Melissa and Car-Mart Covington, GA are the BEST!
I finally purchased a car here! Let me start off by saying that Melissa is the best! She was very friendly, caring and attentive to what I was looking for. She was also very patient, it took me about a month to find a car that I wanted, and she didn't try to force me into anything. She was available when I need her to be. She even came and picked me up from my house in my new car so that I could go to the dealership to finish all of the paperwork. I just can't sing her praises enough! Thank you so much Melissa and thank you, CAR-MART! I really enjoyed my experience at Car-Mart with selecting and financing my car. I have some credit issues and I felt like I was in a new car dealership with the professionalism that I received. If you are looking for a car and you have some credit issues, I have a recent repo, then I would highly recommend going to the Car-Mart in Covington, GA. You guys are the best! Thank You so very much!

Horrible experience with Management Travis Howard
Worked there for small amount of time because I found a better opportunity. Went to the morning meeting one Friday morning, gave my announcement and Travis Howard was so rude to where he told me that I could just go ahead and leave so I gave him my notice anyway. I felt that was so unprofessional and how can you be that rude and mad that a person wants to better themselves. Another employee said he did them the same way. When I first started the job, I herd bad things about Mr. Travis Howard so I said let me see for myself. I saw for myself alright. The office manager was only there for 2 months and immediately found another job due to how she was treated by Mr. Travis Howard. Now I see why the turn over rate is high with this particular Car-Mart is because of Travis Howard. My opinion, he needs to be retrained on how to be professional if the company don't want to keep losing valuable employees. I will not recommend anyone or refer anyone to this particular Car-Mart. I've been gone from Car-Mart since July but I felt this needed to be heard so this won't keep happening.

SELLING CARS WITH ISSUES
I am a first time buyer and I have had the car for barely a week when the car engine light came on, the car is shaking, and it’s noisy now. I have not been transferred to a manger once it’s seems it is the receptionists duties to give you the run around. They will not inform you that the cars they have do not going through an emissions check so if you need that for your county beware of that scam. I have been introduced to the term “being sold a lemon” because honestly it’s the truth. Please beware of my experience, and no they will not trade the car out even though it may be a driving hazard. Good luck.

The Best Service Ever
The service that Car Mart in Covington Ga is second to none. The warmth,consideration, helping the customers, spending quality time with each customer says a lot about this company. I have never had a wonderful experience at the bigger car dealerships. They sell you false hopes... example they mention all the time we can get you in any car and it doesn't matter if your credit is bad just come by, destroying the hopes of getting a car. When you go to Car-Mart in Covington GA this is the real deal.. You will drive off with your car, you will understand the expectations of your payments, you will feel like family, you will be given a second chance no if and etc, Customer service just words can't say enough for the ladies that understand how to deliver 200percent of customer not 5 percent. They greet with a smile. Hildred is wonderful, smart and know his job.. He means what he and say what he means, I'm so fortunate as a customer to have met him. The staff just gives you the WOW effect every single time. I would love for all of my cars to be purchased at this place. The best place ever point blank. Words to sum it up, Pay you car note and you will be fine, call if you're going to have a problem because they are there to help you at all cause.

Very Disappointed
DO NOT purchase a car from this CARMART, Covington location. My daughter is disabled and was manipulated and totally taken advantage of at this location. The Manager, Bree, is very rude and unprofessional. The GM, Travis Howard, is the only sensible person there that exhibited integrity and professionalism. We are still waiting for her $700 down payment refund. Update to follow.

My experience
Its been 8 months since walking into Carmart to purchase a vehicle. Customer service is great. They will even help with repairs for certain things. They make you feel comfortable and make you think they are willing to help you keep your car, but dont lose a job and your income goes down, they will not work to lower your payments but will tell you how to manage your finances after you pour your confidential life situation out to them. Instead of helping you in a way so you can have a manageable payment, instead they begin to operate like loan sharks. Pay or park it..no matter what your financial situation changes to. Iam sure most of us know how to handle our finances if you have enough money coming into your house. I know I do and dont need loan sharks telling me how to handle my finances. So long story short. Carmart is perfect if youre down on your luck, credit issues even low income they will put you in a car. But God forbid don't miss a payment or lose a job. You will be walking real quick.
