Got hard sold on an extra electronics warranty.

Got hard sold on an extra electronics warranty. Ok cool, got it. Bring it in for electronic issues, they want you to sign 190.00 off to them incase its your fault then you eat the diag charge. Lol Tell people that when you hard sell them the warranty. For 190.00 you just lost a customer that was completely happy with that little kona for his wife and was going to get another next year. /middle finger /toodles

I purchased a 2022 Kia Niro from Young Hyundai on

I purchased a 2022 Kia Niro from Young Hyundai on February 1, 2025, and strongly advise others to avoid this dealership based on my experience. Certified Pre-Owned Misrepresentation The salesperson at Young Hyundai had the vehicle brought from Young Kia. I specifically asked about certified status but was only informed after purchase that I needed to buy directly from Young Kia for certification. I was also sold an unwanted extended warranty under misleading circumstances. Poor Vehicle Condition & Delivery Issues * Purchased February 1st, but didn't receive until February 5th * Was promised a recall would be fixed before delivery, then told only Kia could do it * Vehicle had rock chips in windshield, worn-out wiper blades, and low coolant levels * Only received one key despite multiple promises to locate the second key * Had to pay $200 for an additional key out of pocket Empty Promises & Poor Communication * Reported these issues immediately upon delivery * Was contacted on February 10th with promises to fix everything within 2 weeks * As of March 8th (over 3 weeks later), no contact or resolution has been provided * Multiple promises to resolve these issues were made but none fulfilled ## Additional Misrepresentations * Told Lo-Jack vehicle tracking system was required for financing * The system was never installed despite dealership having vehicle for 5 days * I confirmed with my bank that Lo-Jack is not a financing requirement Despite multiple attempts to resolve these issues, the dealership has been unresponsive and failed to honor their commitments. The combination of misrepresentation, poor vehicle preparation, and lack of follow-through has made this purchase experience extremely frustrating. I would strongly recommend considering other dealerships in the area.

Do not buy a car at Young Hyundai.

Do not buy a car at Young Hyundai. This dealership tries to get every penny out of the car sales. They fault advertised the car as a Certified Pre Owned (CPO) then charged $799 for the CPO Also: $499 for road hazard $399 for LoJack $448 for doc fees Then they said the road hazard, LoJack, doc fee and CPO fees are not negociable. Drove 30 minutes to another dealership in SLC and avoided all the fees, including the Doc fee. Never will buy a car at young in Ogden again.

Believe the bad reviews.

Believe the bad reviews. The service department here is terrible. Cameron is our service advisor and when we took our sonata in we thought he was knowledgeable and was going to help us. Our vehicle has a burned valve. It has a recall on the faulty engine design but lucky us our issue isn’t related to the lifetime engine warranty. I have called and texted and got one reply that the system was down. I was told I had to call Hyundai corporate myself and open a case. I did. The one reply I got was that he would follow up he hasn’t. So basically our car is sitting at the dealer and we have the option to pay $5000 to fix it or kick rocks and pay the diagnostic. I will NEVER buy a car from young or a Hyundai KIA again. Horrible service department. Absolutely no help. I asked if anything cheaper can be done “Let me see what i can do for you in parts and labor i will see if i can discount all of it and get you a better price. I want to personally say i am sorry for not being on top of communication with you. So let me try and make this situation better for you guys.” “You got it give me a bit because i can update the labor pricing but i have to go talk to parts to get adjustments.” “I will let you know by today thats my promise, i empathize for you guys in this situation i will do everything in my power to try and get yall taken care of.” He didn’t get back to us and was off work on Saturday. Edith their customer service person is also worthless. I’m not even sure why she has a job. She called me an asked at least 5 times how to get me to improve my review. I told her to help get my car fixed after 2 weeks and work on the cost. She offered me a $35 daily rental (airport rents for less than $20) or I could talk to a salesman and trade in the car. I will NEVER buy from young again thanks to this dealer. I also didn’t get a response back from the general manager. I hope young looks into this dealership and sees how their name is being trashed.

Just a poor experience.

Just a poor experience. Received a text from the dealership asking to buy my car as they were needing more cars and would find me something comparable to cost and type. I did some online shopping and found a couple of possible vehicles to look at and see what kind of deals/help the dealership may offer. The dealer I was talking with let me know they would get the vehicles ready and had no current prospects to either. I went in. The dealer was helping another customer on the phone and sent a new dealer out to cover till she was done. New dealer was nice but obviously new. Neither vehicle was on the lot or ready and I was told they would have them there shortly (within 10 min). We looked around at a few other vehicles while waiting. This was more than 30minutes We asked to see another van while waiting. The dealer (new guy) left to get the key and never returned; the original dealer was working with never came out. I waited another 5-10min and finally walked into the dealership to see all the available dealers over in a corner laughing and joking (including the original dealer that was supposed to come out to help me or show me around). The 2nd dealer was no where to be seen. So I left. Obviously the dealership didn’t want to sale a car(s) or work or deal with the customers it seems. Just an overall bad experience and I will take my future car shopping elsewhere as they seem to desire.

This review is directed more to Hyundai than the

This review is directed more to Hyundai than the dealership, but they represent Hyundai. I bought a 2019 Hyundai Tuscon in 2020. Never owned a Hyundai but the warranty was "the best in the business". I loved it, the way it drove, the features, the way it looked inside and out. One problem though, the car has gone through 5 catalytic converters in the last 2 years. It has been at a Hyundai service department 6 out of the last 8 months. The catalytic converter has been replaced 4 times. The timing chain and the cylinder heads have been replaced by my extended warranty(Not Hyundai). They don't know what is causing the catalytic converter to go out so I have 3 options: 1st option is to replace the engine for around 12k. 2nd option is to pay 4k up front for a complete tear down of the engine to find the root cause, then hope my extended warranty(Not Hyundai) will pay to repair it. My extended warranty doesn't cover the catalytic converter so Minimum of 7K. The third option was to go pick up the car, engine light on and needed a new catalytic converter. I chose the 3rd option since I don't have 7-12k to pay. I begged, pleaded and threatened Hyundai to help with the repairs and they responded by saying"We decline to offer any financial assistance". I don't have a clue what to do now. I can't sell it or trade it in and I can't drive it . I have a loan on it so I am screwed. My advice is not to buy a Hyundai/Kia product so you don't end up in a situation like I am in. Their "best in the business" 10yr/100k warranty is useless. My car is the exact definition of a "Lemon", 100% an engine defect but they will admit that. I know that sounds harsh but this has been the most stressful, upsetting and frustrating thing I have ever been through. I still love the car but I just wish I could drive it.

Where do I start.

Where do I start. Today, my wife took her car in to have 2 recalls completed. She had an appointment at 10:45. When she arrived they asked if she would be waiting and she said yes. They said if may take up to 2 hours to complete. Over the next 3 hours she went and asked when they thought they would bring the car in to start. They kept saying it would be shortly. After 2 PM they finally brought the car in. I called to check to see why it had taken them so long and they told me that they didn't know she was waiting! WOW!! Great service!! After I explained what happened, they told me I could take my car somewhere else. I won't even begin to go into what has happened in the past with my daughter's car. I should have learned my lesson then and drove further to have my recalls completed. I am not so sure, I will ever buy a Hyundai again.

If I could rank this dealership lower I would.

If I could rank this dealership lower I would. They are so crooked. Stuck paying on a new car that serious engine issues. Tried getting it fixed threw their mechanics and they kept asking for money to tear it apart to work with the manufactures warrenty program. I got it back multiple times and the issue wasn't fixed after they just kept working the warranty program. They need to be reported to the BBB. Absolutely the most heartless car dealership I know.

The finance manager lied that and did not inform me that

The finance manager lied that and did not inform me that he was finalizing a sale, did not provide finance documents that indicate there is no cool off period. He said of nothing is final yet and now I am getting collection calls for a car they have in their possession and no response from them since 12/18/2023. Stay away from them, these are not good people at all.
