Subaru service rating

Prompt, polite, careful and courteous. This was not just for aa 30,000 mile service, but for a recall replacement of the passenger aiarbag. All was handled exactly as they stated it would be. Vehicle was actually ready before we'd planned to pick it up and check out was a breeze.

I brought my car in due to have starting issues, told them the rear door wouldn't open, keep hearing a clicking noise and the battery was running down. Having trouble with it starting after running it a few days with the clicking. Picked it up and they said it was a recall battery software issue. 3 days later same problem, so again 4 days without a vehicle, when I called to come in the C/S rep didn't even try to get me in sooner, did care about the inconvenience, so when I came in and explained the situation to a different C/S rep he said oh it must be the battery........wow couldn't have done that the first time. I'm not a happy Subaru customer not due to the vehicle, due to the terrible customer service I received when I purchased my car. And the service hasn't changed in the 2 years I have owned my car

Get it Done!

I went in for my 18,000 mile oil change and to take care of a "recall" related to the fuel gauge. The dealership is clean, provide water/coffee and doughnuts. The person in charge of checking me in was able to modify what was done first (i.e. My appointment was at twelve and the recall issue could not be done until people returned from lunch. She was able to send my car to get the oil change first to expedite the process). They were able to get a shuttle to drop me off at Sizzler so I could eat and do some light shopping while my car was being worked on. I felt that they were willing to meet my needs and answer any concerns/questions I had.

Feeling ripped off

Funny getting an email asking to do a review, after the last review of the dealership being negative. The day of buying the car was easy. The week fallowing. xxxx. Lack of communication on the dealer ships part. They dropped the ball big time. Lost my information. Had to keep resending it. Had to take time off from work, to fix the dealers mistake. Now the car is 18 months old, less then 12,000 miles and an oil consumption test. The dealer dropped the ball on how it goes down for the test. Then trying to say we can?t miss our service. We make ever six months, being the car does not make the 6000 mile mark in 6 months. Now to top it off the head unit is starting to act up. No back up camera, phone won?t sink, via Bluetooth or the patch cord. I have told family and friends not to get a Subaru or to deal with Modesto Subaru. I feel this Crosstrek will not last 10 years, I feel I will be lucky if it last 4 years. Don?t by a Subaru, don?t buy from Modesto Subaru.

Modesto Subaru?s Experience

Out of 3 Subaru dealers in the area they were easy to work with and I had a great experience. Carlos is a great salesman that didn?t push anything or pressure me. Would deal with him and Modesto Subaru again.

We have a full service warranty. Modesto Subaru went over and above. They had the vehicle towed to their facility. Since we only have the single car they arranged for a loaner until they could get the part and install it. Everything went just as smoothly as possible. Would we recommend Modesto Subaru; you bet.
