I was looking for a a dependable used car and found my nephew found one on line at S& H that seemed to be just what I was looking for. We dealt with Phil Hall and he was very kind and accommodating and worked with me to give me the best deal he could with the least amount of interest. He was not too pushy, as most used car dealers and answered the questions I had with honesty. So far I I am very pleased with the car and feel confident in recommending this company to others.

My wife and I went to both of their lots the one in

My wife and I went to both of their lots the one in Roseland and Elkhart, and we had appointment to see a vehicle and we got there they already sold it , they're never called us or sent us a message either , then we had a appointment to pick up the Vehicle in Elkhart because we had a deal and they agreed to it and I even talked to them and they told us it was ours and we had a deal then they sent us a message and sorry we just sold it to someone else , so that is twice we had either appointment or a deal to purchase the vehicle and they sold it to someone else , so that says alot about their business practices they lie to you about everything, because in my opinion when you make a deal and a time to pick it up a deal is a deal , but not in their case

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mark at S&H

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mark at S&H Automotive when purchasing my Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From start to finish, Mark was a standout professional who made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Mark’s approach was both personable and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences, offering insightful advice without being pushy. His expertise was evident as he guided me through the various options, explaining the features and benefits of each model in detail. I never felt rushed or pressured; instead, Mark made sure I was fully informed and comfortable with my decisions. What truly set Mark apart was his genuine enthusiasm for the product and his commitment to customer satisfaction. He went above and beyond to ensure I found the perfect Jeep Grand Cherokee that fit both my lifestyle and budget. His attention to detail and dedication to making the sale a positive experience were evident throughout. Even after the purchase, Mark continued to be a valuable resource. He followed up to make sure everything was going well and answered any lingering questions I had about my new vehicle. This level of customer care is rare and greatly appreciated. If you’re in the market for a vehicle and want a salesperson who is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely interested in helping you find the right car, I highly recommend reaching out to Mark at S&H Automotive. Thanks to him, I’m thrilled with my new Jeep Grand Cherokee and couldn’t have asked for a better buying experience!

Bought a 2016 Ford escape in October 2023 Because we were told it had a new transmission in it. In the first month the Eco boost went out and they had to replace it. Six months later the transmission started to go and they said they had to replace the Eco boost again and they could not find paperwork that said they did it last year. So transmission and boost was going to cost $6500. Plus, the air conditioning was going out. Would never trust these guys again. They lie! I went elsewhere for my repairs.

Traded a 2016 Kia Sorento for a 2016 Suburban.

Traded a 2016 Kia Sorento for a 2016 Suburban. Dealership claimed their vehicles go through an inspection however when we got home we noticed the third row seat belts were slashed about 3/4 of the way through. The following day the service suspension light came on. About a week after the trade the torque converter failed and cost me $4,000 out of pocket. Now almost 30 days after the trade in my previous vehicle still hasn’t been paid off. So I’m stuck with two car payments and a vehicle in the shop. Was also told the vehicle was previously owned by an employee of the dealership however documents show it was last titled through an auto auction. Staff hasn’t been helpful in the slightest. Definitely wouldn’t recommend

I contacted quite a few dealers while looking for the car

I contacted quite a few dealers while looking for the car I wanted and didn’t get a response from any of them. S & H was the only one that gave me the time of day. I’d never even heard of S& H until I saw the Lexus I was looking for on Cars.com. In the end I didn’t make a purchase. But they treated me nice. I’ll probably buy something from them in the future. Thank you Jenny! Your boss should know you did a good job!

Don't waste your time

Simply untrustworthy, yes they have good prices but that quickly diminishes once you sign the papers. Vehicle was not properly detailed and within two weeks of purchase the water pump went out on our vacation. Had it fixed on the trip only to be told when we got back that S&H would of looked at it but since it was fixed "oh well". All we were looking for is a possible reimbursement for the pump, which we brought back with us. Spend alittle more and shop at a reputable dealership.

Dealer response

Brian, did you file a claim with the warranty? Most of our vehicles come with a 3 month 3k mile powertrain warranty and that could be a covered component.

Worst Auto Experience Ever

First, I inquired about a Chevrolet 2500HD Duramax 4x4 over the phone. I explained it was critical I have a good understanding of the vehicle before making the 2.5 hr drive to look at it. I was told during a safety inspection it threw a fault code for the number 2 injector and that was the only known problem. I arrive and they then tell me it has multiple injector issues. I test drive it and I could barely get over 30-35 mph it was so bad. Then I look under it and find wheel well guarding shattered with remaining pieces zip tied in place on both sides of front end and missing bolts because OEM parts were not used for control arm and suspension related replacements and the parts used did not line up correctly. Finally, what infuriated me most was the salesman had the gall to insist the injectors were only a 2k dollar repair - I knew better on a Duramax - I showed him that reman OEM parts from NAPA cost 4500.00 to do repair, plus labor. He did not even acknowledge that he was mistaken, insisted differently and had an arrogant tone that I was done with and left.
