I’ve bought 3 vehicles from DriveTime Fort Myers starting

I’ve bought 3 vehicles from DriveTime Fort Myers starting back in 2013. Each experience was better than the last. And the 5year 50k mile warranty saved my a$$ from having to pay 6k for new engine, I paid a $100 co pay !! The staff has stayed the same over all these years, which is awesome and says a lot. Sherlan, George , Ryan 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve bought 3 vehicles from DriveTime Fort Myers starting back in 2013. Each experience was better than the last. On Jan. 10th went to the Fort Myers location to check out...

On Jan. 10th went to the Fort Myers location to check out a vehicle. I was set on purchasing, had the offer for my trade, and secured financing the next day. The lift gate did not work. The GM sent the truck out for repair, it came back 10 days later. I reiterated several times and several ways, once repaired I will complete the deal that I had in writing from them. Since it took 10 days to repair their truck, my trade was re assessed, I was told the first offer "expired" and the offer dropped about $900. Meaning I would have to pay $900 more net for the truck. Then they attempted to "compromise" and offer an additional $500 for my trade. We were still off by over $400. The fact that it took 10 days to repair their vehicle should not be on me. What an incredible waste of time. In addition, a hard inquiry on my credit, plus my insurance company had already drafted my new policy with the new vehicle. Really bad business, over $400!!! Do the right thing DriveTime or fix your process. Beware everyone! Their response to me when I gave them this feedback was they can't control the length of time it takes to fix a part, and they have to re appraise. So riddle me this, why didn't someone checked for changes prior to me rushing from work and spending over an hour there on a Friday night. Really?!?

Awesome Experience!

This is not your typical car dealership! Mark was our sales guy and he made our experience so awesome! No pressure just personable, knowledgeable and professional. Next we met with Travis, the manager, and I have to say he went above and beyond to get us into our car! He is awesome and well deserving of his position. We met with other members as well and all I can say is this is an awesome group of guys! Our car is beautiful and all we could ask for! Thank you guys so much for this great experience! We would recommend you to anyone looking to buy a car!

approved for what?

Got approved online so made an appointment when I got there I let him know I didn't know who my appointment was and he said I'll look up your information he did not go get neither of the men that I was expecting to have the appointment with and also he had no personality didn't smile, not sure if he's new but he clearly needs training in how to be a salesman . he ran my numbers and told me I needed to put down $5000 on a $12,000 vehicle because of the money that I make every month and then when it wasn't something I wanted to do he suggested completely other types of vehicles no options or ways to work with me on the car I wanted. and what I was looking for A van or car when I was looking at an SUV and then tried to get me to put somebody on the loan and that's exactly what I told him I didn't want to do and then he tried to get me to do leasing I left there unhappy with no vehicle I'll be doing my searching elsewhere and business as wellnot even sure why I even got approved for but to me it just seems like a scam to get me in there

THE place to go

Had an amazing first experience here! I had Sherlan, who was amazing. Very friendly and was on it. He did a good job on making me feel comfortable and helping me make the right decisions. George, Ryan, and Travis helped me close on the deal as well. Actually, the whole team here is great, all the guys are awesome and it's good to see people who have fun but are very efficient on the job. I couldn't be happier with my car, and I can't thank these guys enough. Didn't think it was possible to get a car considering my credit score, but I made the right choice coming here. Thanks a million, Drivetime.
