Horrible Dishonest Service

I had two recent experiences that convinced me never to work with this dealership again. The first was early this year (2019) when I had new tires put on my 2013 Civic. I negotiated with the dealer for a reasonable price and had the installation done. Two month later one of my tires began to leak regularly. I return to the service station and asked them to investigate. They claimed have done an inspection and that there was no issue. They put air in the tire, and I was on my way. A few days later I was again struck with the same low pressure in the tire. They inspected again and this time determined that the tire was not properly installed, and the leak was due to this issue. They fixed the issue and then proceeded to charge me for the fix, even though they were responsible for the faulty install. They were not willing to stand by their service and were unconvinced to waive the fee even though they were responsible for the original bad installation. The second time I dealt with the service center was to get extended warranty service for a bad original paint job on my 2013 Civic. They were not my first choice, but I needed to go through a Honda dealer, and they are the most convenient location for me. I tried multiple times with multiple calls to the office to get the paperwork done to get the warranty work done. Three weeks later the warranty request still has not been submitted to Honda. The phone rep, Jeannine Belanger, was extremely rude and condescending on the phone with every call. Ken Crawford who took the original pictures never followed through with the process. James McIntyre was rude and dismissive every time I came in the shop to ask for help. Mike Segien couldn't be bothered to return a single call or follow up in any manner. The dealer is fine for a simple oil change, if you come in knowing what you need, but beyond that the team does not want to be bothered with any work that might not be profitable to them. They do shoddy work and inspections. They are very pushy on the upsell of unnecessary flushes and "recommended service" that anyone with a basic knowledge of automobiles knows is garbage. I would not recommend them in any fashion.

Very informed and helpful without being pushy

My sales associate, Al Lepler, was very informed about the Honda CRV. He was friendly and laid back and didn't push me like some salesman do. I think I got a good deal and was very happy with my experience at Dover Honda.

Dover is Great!

This dealership is 45min away from my home and I have purchased two new vehicles. I have a Honda dealer less than 5 min away and I will always be back. The price service and friendliness is unparalleled.

knowledgeable Sales man

Cody, my salesman was very upbeat and new the CR-V I bought inside and out! I also got great help from Bill Johnson in service, my go to man!!!

Fine experience at Dover Honda

Bob Drake listened carefully to our needs and helped us choose a great CR-V. We are not connected to any other dealer. Everyone at Dover Honda was very friendly, and we did not do a lot of waiting around.

Great lease experience

I was debating leasing another car. Everyone I dealt with listened to my needs and steered me toward the vehicle and deal that best suited my needs. Bob Drake in particular helped. Bob and Tony letting me mull over my decision for a day was a deal maker for me. I love the Civic Sport Bob steered me to.

Used car nightmare

Found a vehicle i liked on cargurus, came in for a ride salesman was nice. Ended up haggling a little and getting a price i found reasonable. Asked a about a few know issues the model has, and was assured it wasn't an issue with this car. Turns out the exact thing i asked about was and issue. Ended up bringing it back, and was charged a deductible to fix it, after over a week in the shop, they didn't fix anything, i fact the issue was worse; and couldn't get a hold of them for anything. Ended up it was a CPO car (they didn't tell me that, trying to sell me on their own plan i guess) , so Lincoln was able to fixed it for another deductible. Have had the car 6 months now, been in the shop 3 times, and i replaced the battery, Dover did agree to pay that. But but true disappointment, is I found out the car had been in a previous accident, that they never told me about, wasn't on the carfax they showed me, and now the vehicle is worth way less as a trade or sale than i thought. I feel like they just flip used cars and put the min effort into them, maybe the car more about Hondas, but i wouldn't buy a used car from them, without getting your own carfax or taking it to a private mechanic.

AWESOME, but could use improvement

Sales Consultant, Karen Campbell, was awesome when I recently leased a new Honda CR-V. She spent a considerable amount of time with me, and I didn't feel rushed in making my decision whatsoever. But the amount of time I spent at the dealership for receiving financing, signing papers, etc. was ATROCIOUS! (better part of nearly 4 hrs just sitting and waiting). This was my 3rd lease vehicle here, not to mention 2 out-right purchased vehicles in the last 13 yrs. I have a credit score of 882 so there should have been no issues to delay acquiring the vehicle. I am grateful that no one tried to sell me an extended warranty this time, as I have been less than happy about my prior purchases of that entity, because no one in the service department has ever seemed to understand what this is and what is actually covered by it. I have been a "Honda girl " for a long time and still love their vehicles. But I sincerely hope my next experience won't take so long in financing. Thank you to both Tony and Karen for acknowledging their appreciation for my continued business as well.

great experience at Dover Honda

I have always been a Toyota fan but wanted to check out the Honda and I was glad I did. Buying it was not my plan but I was impressed with the CR-V and Cody Davenport our salesman did a great job taking the time to go over the vehicle and Paula Redden did a great job with pricing. Oh ya there also was the music and clapping of hands every time a vehicle was sold. I counted 5 times while I was there. I am glad I went.

Grand Ol' Times At Dover Honda

Our lease on our 2016 CR-V was coming to an end in September so Paula gave us a call to see if we wanted to come in early and get into a new vehicle. We came in with the intent of leasing another CR-V. After exploring our options and a comedy filled test drive with Kris we ultimately we decided on an sharp HR-V Sport. Paula and Kris did everything in their power to get us the features we wanted and a payment we were happy with. Marsha did a splendid job of getting us through the paperwork and was a pleasure to deal with. I don't typically write reviews that are all sunshine and lollipops but the team at Dover Honda is a delight. This is our 2nd time working with Dover Honda and we'll most certainly be back for our next lease.
