HORRIBLE

I bought a van from this dealership. They had to install a GPS unit from the finance company. It was installed wrong, I was left with a giant bill. I purchased a vehicle on 3/2020 from Frontline motors. They could not give us the vehicle the day of purchase because they had to wait for a GPS unit to arrive in order for them to install it. Once it was installed, we went and picked it up. A few weeks later we started to notice it was being hesitant when starting but due to COVID-19 we were not going very many places and I was hospitalized due to a difficult pregnancy, the van did sit at our house for a few months. When I was able to drive again around June 2020, it would still be the difficult start. I told my husband. We had to save for a few months because we thought it was the starter of the vehicle and we would know that it would be an expensive cost due to the vehicle being a Volkswagen. We knew the parts were more expensive and we knew it had to be towed. We bought a AAA membership of $70 because it was a lower cost to have that membership then to pay for a regular tow to a shop which would have been $90-$100. We were trying to save money in all places because my husband had no job during COVID-19 because of COVID-19 so we were scrimping and saving everywhere we could. We got the vehicle towed to the closest AAA location not effected by COVID-19. They did diagnostic testing and went over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb. They discovered that the wiring done from installing the GPS unit back in March was done incorrectly and it looked like someone tried to bypass the relay of the wiring causing the wiring to malfunction - so someone tampered with the wiring. This is what was causing the vehicle to not always start when it was supposed to start. When we found out that this was the issue we tried to call and email Frontline Motors for months and they did not seem to care. They were about 45 minutes away from our location and we did not initially think that this was an issue caused by the GPS installed from the dealership that has stated they have done this many times. They dealership did not care to contact us after multiple emails and phone calls to them. They ignored us completely. I have many emails, the receipt, the full diagnostic report attached to all of the emails I sent Frontline Motors. All we wanted was the bill paid for the repair of the damage they have done. We had to save for months to pay for this large expense that they caused and they don't even care. They claim to be such an amazing company with amazing customer satisfaction but I have never experienced such horrible customer experience before. We just want them to fix their mistake. They admit they are the ones that put the GPS in but they can not admit that they could have done it incorrectly once and wrong the mistake they made. I would never EVER return there to buy a vehicle. They are a complete sham. They lied when and said I never contacted them when I have emails with dates and their email addresses on them to prove it and I have phone records with their phone number. This will be posted on every website that I can to warn future shoppers about buying a car from them unless they right the wrong they have done with my family.

Beaware

BEAWARE **************** I brought a car from this place on a Saturday from the salesperson Bryan. The ad for the vehicle stated “nice car” never mentioned ANY problems. Saturday night I noticed the car only had one functioning Break Light. Sunday morning noticed one headlight was not working. Monday morning I called about the issue. YES NORTH CAROLINA IS A “as is” STATE. Does not give the right for a dealership to sell someone a LEMON. Monday night the check engine light came on. Tuesday morning FrontLine “fixed it”. On Tuesday night the check engine light came back on. Wednesday morning I took my car to a Real Dealership for a Diagnostic Test, test results came back there is a minor leak in my “transmission” which the factory does not make anymore. Asked frontline to see the owner of the business about the problems, he was NEVER available. Finally on Thursday another issue occurred. Basically this is the WORST CAR DEALERSHIP IN THE CLAYTON AREA TO BUY A CAR “SAID THE CAR PASSED EXPECTATION “ DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE
