Bought New Truck - Not Happy

Went in to purchase a new truck - bought a 2020 GMC 2500 HD (Gas). Went through the whole financial part, was ready to go and...... 1. The person that was supposed to know everything about the vehicle, put diesel in it. 2. They spent 2 hours trying to activate the on star and the truck is not equipped with it. 3. We did not get to take our truck home because of a computer glitch - We were NEVER told that diesel was put in the truck. 4. When we went to pick up the truck on Monday afternoon, the person that put the wrong fuel in came out to tell me what she did and it would not be ready for several days. Now, here’s where it was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL of the dealership.. someone could have called and told us what happened instead of waiting for me to come get the vehicle, a MANAGER of any sorts should have come told me, NOT the girl that made the mistake, and lastly NOTHING was offered to compensate for the inconvenience (ie accessories, running boards, free gas, free oil changes, etc ) To say I’m disappointed is an understatement, I’m actually pissed about the situation, but we wanted a new truck and that was the best deal. I guess the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

You did a fine job changing our oil. GMC did have a computer problem scheduling our appointment and had to reschedule since the original day way over booked. Other than that our experience was good.

Keep coming back

Since coming to Slidell almost 20 years ago we have been buying cars from this location. This time I tried to go somewhere else just to see if I was missing out by only car shopping at one dealership. Drove myself crazy with all the options and choices out there. In the end, after all my research, I came back to a known level of service. People, Price and Service have always been top notch.

Staff was friendly accurate and worked in a timely manner.. they treated me in seconds walking through the door and was able to answer all questions

Initial service visit

Brought the truck in for the initial oil change and tire rotation scheduled maintenance. Made the appointment, the truck was taken in and I was back on the road in about an hour or less. Expectations met!
