My name is Joey Jiahao Gu.
My name is Joey Jiahao Gu. I bought a used 2013 Subaru legacy 2.5i from this dealership on August 22nd. I paid 7000$ cash. I trusted them so so much at that time that I didn’t even doubt this car could have any problems. Based on all the positive comments and reputations. But now I am so so regretful. Because I recently took this car to do a full service and full inspection, they told me I need a new engine and transmission. This car is a piece of metal junk right now. I asked the guy who sold me the car and he said this car has no problem before I purchased it. So when we buy a used car, we all know there will be some problems, but as long as the engine and transmission are fine then it’s fine. I just graduated from college and I worked in the subway for a year just to have enough money to afford my first car. The car I love, the car that can shelter me and take me home and work. I almost cried when I thought about all my hard work was for nothing but a broken heart. I have debt and rent to pay. There’s no way that I can afford another vehicle. I can’t even make it home on Thanksgiving. I sent this to their official email address yesterday, but I haven’t received anything yet. I also sent this situation to the salesperson, and he asked me how I want it to be handled and that he will try to help me. I didn’t call them today, because I know they are with their family. I will keep updating you about how they handle this situation and I hope my experience will help you decide if you should buy a car from this dealership, whether it’s a new car or a used car. No one wants to do business with dishonest and irresponsible dealers. Update regarding their service. The answer is nope, still unsolved :( They have been trying to convince me to trade in for another used vehicle, asking me how much can i pay, and what's my credit Bla bla bla. But I am not that stupid. I'm not risking any more money on this dealer unless they give me an explanation or a guarantee. So it seems like this is the only solution they can offer. I don't know what to say about it. it feels like I'm begging for it. I don't know how and why I don't have any options but signing is a contract. why would people still want to buy used vehicles from this dealer? it costs more but has terrible quality and service. They don't care about a broke-xxx person like me. They would rather provide better service to whos buying brand new f150. Then why TF didn't tell me this car needs repair before selling and selling this 2013 Subaru with 190000 miles used car at 6000 dollars? I was being too naive. I seriously doubt they were hiding the car's condition from me. If you are looking for a used vehicle. I'll suggest you buy it from a local used market because they care about their used car business. This dealer is too busy making big money in the new car business. this is such an expensive lesson for me. Please take my advice and think twice before you buy. Because I don't want to see your car break down in just 3 months!!!

So I live in Wyandotte, and planned to turn in a 2019
So I live in Wyandotte, and planned to turn in a 2019 F150 lease and lease a 2022 Edge...BUT even though every South East Michigan Ford Dealer website shows 15 to 35 Edges, not one of them has them, they're all in transit or spoken for!...until I spotted an "in stock" White with Dune interior SEL at LaFontaine Flushing BUT I mistakenly called the Birch Run location and their salesperson, Madison Tuttle, took it from there, she called and confirmed it existed, made all the arrangement with documentation and prep, clarified what was necessary on my end then arranged a pick up date with me. All said and done she got me into the Edge I wanted with all incentives and offers, all hassle free. Even though I drove near 4 hours there and back, she and LaFontaine Birch Run pulled off what 6 dealers near my house couldn't!

On July 13th, I brought my 1987 Mustang into LaFontaine
On July 13th, I brought my 1987 Mustang into LaFontaine because it had an oil leak and I wanted to make sure that there wasn’t an oil pressure problem since the gauge registered low pressure. I received a message saying that repairs needed to be made and amounted to $1329.54. I gave the verbal OK for the work to be done which included changing the water pump and the valve cover gaskets. When I picked up my Mustang my oil pressure gauge was still registering low pressure so I made another appointment for July 29 to have it explained to me. Your staff assured me that the oil pressure was OK but I was still confused as to why the gauge was not registering oil pressure. After checking with several other mechanics I had the sending unit replaced and that fixed the problem so that the gauge is registering oil pressure. All of the mechanics I’ve talked to have asked me why I was not offered the old water pump and why I was not told the reason the water pump needed to be replaced. It was not overheating and it was not making any noises. I realize that I do not know much about engines but the three mechanics I have talked to all agree that I should have been given a valid reason for replacing the water pump and that the charge was excessive. The sending unit was an easy fix and it only cost me $60. I think it’s important that LaFontaine be informed. Integrity and reputation are important for the success of any business. I certainly don’t appreciate being taken advantage of.
