Buying a car is almost always a stressful event.

Buying a car is almost always a stressful event. For most of us, it's our second largest purchase after our homes. That said, I can't overstate how stress-free and pleasurable it was to work with McDonald Mazda West for the purchase of our new Mazda. This especially goes for our salesman Santiago B. We started the transaction as strangers and I dare say we ended it as friends. He was patient and informative with no pressure. His boss Joe M. was also a pleasure to work with on the purchase. McDonald is not a "no-negotiation" dealership. That said, the negotiations were easy. Recognizing they're a business that deserves a profit, we set forth several reasonable negotiation points and all were accepted. I believe we got a better price that what we would have paid at a fixed price dealership. They even threw in a couple of "above and beyond" gestures. We couldn't be more pleased and look forward to servicing our new Mazda with them. The dealership is bright, white, clean with a nice waiting area and some pretty good snacks!

I had a truly frustrating experience at McDonald West

I had a truly frustrating experience at McDonald West Mazda on Colfax that left me feeling taken advantage of and suffering from intense migraines! Manipulation's & mysterious fees that I had never of. I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of McDonald West Mazda. They embody everything that is wrong…Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere!

I have been to this dealership several times over the years and i have always a good experience working with their staff. Many years ago and a little this time with Tracy. Most recently I worked with Danyal who was also great during the whole process. Highly suggest Danyal and this dealership for buying your next Mazda. Will be recommending him and Mazda West tonour friends.

Update 1/20/2023: Still haven't received my title. All I get is the stock "I'm sorry" from the GM on my review. The "please feel free to contact me" is a joke. Only doing this for show because people read these reviews. I DID contact you! By email. The very same email that your sales manager, assistant sales manager and finance guy got. ZERO response. But please, tell me how sorry you are online. You have my name and number (check your email again). You should be contacting ME! This is a violation of law.

An Amazing Car Buying Experience

My wife and I recently purchased a new car from McDonald Mazda in Lakewood. I’ve purchased 7 cars in my lifetime from dealerships, and this was by far the easiest and most satisfying car purchase I’ve ever made. Customer service was EXCELLENT, and even the finance manager (Johnny) was super easy to work with and not pushy at all. I was so surprised at how open and transparent everyone was with buying a car. AND it didn’t take countless hours to make the purchase. Yaay!! Our salesperson was named Santiago, and he was extremely helpful in answering our questions, and showing us all the details about the car we ended up buying. I was expecting some type of dealer fine print to pull the rug from under us, or some excuse about why the price was going to be higher, but everything was clear and accurate (I like to research cars before I even go to a dealership to look at them). We got way more than I expected for our trade-in, we were able to take advantage of Mazda’s financing deal AND special discounts, and Santiago even took our photo with the new car once we were done (and put it in a frame for us). Seriously?! I’ve NEVER had a dealer/salesperson come anywhere close to this level of customer service. 10-stars for McDonald Mazda, Santiago, and Johnny. You know they made a lasting impression because we still remember their names a month after buying our car! :-)

Good Service and a Bonus

After finding a 2013 Mini on Cars.com, I messaged the dealer. They responded quickly. I booked an appointment and met with Tracy. She treated me well, and over the next 2 weeks I decided to buy the car. Though this is a Mazda dealership, they knew the car well. Even better, they told me how I could make my payments to reduce the interest I would pay on the vehicle. This was a real bonus, saving me thousands of dollars during the life of the loan. The day after I drove it home, it broke down. It would not start. I took it back to the dealer and they fixed it straight away. They did not even ask me to do any paperwork. It was a relay that happened to malfunction, and their guy that "talked Mini" fixed it.

Customer Service Personnel: Blaise

Do NOT connect with Blaise (woman) for any customer service. She lied TO MY FACE about what had been completed on inspections of my vehicle. The gentleman that worked on my vehicle told me he NEVER completed the work that Blaise had described. She lies to get the customer out the door. Please see Cedric for any help required. He seems to know everything.
