I’ve never felt more disrespected by car dealership as a

I’ve never felt more disrespected by car dealership as a customer. Koch 33 Toyota reached out to me and sent me an offer to buy my vehicle. The offer looked very fair at first. When I spoke to the representative on the phone, I addressed my concerns that I would have a 1 1/2 hour drive there and I don’t want to waste anyones time and end up with an unreasonable offer upon arrival. She assured me that they were looking for my specific vehicle and they would honor my offer if not increase it. I was definitely skeptical but decided to take a chance and drive down. A salesman took my keys/info and decided to have a 10 minute conversation with another sales rep before finding the “appraiser”. After about a 30 minute wait, the salesman came back and stated they didn’t want my vehicle. I asked why and they stated “he felt a little issue with the transmission”. I asked the salesman to take me over to the appraiser so I can speak to him. (This is when the real disrespect started). I asked the appraiser (Keith Doddy) what was going on and he rudely said “yeah I dont want it I don’t like the transmission”. I asked if he would take me for a test drive so I can see the issue he was describing. In an even ruder statement he then said “bud I’m busy I cant do that”. I replied with you guys made me an offer and asked me to come here, I just drove an hour and a half to be here and you can’t even show me the issue? He then dramatically grabbed his coat and headed for the door. We jumped in the vehicle and proceeded for test drive number two. While on the test drive he tried to re-create this fabricated issue. When it never happened, he then stated “oh well maybe its warm now”. I literally drove the car for the last hour and a half and the thermostat never moved from the beginning of this “appraisal” to the end. We arrived back at the dealership and he jumped out, headed for the door, and said “yeah not interested”. Probably top 5 most disrespectful encounters in my entire life. This is how Koch 33 Toyota treats their “valued customers”. Please beware with your dealings with this dealership. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is how they treat customers that might have issues with vehicles they have sold. Shame on Koch 33 Toyota. Couldn’t be more disappointed. For context, I took my vehicle to 5 other dealerships the same day and not a single one said there was an issue with the transmission or drivetrain. Didn’t even offer me an apology or any compensation for my time/gas burned for the trip. Please please please be aware.

Customer service & sales team seemed fantastic!

Customer service & sales team seemed fantastic! The dealership was very welcoming & accomodating to buy! Fair price for the vehicle, and happy with the warranty and perks for purchasing a vehicle from them. I had made the commitment to purchasing this vehicle 1 week prior to coming in to pick it up. But that vehicle was not ready for me to drive off the lot when I walked in. Considering they had a full week to have this vehicle ready, it should've been easily ready before I got there for my well in advance scheduled purchase & pickup date. This caused me to be an hour late to work, causing chaos for my work schedule that day. UPDATE: this car garage puts on China made tires that are UNSAFE to drive on! Then the sales manager has the nerve to tell me that rubber is made the same in China as it is in America, that alot of Pa is going away from cement roads, and that they always put good parts on any vehicle that they sell. FACT CHECK: 25% of PA freeways are made entirely of cement & 59% are a hybrid of cement & asphalt. China made tires have a reputation of being made with poorer rubber components, performance issues, and are not as safe as American made tires. Stop trying to lie to women and think that we're gullible! How wonderful is it to purchase a vehicle with good tread depth, but such terribly made tires that I NEED to purchase much better tires for ASAP? If it is important to you to have good quality tires on the used vehicle you purchase, keep that in mind with this dealership. I've taken my car back to there. The sales manager might as well laugh in my face. These tires are by far the worst tires I've ever driven on! I can't drive safely in pouring down rain or on cement roads to the point I try to rearrange my schedule as much as possible to not be out driving in heavy rain. These tires slip, lose traction, hydroplane, and I've been down to 35 mph on the interstate over how bad these tires are. I always buy good tires, and expect a dealership claiming they have such a good reputation, to put good quality tires on their vehicles. I am at risk of these terrible tires causing an accident.

The accounts guy teared apart documents and threw it to

The accounts guy teared apart documents and threw it to the trash when we didn't take additional protection for the car. So mean. They are very rude if you don't buy additional services from them, despite paying for the basic costs.

I didn't want to have to leave this review, however I had

I didn't want to have to leave this review, however I had no choice. I purchased a 2015 Subaru Forester eleven months ago. The vehicle started having electrical issues. Because I didn't purchase a three thousand dollar warranty, the dealer now wants to charge me 190 to check the vehicle. The vehicle that I already got checked out by 2 other mechanics. The lights went on to show it's a transmission problem. Yet, the vehicle runs fine other then the lights. I found out through another mechanic, this vehicle model, within a certain year range, are know to have these electrical issues. We pointed that out, yet manager told me that was life, cars break. They sold me a lemon, someone knows it, and they refused to help us out with an equal trade. I get it, I didn't get a warranty. But really, instead the manager tried to sell me a 30,000 truck when I asked for a comparable truck. Then gave me an estimate of 6,000 for my car trade-in, if I went that route. But yes, he didn't have the car yet, so he was gaslighting me ahead of time, by reminding me that the car was not looked at yet, when he low balled me again later. When leaving, he chased us to car to try to convince (with the paperwork) me to purchase a 24,000 vehicle. Meanwhile preventing another guy, who was obviously unhappy, from getting into his vehicle where the wife was waiting. Guess he also got low balled or now owns a lemon. Meanwhile the tow guy looks at it and says it's not a transmission problem. I'm so freaking frustrated and will never give this dealer my business again. I didn't care who was at that desk. I told him as a business owner, if I mess up I make it up to my clients. Then had to listen to he's memorized robotic words about how, if I get a more expensive vehicle, I'll be covered with a warranty. Wait what happened to the lemon you sold me, the real reason why I'm here. Well , we will give you 6000 for that, no problem he says, I paid 15, 11 months ago. But we need to see the vehicle. But you must tow it here...wait that was the receptionist who is never at the desk by the way. Well, the vehicle finally died right before we had a chance to drive it there. Car must not like them either. Anyway, when I told him and his salesman, at least twice, I was not interested in spending all that extra money...then had to hear about the interest rate and loan. Hopefully this prevents others from making the same mistake I did. If the car has higher mileage, don't bother with a warranty, move on somewhere else, because that warranty may only cover that 1st vehicle issue. Let's not forget if you would finance a car and slap on a warranty that adds more interest on to the loan. They overprice lemons and hope you get a warranty. Then hope ladies just go with his sales pitch and fork out more cash. Guess someone needs to go back to management school. Better Business Bureau next..... Namaste.

Stay away from servicr

I’m changing my rating. Overtime the service has fell short. The 22 Tundra I purchased had a recall. After taking it off, I was never contacted once the remedy was available. The remedy was out in August. After I called service to follow up, I decided to call Toyota Corporate to find out. After calling, the representative was just as surprised as me that they did not reach out to fix the concern as the remedy was out. After reaching out and scheduling to come in, I was told that there was damage done to the Tonneau cover clips and straps that is not covered and to call Toyota Customer Care to figure out what to do. As I called Toyota Customer Care, I was again met with confusion on why I was directed this way when the recall clearly states under remedy “Any Authorized Toyota dealer based in an inspection, will repair or replace the tonneau cover FREE OF CHARGE”. When I called the service department to follow up and discuss this but was met with “your service advisor has left for the day” and when I asked for the service manager “she’s in a meeting”. I said I’d meet with her when I come in. I came in and was told that someone was in her office. I said okay. I’ll wait. Currently, at the time of the review, I have been waiting for 1 hour. This is great customer service by the service department. Once my prepaid service is done I’m staying far FAR away from this service department. If I were you, I’d do the same.

Great Job Megan

My wife and I completed a purchase of a 2024 Tundra 1794 Hybrid. Our sales consultant was Megan Pritchard. Megan was fully versed in the features and benefits of the Tundra models. She was quick to respond and followed up with accurate information. Yes , all sales reps should have these traits, but many don't. Great vehicle, Koch 33 matched and exceeded the Costco car service.

Shady xxx service department

Worst service department ever. It’s like the “Service Advisors” are only concerned with protecting Ford. They deflect, deny, refuse to take responsibility. They WILL charge you $ for parts covered under warranty. They WILL downplay issues and try and drag out repairs
