Kia Optima 2019
I just bought a 2019 Kia Optima on black friday and I'm truly escatic! I heard about Twins Auto Mall from a friend, but I had to see for myself. Justin is AMAZING and is definitely not typical car salesman. Meaning he's not pushy or overbearing. He listens to YOU the customer and then he delivers. Edgar in finance department is also a gem. He knows his numbers for real. Go check them out, grab a cup of their great coffee. You won't be disappointed!!

Serpent in the Garden- Don't Trust
Bought a car from them July 2020 and relied on their statements: "We have a mechanic that inspects the car" "Its mechanically perfect". Of course I know used cars aren't' perfect but , hey, they are in the business and I am not. They hammer you with slick stories of how they stand buy cars and will take care of you if there's a problem. Don't believe it. They play roulette with you-- some of their cars are fine and others are disasters. With us, the engine was in terrible shape, needed to be completely rebuilt or replaced. We notified them within one week and they said "we will help you, let us see what we can do and will call you back" . Of course they never called back. Upon finally get hold of Henry, he said "sorry, tough luck, you should have known better". I don't believe the good Google reviews, I suspect many of them are fake. We plan to report them to Google, the consumer fraud division of Illinois, the BBB, local chamber of commerce, as well as our local State's Attorney office, and the TV stations.

After purchasing my truck on 05/01/19 I returned the next day with concerns 05/02/19. Jay and Edgar drove it with me Jay said " I do not feel or hear anything, bring it here we will take care of you, and do not let anyone else fix it". I got a used car inspection. (I know a little late after purchase and I own that) Engine leaking, rear air shocks leaking, service suspension light on, two wires burnt out by compressor. and impact sensor to air bag, They put rear license plate lights in. They supposed to fix problems yet would not document what they said they did. If it is not documented it never happened! The GMC dealer called about issued as well as the financing office again no one can tell me what they done to my truck. They were very angry that I called others called on my behalf. Jay said"you think a 08 truck not go have issues"? Yes it will not be showroom perfect but these things should be addressed! Again I do not know what was done and I'm out of more money. I feel as if they should have wanted to clear their name and prove what work was done. Light still on, same pull form rear when you take off as before I took it to them on 05/10/19 . In the beginning things were going good as I did a initial review based on the experiences at that time, and now things are different.

bad service
Called about a truck they said they had it. I Showed up the next day at 10 when they opened no one showed up till 10:20 then the didn’t have the truck couldn’t find it. Then the guy goes oh we sent it to auction sorry

ok so I take back my last review. I bought my car and it had some problems. I originally jumped the gun on making a bad review. I seen so many bad reviews about them not wanting to help fix problems with cars. but after talking with them they meet me over half way on the cost to fix my exhaust manifolds and catalytic converters. im more than happy now and they made it right. I would recommend them but also please take the cars to a mechanic to make sure everything is what its suppose to be. thanks twins for making this a good experience. Thomas Austin

Bad cars. They sell defective autos
Ok so i bought a 2006 cadillac xxx. Right off the bat i knew the wheel bearing was bad. So i asked then to fix it and they said the did. So i get my loan and go and pick the car up and start driving it and they sure didnt fix anything. Also all four brake pads and rotors are shot aslo. Then as in driving down the road. The check engine light comes on and turns out. Both catalytic converts are shot. All in all its going to cost me almost 3 thousand. I bought it july 16th 2018. It only been a week and a half and its pretty much costing me half of what i paid for it. So if i were you i wouldnt buy a car from them. Cause you are gunna pay to fix it before you can even drive it and make sure its safe for the road. Bad business. Im reporting them to the better business bureau for selling faulty cars.

Very happy with the service
My wife and I are very happy with the service we received. From the first time I called about the Chevy Colorado we bought. We live 3 hrs away and AJ was great to work with and didn't hide anything from us. If you live in the Rockford area and are looking for a car, look them up.

Will not stand behind vehicles they sell
I purchased a 2013 Ford F150 Platinum from them with 98.5k miles on it. Henry was very helpful and friendly with the vehicle purchasing process. However, due to some hail damage that occured I wasn’t able to pick up the vehicle when I originally planned to and the communication during that fix was less than it should’ve been. This caused me to be in a time crunch when I picked it up and felt very pressured. However, the real issue occurred after I had bought the truck. I took it on a trip to Canada and on the way back, two weeks after I got it, a turbo underboost warning indicator came on. Then when I was taking it to the dealership, the timing chain broke. So now I need to put a new engine in the truck which will cost me 7 to 8k. This all occurred within 3 weeks of me purchasing the vehicle and Twins has not been willing to stand behind the vehicle that they sold. They said that I could haul it 3 hours back to their shop to get a second opinion and labor covered, but I am still responsible for around $6000. In conclusion, they are friendly but it is all “AS IS” sales and they won’t stand behind the vehicles if something catastrophic happens so I would avoid purchasing any vehicles from them. There are plenty of places that will stand behind the vehicles that they sell that everyone should go through instead until they change the way that they do business.
