This dealership completely ruined my life.

This dealership completely ruined my life. I came in to test drive a car a month ago and the AC didn't work, rearview mirror was missing, check engine light was on. His 10-year-old son was giving me paperwork to fill out. I tried to back out but the dealer assured me he could get the problems fixed if I returned the next day. They seemed to be understaffed and a family-run business so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Next day he was incredibly rude, gave me attitude when I told him I would prefer to finance the car, we ran into issues with the paperwork and he kept telling me to calm down and that it wasn't a big deal. I wound up having to borrow money to buy the car outright because I had to leave town that night and was desperate for a car. I SHOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THIS CAR. After I bought it, it wouldn't start. He got the car to start and assured me it wouldn't happen again, at this point I had no choice but to take it as I already bought it. Gas light comes on on my way home, after I get gas the car WON'T START AGAIN. When I took the car into a shop to get looked at it needed over $3k worth of repairs including all new tires. The glove box also will not open. After I got the car back from the shop it began to stall while driving it and still has trouble starting too. Mechanic can't seem to figure out what's wrong and neither can the the Chevy dealership I took it to. My life is completely ruined and I am in a ton of debt because of this, I had to get 2 new jobs to pay off the money I borrowed and the additional thousands of dollars of repairs, and I STILL DON'T HAVE A WORKING CAR. Car hasn't passed an e-check yet so I can't register it even though I bought it over a month ago. I highly advise anyone considering coming here to go somewhere else. I can tell they were not trying to hurt me, they were just overworked and understaffed, but it was at the expense of my financial wellbeing. If I could take legal action I would.

Bad experience

Worst experience ever! My son bought a Mazda and I cosigned. 44 days after purchase the engine blew up. After much arguing the owner agreed to help pay for a rebuilt one after we paid $2000. Then it turned out we have to pay $2500. It was taken next door to the x whatever place. Within a few months of having it back it started to do the same thing. Many repairs later, including the supposedly new engine approximately $5000 plus a 2 hour tow bill. Car only cost $5500 , he put $2000 down but wasn't told til signing theres a fee of $1899 for their financing company, we had to trade it in before it blew up again. Got $1000 for a trade in. DON'T EVER BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!!

Dealer response

Two months ago her and son left a two 1 star review on our google page, this is plain and simple her son is racing. I will leave it up to you (the reader) to decide. How it really happened? Sold them the car twooooo years ago a Mazda Speed3..They called after 2 months later (busted engine) threatening, yelling and intimidating to call the Attorney General, the BBB and also they had friends in the media to make our lives a living xxxx (Exact words). We told them since you are threatening we can't help you. They called back with a nicer peaceful demeanor where we helped like we always do. As you see in her comments she got a SECOND engine for $5000, we got them the FIRST engine with labor and taxes for $2500 with a SIX MONTH WARRANTY on the engine. (we have a paper signed by them stating that, people tend to forget what you did for them). Her son destroys the original engine and now the engine we helped them put on and the third engine where she paid the $5000 and not only that but sold the car before he busted that engine also. (from her own review) That is three engines he busted going on the fourth. Dear Shopper, you can decide for yourself. At the end we are the bad guys for helping her. Since Friday she has been harassing us with reviews.
