Terrible experience.
Terrible experience. Short version: the sales manager tried to scoop a sale from a dealership where I'd placed a deposit by offering to beat the other dealership's price by $300, sight unseen; the actual price was $5,000 higher than the other dealership; the salesman expected me to handle the trade-in by traveling to my credit union (4.5 hours each way) to get a check for the full amount of the pre-approval and bring the check to their dealership, without being able to give the credit union a lien on the new vehicle. I had to explain that's not how trade-ins work. At the end, I had to ask that my car be moved to a closer entrance because I have a severe back injury and couldn't walk the length of the dealership (they'd left my vehicle at the opposite end of the dealership). So many things wrong with my experience. My opinion? Stay away.

Our family was interested in purchasing an SUV.
Our family was interested in purchasing an SUV. They had one for a great deal, but we insisted on going home and coming back the next day. Our salesman, Phil Davidson, was nice and willing to work with us, but he insisted we at least see the numbers before heading out. After a discussion inside negotiating, we decided to go home and come back later the next day. As we were getting up to go, his sales manager Matt comes in and says "Well you'll need to deposit (a certain amount) in order to reserve this car so we dont sell it tomorrow." I told him "We didn't say we were for sure going to buy this vehicle." Then this xxxxx has the audacity to say "Oh I'm sorry I was told you were and I stayed an hour past closing just to do your paperwork. It's just inconvenient because its already past closing." Well, I apologize for being such an inconvenience when your sly salesman is the one that lied and said we were buying. We insisted on leaving, but your people said otherwise and then you guys told us my wife, 2 babies and I were an inconvenience. Call it good cop, bad cop, call it a selling tactic, or call it whatever you want. I'll call it crappy customer service and you'll never get a recommendation or a car purchase from us. The people my family and I dealt with were decieving liars, but its alright. Carvana offered a better deal for the same car year, make, model, and package, except it didn't have dings, chipped paint or a broken car handle and it was $1000 less than the car Music City Honda was trying to sell us.

Incompetent mechanics
Called about a quote for parts & labor for S2000 valve spring retainers. The "16 years on the job" mechanic didnt have a clue what I was talking about. Literally the most common issue for this model car. Yet, a "experienced certified" mechanic couldnt answer any of my questions. Quickly suggested a head replacement for $3300??? Then tells me his corworker has the same car and he can give me a callback to answer my questions. 5 hours later and still no callback. I called again and was told the "guy" is busy with 2 customers he'll call you back. Its been 3 weeks nobody bothered to help. These people do not give a xxxx about you just your wallet. I also asked for a differential and transmission flush which is about 2quarts each yet they want to quote me $350! Incompetent thieves. Dont take your sports cars to this dealer. Stay away.

My daughter happily drove away with a Honda CR-V this morning. Keith and Crystal worked with us through the whole process staying in close contact as we navigated all of the supply chain issues hitting the country right now. Highly recommend this dealer and these two for your next purchase.

Nope. Never again
Did not enjoy my car buying experience. I felt the sales manager was bullying and obnoxious. He raised his voice when I did not agree to his offer. Such old school and out-dated tactics. Unfortunately cars were in short supply this year or I would have gone elsewhere.

While traveling to Nashville for the Music City Grand...
While traveling to Nashville for the Music City Grand Prix in August we had a problem with our 2007 Honda CR-V. We had our CR-V towed to Music City Honda to have the problem diagnosed. We were told it was a starter failure and then later told we also needed a battery. We paid over $1000 for the starter replacement. When we returned to South Carolina, the problem replicated itself and I discovered it was due to problem with the ignition fuse, not the starter. I attempted to work with Kelly, the Service Manager to rectify the problem of being charged for a repair I did not really need, Kelly praised me for my demeaner and understanding, promising me multiple times that I would receive a call back with an honest answer for what happen here. Having patiently waited for over a month for a call back, I am now speaking out thru Dealer Rater and will be sending Press Releases to all local TV stations to see if they would like to take on a public interest story about Music City's apparent practice of completing repairs that are not necessary or not fully vetted by any real generally accepted professional trouble shooting procedures.
