decided to malfunction? I will not have them service my Chrysler in the future. AH$!!!

They fixed 1 thing and broke another & denied responsibility

I took my Chrysler in for a tire sensor which was sent to another garage to be replaced- what? If I had known it needed to go somewhere else, I would have liked to have known, I could've gone there directly.. Then, I got my car back with a broken reverse camera. They said they didn't break it. Well maybe the other garage broke it! It was working perfectly when I dropped it off and spontaneously it just broke? They seemed unaffected and basically told me it was my problem and they could give me a quote for a replacement. Not just NO WAY! but, h#=%* No!

I want to say that Matt contacted me directly to assist in resolving the problem with my reverse camera within a couple days after I posted the 1st review- thank you Matt, I sincerely appreciate you reaching out to me. I received great service from Jordan who assisted in the entire process and took care of replacing my camera; that's all I wanted, was for my car to be in perfect running condition. I am thankful for the courteous and professional service I received in resolving my camera issue. Thanks again Matt and Jordan. Downtown Auto Group is definitely an honorable dealership.

Worst Service!

My boyfriend and I were shopping for a used car with a decent price. After checking online to see what the dealership had in our price range, we decided we would head down to test drive the vehicle. We get there, and are told to wait. Fifteen minutes went by before anyone bothered to help us, and then we're told the truck we were wanting to buy is actually their parts truck - not for sale. Yet their website had it listed, price and all. After that they basically ignored us, and didn't even bother suggesting another vehicle for us to look at. We walked out, no sale, and will NEVER return. I've never seen a dealership treat a potential sale with such disregard. If you want to beg them to do their jobs, go ahead and shop there. Otherwise, I'd go elsewhere.
