I feel that I was taken advantage of.
I feel that I was taken advantage of. I will admit to wanting a car but I would have rather been denied this loan or put in a vehicle I could afford if that was even possible. I am a 75-year-old woman living on a fixed income of approximately $1,400 a month through Social Security. After I made an inquiry online, I was picked up from Ocala (59 miles from Clermont) and brought to your car lot, and unfortunately, the experience that followed left me feeling greatly taken advantage of and misled. I did not have the opportunity to walk around and look at the vehicles on the lot. In fact, the car was already waiting for me when I arrived - I was never given the chance to select a vehicle myself. I was directed straight into a conversation with your salesman, who must have immediately recognized he found an elderly woman with very little knowledge buying a car, so before the night was over I drove off with a $34k car, with about $15k worth of add-ons minus tax title and tag.. During this process, I was not made fully aware of the total cost of the vehicle, which ended up being over $49,600, nor was I properly informed about the numerous add-ons that were included in the final contract. I was not given the time or transparency needed to make an informed decision. I am still unsure how I was approved for a loan of this size. After paying rent, I am left with roughly $300 per month - making it completely unrealistic for me to afford a $762 monthly car payment. I was overwhelmed during the process and did not fully understand the financial obligation I was entering into. Since the purchase, I visited another dealership in Ocala to explore whether I had any options to trade or refinance. Unfortunately, even after removing all the add-ons, the car remains unaffordable due to the significant negative equity created in this deal. The professionals at that dealership also expressed concern, stating clearly that I was taken advantage of by an unscrupulous and dishonest salesman. While I did intend to inquire about purchasing a car, I believe Mr. Miller knowingly took advantage of my limited financial knowledge and vulnerable situation. I now feel trapped in a loan that is not only unmanageable but may also violate fair lending and consumer protection standards. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate steps be taken to address this situation.

Terrible customer service.
Terrible customer service. Terrible cars. Wish I could give 0 stars!! Advertised a car, went to see it, turns out they don’t even have a key to the vehicle but use it as bait to get you to come up there. Sold me a different car, lied about all the costs until it was time to sign, then magically the paper disappeared that finance dept gives you. Didn’t even have my car 1 week, wouldn’t charge past 30%, was told to come back car would be switched out.. got up there refused to switch it out. Ended up in a loaner car for 3 months, was promised I’d be reimbursed on my payment since I was paying on a car I couldn’t drive (mind u this was in feb 2025) had the car back not even a whole week, completely shuts down in traffic, had to pay out of pocket to have car towed, ended up in loaner car AGAIN with another promise to be switched for a different car, had me up there all day while they looked for key to that car, magically finds it when it’s time to close, has me come back the next day and test drive car, had me sitting for hours waiting to do paperwork and tells me they are instead going to try again to fix my car so then I waited 3 weeks to get my car back, car shuts down again at Publix while I’m alone with my 2 year old. Mourad says I should just be grateful that they ended up paying to fix my battery and I should be okay with not being reimbursed for my payment that they agreed in writing to give me. Of course nobody wants to take my phone calls or emails. Will be suing them, contacting a lawyer Monday morning. Stay away from this terrible place. They have been a nightmare throughout this past almost 7 months.

Well I’ve been calling for months so you all could “make it right” and Malik who answers the phone is always rude, says managers are “out today” I never saw a company whose management is off literally everyday. I also sent direct emails which of course got no response but you all will reply to negative reviews! The jokes write themselves!

I’m really not sure it’s fair to assess me on the dealership because I didn’t interact with anyone except for my salesman and finance. Maybe after I visited a few times for service or for another reason, it would be a better assessment. However, there no issues everybody was really nice and the facility was clean.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership a 2021 Dodge
I purchased a vehicle from this dealership a 2021 Dodge ram with 42,000 miles on it. My first due date is 45 days from the purchase when I purchased the vehicle my first due date payment is the 28th of this month I am back here trying to get my vehicle fixed or to at least get a diagnosis of what was going on my check engine light came on I was stranded at the lake I went home got my other vehicle came back and jumped the truck it started I hooked up my diagnosis machine and it said that it was six issues I went and I purchased a battery from Walmart by the time I rode back up to Nissan which is like 15 miles from my house the check engine light went off but still at this time I have two issues showing from my diagnosis so the service is a different entity from the sales they wanted to charge me $212 for diagnosis I refuse to pay anything because I haven't even made my first payment on the truck and I shouldn't have no check engine lights coming on. I went to sales department they said that they're going to eat the cost of the diagnosis which for them is $169. I'm not leaving my truck today because I have things that I have to do and they don't give out loaner vehicles so I scheduled appointment for Tuesday the 27th of May I will most definitely will be writing another review once I get the update on the vehicle after I take it through service on Tuesday.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how frustrating it is to experience any concerns with your vehicle shortly after purchase. Please know that when the vehicle was sold, it had no active issues or warning lights, and it passed inspection. Unfortunately, mechanical problems can sometimes occur unexpectedly, which is why we always recommend the purchase of an extended warranty to help protect against future repairs. We're glad our sales team stepped in to assist by covering the diagnostic fee as a courtesy, and we look forward to inspecting your vehicle at your upcoming service appointment. We value your business and appreciate the opportunity to work with you on this matter.

We spoke with Javier the day before coming to the establishment. Communicated our parameters for what cars we were looking for. Showed up and one of the cars was not even at that particular dealership and neither was Javier. Over the phone we asked about fees and was told the ones listed were what they are and that he could not provide us with an out-the-door price without us visiting the showroom. He told us we needed to come in. We should have known. Once we were there they added on an extra fee of almost &2,500 for a used $13k car to add a pulse brake light and paint protection. It made no sense to add paint protection over a scratched/paint chipped body we were buying for our 16 year old son’s first car. Why would you put protection over a 7 year old car that is chipped and scratched. They were awful to deal with and we just ended up walking out. We will never return. Dishonest and felt like I was being taken advantage of. Do not waste your time.

A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE with this dealership.
A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE with this dealership. I was looking for a Chevy Equinox for my son and set up a test drive for a used one the dealership had listed online. I received multiple confirmations and communications (including a clean Carfax) about the car and the upcoming test drive from the internet sales consultant I had been dealing with. My son took the day off and rented a car to drive over 100 miles to see this car. When he got there he was told the car was physically not at the dealership and that it was being "inspected" by a Chevy dealer. I got on the phone with the dealership while my son was still there and received various, and differing explanations as to why the car was unavailable (and why it was being "inspected" by Chevy). I was also told by the salesperson (who was different than the internet sales consultant) assigned to my son when he got there that he didn't even know my son was coming in, until he showed up. We were told that while there was nothing they could do to get the vehicle back that day, we could still go ahead and move forward to negotiate the sale of the vehicle sight unseen - which was completely unacceptable. My son was offered a "free" tank of gas for his ride home and no additional compensation for his rental vehicle (much less his time). I received several emails from the internet sales consultant apologizing and explaining all the disconnects that happened internally associated with this situation. Imagine my surprise when I saw that the car had been relisted for $4,000 more two days after my son's visit. I also received another email from the internet sales consultant today informing me I had "missed" an appointment. Needless to say - we won't be buying anything from Reed Nissan Clermont.

We sincerely apologize for the disappointing experience you and your son encountered. We understand how frustrating and inconvenient this situation was, especially after the time and effort you both invested. Clear communication and transparency are critical to the experience we strive to provide, and it’s clear we did not meet those expectations during your visit. Your feedback has been shared with our management team for immediate review to prevent situations like this from happening in the future. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention and again apologize for the inconvenience caused.
