First of all Carbuyerusa was buying my car under another

First of all Carbuyerusa was buying my car under another name that has no BBB rating called Progressive Remarketing that specializes in junk. I learned this when I went to try and get the car back at Manheim auto auction in Portland Oregon. My online offers had ranged from $13650(Carvana) to $18400(Carmax) and I was hoping to get $19444. CARBUYERUSA OFFERED $21200. WOW That was exciting. We made a tentative deal on Monday and since I live 60 miles from the auction house I agreed to drive it with the understanding that they would Uber me home which I told them would be $100. I will be 80 this year so this was not an easy task. After I dropped the vehicle it was in line for inspection when they opened on Tuesday. I called my Rep Josh and his boss was out to dinner who had Uber capabilities so I was on my own and was assured that I would be reimbursed. My car had an accident at 11,000 miles. I bought it at 14,000 miles.. 4 years later at 36,000 miles I am selling it. My agent was out on Wed so now I reach him on Thursday. He tells me because of the accident that was initially disclosed that they would give me $13,000 something. I think they wanted to negotiate but we were too far apart. This is when the fun began and I decided to pick my car up before auction house closed for the weekend at 5pm. I called the auction house close to 1pm and Taylor contacted the seller and got a release and sent the gate pass immediately to the buyer who had to send it to me. I chased that document for over 2 hours and Carbuyerusa denied they ever got it because they already had my vehicle up for auction for the next Tuesday. I think they figured that we could keep negotiating right up to the finish line. I got proactive and made my husband get out of his sick bed and jump in the car making our way through 4pm Portland traffic. It was 450pm and we were stuck in traffic. I called Manheim Auction and Taylor agreed to wait for me since I had no gate pass. When I arrived I felt like the whole staff had waited and they went out to the big lot and brought the car to me. They were kind. Now I had a 60 mile drive to Sandy, Oregon where the dealer closed at 7pm where they immediately bought my vehicle for $18100. I know my Chrysler 300 Limited was loaded with extras and very low miles for a 2018. I am telling this story because I started this event at 79 and felt like it had aged me to 89 in just less than 5 days. The moral of the story is if somethings seems to be too good to be true then let the seller beware. I had bought my replacement 2018 Chrysler 300 from Carvana without a hitch. Why I replaced my Velvet Red 300 for an Ocean Blue 300 with double the miles? I needed the cash equity to support a famous Oregon Lighthouse that I own and my new car has 100% financing. If you decide to get a Chrysler 300 then just be sure it has AWD and not RWD.. There is a Utube video that will let you see how AWD overproformed on dry and wet pavement and in snow. Also remember that many online buyers are wholesaling to another wholesaler which explains why they need to beat down your price. Hope this review helps you not to repeat my mistake that aged me 10 years in 5 Days but I did not lose my sense of humor. MIMI from Cascade Locks Oregon.

I received an online offer of about $18,500 from Car

I received an online offer of about $18,500 from Car Buyer USA for my vehicle. After visiting a couple of car dealers and getting cash offers from various sites like CarMax and Cars.com, Car Buyer USA’s offer was the highest I received. I discussed this offer over the phone with a Car Buyer USA customer service rep, and after I described the minor issues with the car (small scratches, paint chips, and a crack in the windshield) and provided pictures of the car, he assured me that I would receive an offer very close to $18,500 after their inspection. For the inspection, I had to drop off the car at an auto auction lot, which was somewhat disconcerting, and remove its license plates. This means I had to pay for an Uber back to my house. One day later, Car Buyer USA provided me with a report listing about $500 worth of repairable damage to the car. They used this report to justify dropping their offer by about $1,200 to $17,300. This didn’t make any sense to me. They offered to increase their offer to $17,500, but this still put it below the next highest offer I received. As a result, I had to decline Car Buyer USA’s offer and pay for another Uber back to the auto auction lot to pick up my car. Car Buyer USA stated that they would reimburse me for the first Uber trip, but I’m not sure that they actually will. Overall, I wasted about 2.5 hours of my time and about $50 on Uber rides, because Car Buyer USA misled me with their initial offer. If they had initially given me something closer to their final offer, I could have avoided all of this. If you receive an online offer from Car Buyer USA, just be aware that the number may be inflated to lure you in. I can’t say that my experience was entirely negative. Car Buyer USA’s final offer was higher than the vast majority of other offers I received, and their communication was good overall. But their scheme of artificially inflating their initial offer to lure me in just left a bad taste in my mouth, so I can’t recommend them.

I had a horrible experience with these people.

I had a horrible experience with these people. They are nothing more than bait and switch. First, they told me my car had a paint job and it devalued my car by 3k. Next, it was burning oil. I drove this car myself. There was never any smoke. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS! Joe Lautigar, Chattanooga, TN

If I could give zero stars I would!

If I could give zero stars I would! Juan Christopher Offered a purchase agreement! The price changes right before they close because my car didn’t have a sun roof!!!!!! My car is in perfect condition with very low miles! My husband took the day off work so we could drive 2+ hours to drop my car off for inspection! They waited right before closing to tell us the price so we couldn’t even get my car back that night! I sent in all pictures and no sunroof is visible because I don’t have one! Trying to get someone to talk to you on the phone is impossible. Slum lords who want to bait you in with a price they can’t come through with! Juan Christopher Rushed me to sign the paper work through my email and I should have known right there it was a joke! How are you going to change the price of the vehicle because it doesn’t have a sunroof! No, I realized that you do all customers like this! Not only does the customer have to do all the leg work but then they slap you in the face with this!

Run away!

Avoid like the plague. Do yourself a favor and use carmax or carvana even if it’s a little less. They changed my offer AFTER they picked up the vehicle under the basis that the offer had expired. I now have to Uber 45 minutes away to pick up my car
