Worst car experience I have had in my life!
Put $500 down on credit card. Told us to come in and get car. At 10am 3/24/23 they were calling to see what time we would be there so all paperwork would be ready. We show up on time, take car for test drive. Go in, to what we think was to sign the paperwork, they tell us they don't have the TITLE to the vehicle. We leave $7500. Plus the $500 from cc. Suggest that they supply us with a loaner or something to drive until they get title figured out..nothing! This was a Friday. Tell us they will know Monday. That night, they upped the price $1500 on Cars.com.. Monday they send us a new car to consider that is $7000. Yes, seven thousand more than the one we were there to purchase with 2 years less warranty. Jokers. And then on Tuesday they say it may take another week to find out about the title. We drove 3 hours rt to get the car and the salesman, Zach, said "oh, we will pay you for your gas" which they never did. What about my time they wasted..can't get time back! We purchased a car elsewhere. No monkeybusiness involved. Nobody I tell this saga to can believe it. Unbelievable, worst car experience I have ever had in my life!

A Clown Show on Silver Spring. Avoid Umansky to avoid headaches. Terrible customer service. Similar bad experiences in piurchases. Prior to Umansky buying the dealer, we had bought numerous cars over a 20 year period.

Initial sales experience went smoothly.
Initial sales experience went smoothly. We were treated well by the sales staff. After we signed the papers and traded in my car, we left w/o the new car due to the financing not processing on a Friday afternoon. Following Monday was a federal Holiday so did not expect to get the car. Continued to experience delays with loan paperwork due to errors on the paperwork submitted by the dealership (wrong license #, wrong VIN #, mismatched loan/contract amounts, wrong paperwork to the lender). After several hours of phone calls with the lender, 30+ emails and almost 2 weeks since first signing the paperwork the car was delivered. Looked at it on Friday the 17th, didn't receive until Wednesday the 29th. Not only did we experience issues due to the loan processes going so poorly, we only received communication if we reached out. The sales rep and finance person both tested positive for COVID after we met them, and we were not informed of this until almost a week later, after we had reached out for another status update and ended up connecting with another person. Blame was placed on the finance lender, who we have experience with car loans in the past. When the car was delivered, the was no owner manual and the tire pressure was low on one tire. This was brought to the attention of the sales person while I test drove. Very stressful situation. In the end we did get the car, albeit over a week later than we should have. Would not recommend.

To start off, I show up for my appointment- that I even had a text reminder from them in my phone and they have no record of my appointment. I came in because I was having an issue with my power steering, when they called me with the quote I approved the service however they told me they needed to order a part and it would be 1 to 2 weeks! And I needed to pick up my broken, unsafe car that can barely turn and drive it home! Like, what? What shop sends you home with a broken car and says you have to wait weeks for parts? So I waited over two weeks and called back since I had yet to hear from them and was told they would “look into it” I got a voice mail from Joe saying that he would call me back tomorrow once he checked on the part. Do you think he did? No. It’s been another week and still no word from him. They leave you stranded with a broken car. I want to trade my car in now and guess where I won’t be going to do so? They have lost my business forever. This is completely unacceptable.

Tire issues
My 2019 Tiguan had a flat. I brought it in and Anne took my tire. She said if I got one it would be 211. She didn’t keep my car with the donut so I left. I called looking for a cheaper tire she recommended not to get one. So I came back to get my tire and they had already switched it out. That would’ve been great if I asked her to service it. Then nobody was even available to put it on my car. I had to pay another shop to do it. I much rather would’ve went the cheaper route with the tire I ordered and letting firestone put it on. $206 was waaaay to much for a service I didn’t ask for that they couldn’t even fully complete.

VW Touareg 2017
Rodents chewed on my wiring while the car was parked outside. Umansky diagnosed the problem and everything seems to be working properly now. The service advisor Joe was friendly and professional. I received a loaner car. I’m highly satisfied with my experience.

100,000 mile check up
100000 check up to make sure my car is taken care of. Went to dealer and paid more for the expected quality. Was called when car was ready. Went to pick up 3 hrs after call. Checked out and waited 30 min for car to be pulled around. Got in car and got onto freeway. Tire light went on. Stopped at Costco on way home and they had to add air to all tires. Called and asked if that was what was supposed to be checked. Man I spoke to said yes but that it must not have gotten done. I questioned why and he said he must have forgot. After paying $470 for maintenance and oil change.. and something was just forgotten.... Costco filled my tires for free!!! No apology from dealership just forgot!
