Test driving a used vehicle
I test drove a car that was told had several options that it DID NOT. Found a few things that I thought were wrong with the vehicle 1 of which was a lifter tick. But the most pertinent thing I noticed was a rust bubble that I pointed out to the sales manager and his reply to me was...” that’s why it’s called a used car”...which I replied...”NOT FOR 20 GRAND” needless to say this was a 2013 and I had looked at several at other dealers and they were in much better shape...all I can say is they seem to just be interested in making the sale rather than honest and fair sales...definitely won’t go back!

I had my Ford serviced the day before.
Night and day difference. Julia had all my paperwork printed and ready to go as soon as i pulled in. She kept me informed with what was going on. She came out to get me when the car was done. Ford needs people like Julia.

Buyer Beware
My husband and I purchased a 2018 CX-5 and were told MULTIPLE times by Sean the sales person that it had XM radio we would get 6 months free and we would get real time traffic... as I'm leaving in the car I said "hey it's not letting me select XM" and Sean tells me "oh it might take a few days" call again a week later when it doesn't show up and by this point my husband has received multiple calls from them because they want us to take their survey, on one of the calls from Will he tells us "call XM they might need to trigger it" then we call XM and are told the car doesn't even have an XM box, called back and Will said "I'll look into this and hangs up" no return call, so I call again a week later and speak to Brian (Sean's boss) who tells me the trim I got doesn't have XM capability and that I can't add it and he says he will call Sean to see what happened and call me back, another week goes by and no call, so I call back again, and am told by Brian that Sean says he was supposed to call me... basically I was sold a $27,000 car and told it had features that it didn't and that can't be added and I get no apology, no question of "what can we do to make up for our mistake" .... needless to say their customer service is HORRIBLE they continued to harass you to buy a car or to take their survey but if you try to get answers from anyone there it's crickets. I get things happen but it's how you respond to them that matter and no follow up no return calls and no question of what they can do to help make it right was horrible.... a genuine apology from the Sean who KNOWS what that he promised that feature with the car and maybe offer an oil change or another upgraded feature would have went a long way.... instead they just ignored us.

Sale of a vehicle
A coward and very poor poor service. I hope you don't treat all your customers like you did me, but from looking at all the reviews you have several people not happy with the service. If you can't call a customer back when they leave a message and just text that's just begin a coward, be a man. Then I called and you would not answer the call.

Excellent Experience at Napleton Mazda - Libertyville
This dealership was really great and the sales and managerial staff made the experience really enjoyable. Sean is so nice, very knowledgeable and very helpful. He made the process easy and didn’t put us in any awkward sales situations. After the purchase, he spent time with us (at 9 o’clock at night) to make sure all the settings were to our liking before seeing us off. Great service and a wonderful overall experience.

Expert help and advice from Jeff Becknell, Service Manager
I was specifically referred to this dealership by the Windy City Mazda Miata Club and by my neighbor, Matt, who also owns a Mazda MX-5 Miata. Matt knows Jeff and takes all his cars for service to Jeff. I must admit I was still somewhat skeptical. I waited an incredibly short time for Jeff's service staff to identify and fix the problem, a leaking drain plug on the 6-M transmission. Jeff personally took me out to the service area and showed me the leak while the car was on the lift. Please note that this was a very clean and orderly service shop that I can attest to firsthand. And, what other dealership allows you into their shop, for whatever good or bad reasons? Hats off to Jeff Becknell and Napleton Mazda! We discussed my upcoming 60K service requirement (the so-called "Big One") and what a refreshing conversation with the Service Manager who is both straight-talking and customer-focused. By the way, full disclosure: the leaking drain plug was caused by the owner, and the cost to fix it was "no charge." Also, Jeff described the 60K service for the Miata as mostly "checking." I really think I understand why the gentleman from the Windy City Mazda Club takes his SE (Special Edition) Miata to Jeff and why the Windy City Mazda Club knows the SE Miata owner is happy getting service from Napleton Mazda -- for a car he really cares about. Like me.

Service
We purchased a CX9 from this dealership and Chris help,us a lot. After two.Or three weeks my son called to make an appointment for the interior exterior package we bought . Someone informed my son that Chris should have made that schedule then he was put on hold . We decided to go the next day to make the appointment and tried to explained to the receptionist what we wanted but was inform d that there is no such thing . Luckily Jeff Becknell came in and explained everything and informed us to bring the car the=next day . Jeff deserved a 5 star rating 5 being the best for being patient and understanding to customer needs.

Simple, Honest, Fair
I purchased my 2017 Mazda CX-5 (purchased new Jan 2018) from this dealership, and found the process to be fair and easy. Recently, we decided to move back to the city and would need to sell our car. I went to CarMax and they offered me $22,000 which was insulting. I tried a cars.com program where dealers email you offers and Gurnee Chrysler Dodge Jeep made an offer that turned out to be fake (just to get me in the dealership-avoid them!). So I was frustrated and dreading having to sell the vehicle on my own. I needed an oil change, so called Napleton, thinking maybe they'd offer me something fair and Kelsey was great; suggested I bring it in so Will could review it. That Saturday Will came over and offered me a written offer for $25K, good for a week. He was direct, honest, and up front about the process. I committed to selling it a week later. All week long I was worried something was awry and I was going to be duped, but today I brought it by and Will/Kelsey chatted for a bit (both are super friendly) and they completed the process. I couldn't be happier and am pleasantly shocked. Thank you Napleton, next time I buy a car; I'll be looking for your dealerships!!
