I had a deeply disappointing experience at Orr Kia

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Orr Kia Motors. Despite being told I was approved for a car loan, the staff repeatedly withheld crucial information, misled me about meeting with the owner, and continuously asked for more documentation without clear reasons. My visits on August 2, 3, and 5, 2024, were filled with unprofessional behavior, including staff laughing at my frustration. The lack of transparency, misleading communication, and overall mistreatment caused significant stress and inconvenience. I do not recommend Orr Kia Motors to anyone seeking a fair and honest car buying experience.

We apologize for your perception of the situation. You were approved for a vehicle, however you were unable to provide the documents the bank was requiring to process your loan. We are truly sorry we were not able to accommodate your purchasing needs. Unfortunately our hands are tied in these types of situations. When the bank is requiring documentation to proceed with a loan and the customer cannot provide them, there is nothing we can do on our side.

I am writing to address your response to my review. I want to clarify a few points: Submission of Documents: I provided all necessary documents required for the loan approval process. I personally contacted the bank, and they informed me that they had not received all the proof of income documents. Specifically, the bank told me exactly what was needed, including court documentation for the order, which was fine to send in as proof. I spoke with Nakeiya from Global Lending, and she confirmed that the only document you submitted was my business information and nothing else. Additionally, Ms. Nakeiya stated that Global Lending does not use business and self-employment income for auto financing, but court-ordered support is accepted, and I provided this court order to you. Communication Issues: Throughout this process, I repeatedly requested to speak with the General Manager or owner. Each time, I was met with evasive responses and false explanations about why my request could not be accommodated. This lack of transparency and accountability is deeply concerning. Customer Service: The treatment I received, including being given the runaround, was unprofessional and frustrating. It is disappointing to see a lack of effort in resolving my concerns, which only adds to the stress I have experienced. It is unfortunate that I have had to go through this ordeal. I believe that I was treated unfairly and that my documentation was not handled properly. This has led me to feel that there was an intentional effort to prevent me from obtaining the car. I hope this matter can be resolved fairly and transparently. I expect a prompt and honest resolution to this situation.

I found a Nissan Versa Note on True Car and bought it. I...

I found a Nissan Versa Note on True Car and bought it. I noticed a few dents on the hood but for a three year old car didn't think much of it mileage was low, the tires were good, front, back and sides were all ok except for a few dents. When I got the car home in a different light I noticed dents on the roof and realized the dents on the hood and roof were hail damage. I didn't check the roof since it was uniformly blue and roofs are rarely problem areas. I contacted the salesman who sold it and pointed out the True Car ad said nothing about hail damage and showed no pics of it and he said that was why they only charged 10,270. I don't consider that a good price for a hail damaged car. I will never buy a car from them again. Hail is a rarity in Shreveport. Not honest advertising.

Beware! They post very inexpensive used cars online. When you get there they refused to sell them to you and want to upsell you. When we spoke to the online sales person they were all about selling us the car said they would have it ready. I drove an hour to look at it. Then they tried to sell me a different vehicle when I said I wasn’t interested Doug the sales person said never mind and drove off of it and that was the end.

Attemtping to buy new car.

Family has purchased two vehicles in the last year from Orr of Shreveport and will attempt to purchase another if have opportunity although could not come to agreement on 2019 Kia Niro. Offered 5,000 less than sticker. Salesman Doug was straightforward and polite and stated he could only knock 3888 off vehicle and both parted ways with simple difference of opinion which was handled politely and appropriately.

Not good at all.

I'd love to leave a good review but I can't. I brought my car to them 2 months ago and they have yet to fix it. Every time I call to check up on it the service manager Beth is very rude. They never return my calls or every time I call they're to busy to speak with me. They aren't concerned with the fact that I have been without a car for this long and don't seem worried about how long they have had it. I do not recommend this place at all.. This is the worst experience I have ever had in my life with a dealership. If you're looking for a car go to Herbert's town in country in Shreveport and ask for rocky he will get you what you need in and out no doubt!
