Ford truck 150

Bought a truck with high mileage. Drove it one hour and noticed a slipping sound from transmission. They told me to bring it back Monday and they would look at it. Sat from 9-12:30. Went back and service told me they thought they would have to open the transmission to see what was wrong and they would get back to me in 2 days. Called me back in several hours and said the only thing they were willing to do is change transmission fluid. I noticed the sound going up hill on down shift. When you test drive there are no hills.

Rude To Customer Durning Telephone Conversation

I was on a head on collison and my Jeep with 12000 miles was totaled. I searched all over and couldn't find any where to purchase another one to replace it than at last I found one at this place and had to drive a hour to purchase it.Staff were very professional and polite and easy to deal with however, they financed me through Chrysler Capitol which has the highest interest rate and I have a credit score over 800. Since I live so far away I asked about service if needed it. I was told I could go to any Jeep dealership no problem. In one month I needed service so I went to a local dealership the part I needed was on back order it ender up taking over 2 months to repair my vechicle. I called Portgage Jeep just to let them know about the problem I was having with my new vechicle and the person I was speaking to was very rude, I was told I should have bought vechicle to them or should have traded it for another vechicle. I ended up calling Chrysler and complaining about them after this I received a call back from them asking how things were going with my new jeep,I will never do business with them again.

Great Experience!

I had a great experience here!! I had Mary Beth as my salesperson, and I could not have asked for a more friendly, easy-going, and knowledgeable representative. There were no pushy sales techniques, just great service from a friendly team, all willing to help out at every point. I knew I wasn't buying the most expensive or fanciest car on the lot, but Mary Beth and the rest of the team still made me feel important and valued. The whole process was just relaxed, efficient and quite enjoyable. We're actually heading back this weekend to potentially buy a new car for my hubby as well. I would give them 6 stars if I could!

Sold truck from under us after we had agreement

Horrible dealer. I made an agreement to purchase a truck on a Saturday. I asked if they needed a down payment to hold the vehicle until I could pick it up on Tuesday, and the salesperson Wade assured me that would not be necessary. I obtained financing and had cashiers checks printed to the dealer name as specified by Wade. He then texted me Monday evening saying they had sold the truck and he was sorry, there is nothing they could do. Very poor business practice. They also charge ridiculous "doc" fees and a bogus "anti theft" fee to the tune of nearly $800.00. Do your research and buy somewhere else.

Unethical and Unprofessional

Horrible dealer. We spoke to Wade and made an agreement to purchase a truck on a Saturday. We asked if they needed a down payment to hold the vehicle until we could pick it up on Tuesday, and he assured us that would not be necessary. We obtained financing and had cashiers checks printed to the dealer name as specified by Wade. We were going to drive up earlier (Monday) but Wade wasn't in the office and wanted us to wait. He then texted Monday evening saying they had sold the truck and he was sorry, there is nothing they could do. Extremely unprofessional and unethical to sell the truck out from under us. They also charge ridiculous "doc" fees and a bogus "anti theft" fee to the tune of nearly $800.00. After speaking to a sales manager, they said they would call back to discuss this. We have not heard from anyone at the dealership, including Wade. Do your research and buy somewhere else.

There's nothing wrong with your Fusion sir.

I would like to suggest the most optimal method for having your vehicle serviced at Portage Ford... DO NOT TAKE IT THERE! Do yourself a favor and take it to a Ford dealership that is qualified and knowledgeable. Might I suggest Gagne Ford in Princeton. In the 7 days following the purchase of my 2019 Fusion Hybrid, I had to jump the battery 5 mornings in order to get it started. That was after crawling through the back seats to release the trunk to access the battery which is located in the trunk. After a day and a half in the Portage service department I was told that there was nothing wrong with the car and that the likely cause was that either my wife or I had left something open or turned on in the car, despite the fact that I'm a mechanic myself and had tested the battery and informed them that the battery would not hold a charge. I begrudgingly took the car home knowing that there was still a problem and that I was leaving for vacation in a week. Over the next 6 days I had to jump start the car 4 more times and then just left it parked for the Labor day weekend. I called Portage Ford to inform them that in fact the battery was bad and they needed to warranty the battery. They declined and really had no interest in rectifying the problem now that the sale was complete. I then took the car to Gagne Ford in Princeton, WI here I explained the problem and my process for checking the battery which I determined was shot. A few hours later the service writer called and confirmed that I was correct. The battery was replaced and warrantied by Form Motor Company. All is well now and the vacation went without a hitch! Lesson learned... Never take it for granted that anyone knows how to do their job!

Unwelcome Feeling

Was told by the salesman that they wouldn’t do business with me and that I wasn’t allowed to get out of my current vehicle lease early. Also felt as if they were going out of business or something was happening to the dealership as the entire showroom was empty of cars and all but 2 desks in the place were completely empty.

Car was dirty and battery was dead

Even with 24 hour notice the car was dirty and battery was dead when I showed up. Add significant fees to what you see on this site on top of the standard ones like tax and title. Ive purchased many cars and never left with such a all around poor perception of a dealer as this one.
