Our Salesman, Michael Williams did an excellent job...

Our Salesman, Michael Williams did an excellent job locating the 2021 Chevrolet Blazer Redline Edition that we were looking for. He has a very friendly, positive, and helpful attitude that other sales personnel can learn from. We are extremely happy with our new vehicle and would recommend anyone to visit Matt Bowers Chevrolet for a positive car shopping experience!

Stay away

Very disappointed would put it lightly. My experience from the start has been trying at best. After spending hours at the dealership to purchase the car and pay for it in full you'd think they would be jumping to make you feel satisfied. To start we purchased the car at the end of the day and said we would be in the next day to pay off the balance and pick up the car. I had called them the next day and said when we would be in and when I arrived the car was still dirty and not cleaned. I ended up having to sit around for over an hour waiting for them to clean the car and it took the sales rep I had going out and vacuuming it and not much else was done. It showed that communication was not a priority there. Then they send off my registration information to my DMV twice, it was returned to them because it went to the wrong location. The second time it has been lost in delivery. Now all new original paperwork is needed and I feel like they are not willing to take care of it. I understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic and xxxx happens unfortunately I don't think they do. Since this delay my insurance company is dropped this vehicle since it is not registered and I cannot drive it. I have called multiple times and no return call. It feels that they don't care about you after the sale and all they want was your money. I would not recommend them, since my experience has been so poor with them I would have to say go somewhere else. A little good will from the start would have gone a long way but their actions has shown they don't care about their customers.

Very nice people with great deals.

I shopped online for a 2009 Lexus GX470 for three months. I found the best deal with the best people at Matt Bowers Chevrolet. They are laid back and very helpful. Ask for Cierra!

Worse Experience Ever

Purchased a Used Tahoe from their big inventory of 2019 4wd Suburbans and Tahoe's they just acquired. We worked out a price and trade for my wife's pilot on Saturday 5/16/20. They said we would like to do the paperwork now as the car may be gone if we didn't act, but the car would be delivered within the next couple of days. They said via verbal that if the car came in and I didn't approve they would tear up the paper work. When I finished the paper work I asked for a copy, they said it would not be necessary since the vehicle would be in by Monday. The car didn't show up for two weeks until 5/30/20. I was promised every few days that it would be in the next day. My salesman did his best. He told me the general manager would call me to tell me what was going on. The general manager never called during my 2 week wait. I also requested my paperwork again during the two week period leaving a message for the Finance manger and having my salesman forward him my email request since the car was not showing up. I had concerns I was liable for insurance without even having a car. I was never given the paperwork. Terrible buying experience. Upon picking up the car on Saturday 5/30/20 4PM. The car had been inspected through service but not detailed and cleaned for receipt. To save a trip back to Slidell, we asked if we could take the car home and have Matt Bowers Metairie closer to our home detail and clean the car. Slidell agreed and said they would contact Jodi the Metiarie general manager to ensure we would be serviced. My wife on Monday 6/1 brought the car told Metiarie about Jodi their GM agreeing to detail the car. My salesman from Slidell also said he texted Jodi upon my wife's arrival and that she would be taken care of. They kept it for a half a day, when she came home she noticed the inside had been untouched. They still had french fries and food in the doors/console cracks, the leather had the same smudges and dirt on it as before when looking in the back etc. Seems they just ran it through the car wash. I called Matt Bowers Metairie, they acted as if they didn't know anything about having to do the detail, which was a lie. They said they thought they just had to wash it. I believe Metairie Matt Bowers didn't want to clean/prep a car already sold from Slidell, but I assume Slidell would have reimbursed them for the detail since it's the same company. Metairie offered for us to bring the car back for a detail. I declined since I would have to waste another day and did not trust it would ever be cleaned, and Slidell offered to buy a tank of gas, which by the way when we took the Tahoe off the lot it only had a quarter tank of gas. A simple gesture from one of the dealerships to come pick up the car, and have it detailed and gassed up like it should have been from the start would have been nice. This is the 10th car I buy in my life, and this was the worse experience I had in the past 20 years.

Bait and switch

We wanted to purchase a new Tahoe. Our salesman Michael provided a price for one vehicle which was acceptable my wife did not like the vehicle so another was chosen. Negotiations started to a point that the salesman said will you pay $36500. We said no but we would pay $36000. The salesman had us sign the agreed upon price only to return later with a $42800 price. The reason given was the vehicle was more expensive. At no time were we informed the salesman offer was phony only to get us to pay more. When contacted by a person that did not identify himself we were told that the sales personnel were trained to do that.

Great Timing

I was in the market to buy a new vehicle. Looked on line and began a chat. From there, I was texted with an appointment for 7:15 p.m. I was given Marshall Keelen as my salesman. I picked out a vehicle before 8 p.m. and purchased it that night. Excellent service from Marshall and the finance officer.
