Great communication, worked out almost everything

Great communication, worked out almost everything completely remote which was the most important. I knew it was the right vehicle, the right price and just needed to be sure the budget worked with financing. Came in and took a test drive to make sure it was perfect and when we got back the finance manager had all the options ready for me.

BUYER BEWARE!

BUYER BEWARE!… should be their motto. Bought a car from Autoproved for my son after an unfortunate accident totaled his. Two days later the check engine light came on. I immediately called them to report the issue. I had it diagnosed and was told it needed a new engine. Autoproved refused to work with me on any reasonable remedy, only repeating that I bought it “As-IS.” Prior to me purchasing, they touted the multiple “Rigorous” inspections that cars go through before selling. Apparently not rigorous enough to identify a cracked engine. I am totally disappointed in their lack of willingness to work with me to make things right. They only seemed to care about getting their money and moving on. I should’ve listened to the terrible Yelp ratings, and numerous online complaints from other customers. Please do your research before working with them and do not expect ANY support if something goes wrong. You will find similar themes in other reviews with this dealership if you do your research.

They will lie about the price, and try to distract you

They will lie about the price, and try to distract you while you read the contract (which will be changed from what was agreed upon). They say they will detail the car but it didn’t even look like they did even the most basic of cleaning. A very shady dealer, go somewhere else. They will add things to the contract and talk over you and speed through the paperwork, trying to confuse you into making a mistake.

James, we are sorry to hear you experienced a different buying opportunity from us then almost all of our customers. Throughout all purchases we have safeguards in place to prevent statements from your review. Prior to purchasing we review a worksheet with figures, including an exact interest rate you are approved for with exact payments unlike many traditional dealerships that quote an average. We also have utilized a LAW finance contract which requires a signature stating you had an opportunity to review the figures and agree with them, if we added things wouldn't the payment be more than you agreed too?? With over 2,500 positive reviews it is difficult to understand that your purchase our team decided to distract you, lie about the price, add additional costs and have you leave with a dirty vehicle. If you would like to come in so we can explain any figures to you, we would welcome that and also give us the chance to detail your vehicle again at no cost!

Do NOT buy a car from here.

Do NOT buy a car from here. They will sell you a car with historical faults (they clear check engine lights) they claim work was done to the car that I can prove was not done. I’ve heard horror stories from friends who have bought cars here over the years and even worse stories from former employees. Go anywhere else. Do not put your hard earned money into one of these clunkers!

Kimber, we are sorry to see your review based on rumors heard. All of our vehicles go through a rigorous 118 multi point inspection, PA state inspection and emissions inspection which is all documented with Carfax (We would lose partnership with false repairs). Many are unaware that clearing a check engine light will not allow an emissions machine to print a valid sticker until the vehicle is driven a set amount of miles to insure the issue is repaired. It would be difficult to earn a 4.7 score with Google and over 2,000 positive reviews with claims your review stated. We would love to give any future customer the ability to take their potential new vehicle to a 3rd party mechanic or dealership to back up the quality of our vehicles prior to purchasing!

Very disappointed.

Very disappointed. I found a car on Cars.com and called their office. I spoke to Colleen and I asked for the out the door price and fees they charge. She refused to give me any numbers over the phone. She said everything has to be done in person. I explained to her that I was an out of state buyer and needed the out the door price and any fees they charge before I booked a flight. She again REFUSED to give me any numbers over the phone. Why would I book a flight BEFORE I know the total price of the car??? They have very good reviews so I don't know why I was treated this way.....they just lost a sale.

Please steer clear

The worst experience I’ve had searching for a vehicle. The staff was abrasive and the pricing changed after we got there from the original listing. If we wanted to pay cash the price went up another $1000. My assumption is that his dealership preys on people with poor credit. Did not get a good vibe from this place at all.

Unfortunately we disagree with your review, at the initial conversation with your sales professional they asked where you saw the vehicle you inquired about. The immediate follow up questions was if you had any questions about the listing. All of our pricing, discounts and disclaimers are disclosed on all listings, you missed the part where you did not qualify for all incentives. Like many, if not all dealerships, the best price is advertised. You assumption on preying on poor credit is dismissed by your prior comment stating we help customers financing vehicles by supplying a discount, how is that predatory? Good luck in your search and hope you find what you are looking for within your budget.
