BEWARE especially out of state buyers

Mileage on the dash when I changed the oil 146,660. Actual mileage on truck was 146,210 when I bought it. Oil and filters do not get this nasty in 450 miles. I have the pictures to prove it. So their website statement that the truck had "just been serviced" is Bullcrap. On top of that, Before I test drove the truck, I noticed the tires all looked awful low. So they drove it a couple blocks up the street to their Supposed, Diesel shop. Took the kid freaking forever. Got back, and VISUALLY the tires looked fine. Once I got it home, I found out that the truck had (1) 10 ply 80 psi tire on the front, and the other (5) were 8ply 44 psi tires that should NEVER have been put on this truck (2010 F350 Super duty Diesel Dually). Then I found out they had OVER INFLATED the 44 psi tires to 62 PSI! And there is NO doubt in my mind the reason they did it was FACT that the Inner needle valve in the stem on the passenger side was GONE. Nothing there. And the Driver side, the wheels were not lined up properly so it was physically impossible to get to the stem without removing the outer wheel. The needle valve in that one was screwed halfway out. So these folks sent us down the road with (2) 100% flat inner wheels, and DANGEROUSLY Over Inflated 8 plys for a 3 hour drive home. On the drive home I found out the truck had the Ford Death Wobble from Hades. If it would have happened during my test drive, I would have walked away right there. I ended up sinking another 4 grand into the front end suspension and tires. Then the final cherry on the cake, I bought the truck June 20. Today is July 27. I have been promised 4 TIMES that the Title would be sent out. I'm still waiting. They originally transferred my NC tags for a temporary 30 days. Then they ended up sending me VA temporary tags when that ran out. Then I get a letter from the NCDMV saying I have a lapse in Liability Insurance Coverage. So now I get to go straighten that whole mess out. All because this is the SORRIEST Car Lot I have ever had the misfortune of walking into. Run very fast and far away from here. You have been warned.

Awesome price and great service!

Was in the market for a new truck and Toni offered me a great price and I was on the road in no time! 10/10 would definitely buy from them again.

Had a large selection. Brent went out of his way to make sure that I drove off of the lot with the truck that I wanted. Got a decent trade in value. Took a very short time to do the paperwork and I drove off the lot with a beauty!! Runs great!

Buying a used truck

Went through xxxx trying to get a lone including doing all the information on line only to get kicked off on the last question and have to start all over but Brent stayed on the phone with me and walked me through it no matter how many times it took.if you are looking to buy a vehicle Brent is your man.

Shopping for and purchase of used vehicle

First time shopping with Surfside plus purchase....Found Brent extremely helpful and honest as pertaining to their vehicle on the market....Listened to faults described and had those problems repaired....Pleasant experience with Brent who readily furnished the CARFAX ....Would shop and purchase from Brent at Surfside again....

Great Experience

Bought a Jeep Wrangler and the sales people were friendly, attentive and applied no pressure. The quality and the price of the Jeep was better than any where else that I checked. Great Experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

Great Buying Experience

I purchased a vehicle from surfside about a month ago. The buying process was pretty simple and there was little to no unnecessary waiting or loafing around. Hard to get in and out of the lot, but if you park next door it's easy enough. :) Thanks goes to Toni for the positive experience and getting me back on the road.

Buyer Beware

When we purchased our Blazer from them right before they closed for the day, Toni even specifically spoke to us about giving them a call if anything went wrong in the first couple days. Warranty or not, she said they'd see what they could do for us provided we called first. At the time of purchase we were also told the AC compressor had just been replaced in the car. It worked fine on the 5 minute test drive. 12 hours later, after not being used except for the test drive, the AC isn't working. Toni never returned our calls, and it took two days for my husband to get in contact with her. Their mechanic tried only once to fill it with coolant in front of my husband. When that didn't work, he declared that it was the compressor and deflected to Toni. We were told the next day that the best they could offer us was to pay half of the cost to replace the compressor again. Thankfully, my husband is a pretty handy guy because he was able to get coolant in it and replace the compressor himself. Which, we discovered, was not a new part. We were discussing buying our next truck from them after the initial purchase, but not anymore. They're an alright place, but I would be wary of purchasing from them.

Surf side auto

The vehicle I purchased from them was amazing it was clean and had all the things I needed. The car just got an oil change and a new inspection. Definitely highly recommend this auto company great cars and trucks in that lot!
