I purchased a car from Fred Beans Doylestown as an out-of-state buyer (I live in Georgia). I would definitely not recommend this and wouldn't have done it except, in the current situation with scarcity of used vehicles, it was the only option to find/purchase the vehicle I was looking for (2021 VW Golf TSI). I specifically asked the salesman to detail any flaws in the car since I was not able to see it in person. He sent me a video which didn't show anything close up. I assumed since he didn't point anything out specifically, all was well. Keep in mind I was purchasing at top dollar and it was pre-certified. I had to pay for and arrange my own shipping, which I did. When the vehicle arrived, there was a large (quarter sized) chip of paint missing from the front bumper and a scrape / touch up paint on both sides of the back wheel well (as if someone had run into /scraped something). These are both very noticeable, but of course, since I had already accepted the car, I'm just stuck with it. When I mentioned it to the sales rep later, he said he didn't see them. Really?! I asked him to specifically point this kind of thing out in advance since I could not see the vehicle myself and could make the best buying decision. In addition, the car came with no owner's manual and no second key - both standard items I would expect a pre-certified vehicle would come with. Obviously, buying a car out of state is not ideal and I learned my lesson, but this dealership definitely did not do a very good job (in my opinion) of making that experience any better.

MOM!!!
My daughter and I recently leased a 2017 Volkswagon Jetta from Barry Grimm at your Doylestown dealership. After all of the paperwork had been completed, and we took that beautiful car home, we realized that maybe we should have opted for the automatic transmission, as opposed to the standard transmission which we initially decided upon, purely due to economics. We thought for sure that we may be stuck with a gorgeous car, yet one that neither one of us felt totally comfortable driving (honestly, I couldn't even get it into first gear, bleh!). I immediately reconnected with Barry Grimm via Chris, and between the two of them and Yanni, all of our problems were resolved within minutes. Thus, we drove out of your dealership, both of us smiling from ear to ear, satisfied customers who had been treated with the utmost respect. Kudos to you, Barry, Chris, and Yanni, and thanks to you, Mr. Fred Beans, for instilling the value of good customer service in your employees! Happily yours ~ Donna and Carly C P. S. Barry Grimm & Yanni - Great Experience...
Barry Grimm, Yanni (the Finance Manager) and the staff at Fred Beans Volkswagen were all fantastic. The process of purchasing a fantastic used car for my son went very smoothly and we were able to get him exactly what he wanted for a great price and percentage rate. There was a minor issue with the car that they took care of for us without any problem. Thank you to everyone there, my son is enjoying his "new" car, we would highly recommend purchasing from Barry and the team there at Fred Beans Volkswagen.
