Rick Schur was my fantastically personable salesman. Not only did he sell me 2003 Buick Century back in 2016 but the car is still running although it’s in need of some repairs now, in 2023. And to take the cake Rick and his assistant, drove the car to me out here in St. Charles, Mo. from Troy, IL, during a snowstorm. So of course I’ve come back to see if I can purchase from Steve Schmitt and Rick again. Great guys and as Rick says, God is good.

My senior citizen mother purchased a vehicle from them. Two days later, warning lights came on for the sensor on the tires, as well as the transmission. We took it to get a diagnostic scan at a local auto parts store. Turns out, the transmission fluid was empty, there was a warning related to a emissions leak, and the tire sensor issue. We filled the transmission fluid to get it working, but the light was still on. Took it back to "rick," who tried to tell my mother the scanner at the place we went to was wrong and his scanner showed nothing. He did take the car to his mechanic who replaced the tire light, but found nothing wrong with the transmission. We then took the car to our mechanic, who sure enough, used his diagnostic scanner and found there was a large issue with the transmission. Would cost a few thousand to repair. Somehow, the mechanic at rick's missed this. Weird right? To his credit, Rick paid the repairs on the transmission as outlined in our contract, but not the leak in the emissions. Cost my mother almost 300.00. She asked if he would buy it back, he refused. My mom has since gone to a reputable dealership and found out she was completely price gouged by this dealership for this car. Thankfully, she traded in the car from rick for one with significantly less mileage and no issues. Don't go here.
