What sales person do you know that cuts their finger, runs to urgent care to get stitches and comes back to ensure I was all set to pick up my car. Have purchased many vehicles over the years; however, my recent experience purchasing a used vehicle at Volvo Cars of Exeter was extraordinary. Professional, knowledgable, & fair; courteous staff (Henri was great, with timely responses to outstanding questions); and attention to detail which went over and above expectations (i.e. cargo cover, floor mats, touch up on the hood, rear wiper, vehicle detail all taken care of) ~ the car sparkled when I arrived~! The smoothest & and most stress-free buying experience I've ever had~ a true example of a great car buying experience. My husband and I are in a position to purchase a tier 1 car. After doing months of research we decided on the Volvo XC60. We visited several dealerships and Volvo Cars of Exeter stood out as the best for our needs. We spoke with Oliver prior to our visit, so he knew what we were looking for. All 3 cars were parked in front of the dealership when we arrived. Oliver gave us an extremely good rundown on each of the vehicles we test drove. At the end of our test drives, there was no pressure to purchase the car that day. Rich Hamel, the sales manager, also came out to meet us. Again, no pressure to make up our minds. We got thank you emails from Oliver and Rich with more information on the vehicles we drove. We ended up purchasing a 2022 XC60 that was in transit. It arrived the day we decided to purchase and we picked it up 4 days later. The entire process was seamless-from negotiating the price with a trade in and the rebates we qualified for. Edwin in the business department was pleasant and not pushy when going over the additional options for the car. Oliver spent close to 2 hours going over all of the systems in the XC60. He even called us 2 days later to make sure we could use the computer system in the car. Rich also sent an email thanking us for our business. We recently purchased a vehicle at Volvo Cars of Exeter. Our experience was very positive. I’d particularly like to mention Sales Consultant Gael Hyppolite who was invariably professional, courteous, and helpful. Finance Manager Leo Araujo also was very well organized and helpful. Of particular importance to us - especially in the COVID winter of 2021-2022 was the fact that all of the employees were wearing masks. This not only demonstrates care for employees and customers, it reflects the Volvo commitment to safety. Thank you for that extra care, a positive experience, and a great car. We would return!

Excellent experience at this dealership. I was greeted promptly, offered a test drive on the vehicle I was interested in, and then had very brief and pleasant negotiation on the car. Both Mark, the Salesman, and Adam, the Sales Manager were excellent to deal with. I felt valued and treated with respect. The dealership was very clean and comfortable.

This was my first experience buying a car at a dealership and it couldn't have been any better. My salesman Oliver was most helpful and very transparent. I like the fact it was a family run business. I would definitely recommend them as well as go back there of purchase my next vehicle.

Our experience with Exeter Volvo (and previously Wentworth Motors) over the past 18 years has been excellent. We just purchased our fourth new Volvo here and the the team here at Volvo Cars of Exeter is the most professional and friendly we have encountered in our 53 years of car buying. Having owned 3 Volvo’s before (240, 740, 850) we were not surprised by the quality of our new XC60, which is a dream to drive. We kept our Volvo 850 for 25 years and we will be pleased to drive our new Volvo until we can no longer drive safely.
