Long distance customer
This is our fourth van lease from Hall's. We live in Gaylord, but drive back to Fenton to get our vans. Doug is an exceptional sales person. He gets us just the right one. Answers all the questions we might have. Very happy with our choice of van and dealership.

Had an excellent experience dealing with John Pitoniak on a new Ram pickup. John worked harder than any other dealing I was shopping at to get me a great deal. Worked out a deal via text and a couple quick phone calls. No games. The price we agreed to was the price I paid once I got to the dealer. Drove an hour and it was worth it. Thanks John. I would like to add I have had vehicles serviced at Hall Chrysler and there service was outstanding.

Over a barrell
I had purchased my last 2 cars fro Hall Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge so when I was traveling north on US-23 for a weekend get away and started having car trouble, I had AAA tow me to this dealership. I was stranded, they couldn't even look at my car until Monday. I was offered a rental car but that wouldn't have solved my problem. I ended up having to buy another vehicle. I was "told" my car had a "deep knocking" and that the engine was shot and my only options were to haul it away myself or trade it in for a mere $500.00 and they would take it to auction. I had recently replaced tires, stabilizer bars, deluxe windshield wipers and had repairs totaling well over $1500.00 yet my car was only worth $500.00 with no concrete evaluation and diagnosis?!? Not sure I believe it but I felt I had no choice. I was also told that by buying a Certified Pre-owned Car that "came with" a 100,000 mile warranty only to find out at the deal signing that this is something I had to pay over $2,500.00 to have. I just feel I wasn't given a fair trade/assessment for my car and was taken advantage of in my desperate situation.

Kim, I am sorry for the miscommunication on this. Originally we were not going to be able to get your car into service for a day or so. Knowing that you were in a bind, I asked my service manager to personally go out and evaluate your car. He did go out and start you car and listen to the engine. He told me that it was a deep loud internal knock. He said it would definitely either need an engine or significant engine repair. The estimate would be in the thousands. he wouldn't have an exact estimate until they pulled it in and got into it further. I know that must be very disappointing after putting that money into it recently. However, new windshield wipers, stabilizer bars won't add much value to a car with over 100,000 miles and a bad engine. I am sorry if that was not explained to you while you were here. As far as the warranty is concerned, it is a Chrysler Certified vehicle and it does the balance of the 7 year/100,000 mile powertrain. It is free to you and comes with the vehicle. The $2500 is only if you want to expand the coverage beyond the powertrain to full coverage on the entire vehicle. Again, I am sorry if this was not explained clearly. So the good news is that you do have the 100,000 mile powertrain coverage. Your business is very important to us and we greatly appreciate your continued support.
