Buyer Beware!

Buyers beware! I purchased this 2015 Infiniti QX80 on October 20, 2023, from Synergy Auto Deals, and received it on Saturday, October 28, 2023. I have not been able to drive the vehicle because of its poor condition. First and foremost, the sales manager Mr. Deralus promised me that I would receive my vehicle mechanically sound, with interior, and exterior above normal “mint condition,” and the dealership staff claimed to have done a full inspection and promised that the car I was buying was in great shape. Upon the arrival and unloading of the car, I noticed at first glance that there was an overwhelming number of scratches and dents all over the body of the car. The delivery transportation guy at first argued with me that I had to pay him for delivering the car and I had to call the dealership office and speak to the staff to resolve the issue as I had already paid in advance for that service. The vehicle tires were in poor condition, and one was flat. The transportation guy had to jump the vehicle and maneuver the key fob which connects to the automatic push button to start the car. The fob battery was dead, so the guy showed me how to hold the fob close to the start button in order for it to start. I drove the car down the road, and it ran out of gas. I could not believe what I was experiencing. I could not believe anybody would have shipped a car with that many things being wrong, especially a $16,000 vehicle. Instead of me being excited I had nothing but anxiety and sadness. The day of delivery was hot, and the car air conditioning did not work, the engine was running sluggish with multiple warning lights on including the check engine light that was on. I immediately called the dealership and got the runaround, and the sales manager refused to talk to me or call me. Not only did they deceive me into believing that I purchased a quality vehicle, but they coerced me into signing an e-contract with multiple buy-as-is languages excluding the dealership from fraudulent activity, all alone lying to me to mislead me into giving them $16,600.00 cash for a car that had multiple engine issues, an overwhelming amount of scratches and dents all over the body of the car and interior dirty. Buyers Beware of this dealership! I have spent $5000.00 on repairs and services on this vehicle stay clear of this dealership. Mike, Texas

Don't buy from them they are crooks

I bought a 2011 Acadia first off they completely lied to me about the condition of the automobile. I got a 3 month warranty on the suv and that's a complete joke. Time the driver took the car off from being delivered it wouldn't go in drive and had to be put in the shop that day of course the warranty wouldn't pay and I was out another 3,500 for transmission. They lied about the miles on the car and made sure they didn't tell me in had a branded title until after I already purchased the car. Never again will I do business with these crooks.

Don’t buy here

I reach out to them because of True car. I was looking at a 2020 Tacoma. If it was for a friend of mine that went over to test drive it, I wouldn’t of known that the dash display was not working and that a bunch of engine light came on. They assured me that this truck was in the shop the morning of. Liars! I am glad I did not have the car shipped because they flat lied to me.

Buyer Beware

Update: I called Pen Fed to confirm whether they require a warranty to finance the car. ANSWER WAS NO. Matter of fact, they said they've never heard of such a thing. So this dealer lied to me about that, and after seeing this review, turned me down as a customer for having a voice and being honest. I even offered to update it if they honored their prior deal. Don't do business with them; I hope this helps the next person. Stealership alert! They are very sneaky with how they assemble their deals. I was asked to do a credit application directly after a test drive. This was before I was decided, anything was negotiated on my trade in, and no dealer fees were discussed. I was able to get a price breakdown before filling out the credit application. I noticed an expensive, unnecessary warranty I was told was not required. I also discovered they push a $1.5k charge for outside financing. I decided to apply for inside financing given how many creditors they work with. After being approved and getting two hard runs on my credit, they inflated the price by over $3k due to this this 3 year warranty all of a sudden being non-negotiable. I did not appreciate the terms being changed after I got insured on this new vehicle. Of all their creditors, they couldn’t find someone who’d finance without a warranty, unbelievable despite my stellar credit. I walked away with nothing. Two hard runs on my credit, an extra expense from insuring vehicle that isn’t mine, and a day wasted. I’ve never seen a creditor deny a small loan due to no warranty, so I’m forced to believe this boils down to dishonesty between the managers.
