Gunther Pre Owned Fort Lauderdale

The salesman Jonathan is bad he helped someone else and left me hanging. The manager thought he was selling new cars instead of used ! People be careful of this dealership

Purchased a vehicle from Gunther Mazda yesterday, they waited until the paperwork was signed to disclose that they only had one key for the vehicle. I had to purchase a key because they would not add it to the deal post purchase. On top of purchasing the key I will also have to schedule an appointment to program the key at a cost of over 100$ the key was 150$. Additionally looks like they swapped the rear tires on the vehicle with another on the lot because the vehicle has 14k miles and the two rear tires will need replacement ASAP. I looked at a different vehicle with higher miles and the tires were fine then they offered me a newer one w 14k miles so I didn’t think it was necessary to check the tires. The hood was dented and they offered to do PDR but couldn’t do it on the spot and they waited to disclose that part after purchase agreement was signed. I have to come back to finish detailing the vehicle and fix dent because they couldn’t do it on the spot. If you value your time go somewhere else. I could’ve bought another vehicle that I was looking at Greico Mazda but they swindled me with their promises and saving me the drive time. Don’t fall for their trap. I had a bad experience with the dealership years before and walked away then and I gave them another shot this time. Never again, take your business somewhere else.

Just a comment... How weird isn't it? After finishing my lease that I made in Gunther I am about to buy it but to use that right stipulated in the contract they require a review at a very high cost at my expense, but when I visited another VW dealer he informed me that if I had bought the car in your dealer shop would not have charged me anything for that process. Again... how weird isn't it?...

Great service...Tom was great to work with and was able to meet my needs and expectations. Financing was quick and easy. Spent a total of an hour in the whole process. Spent more time test driving and looking at the great selection of Mazdas.
