Niro EV

Ray the Sales Manager was fantastic. We knew what we wanted and he had no problem matching us to the car of our dreams. He had the car ready for us when we came in; gave us what we wanted on our trade-in and threw in a 240v charger.

WORST KIA SERVICE CENTER EVER!!!!

I took a 2014 kia soul there for a warranty issue, the engine shakes really bad when the car is idleing and in gear with your foot on the brake pedal, when you take your foot off of the brake pedal the engine rpm rises about 100 rpm and the engine smooths out. Kia's service center even showed me this, they know that there is a problem but B/S me for over a year until the car was out of warranty and then told me that the car was out of warranty and that they were cleaning the case and that it was not going to be looked at anymore. The service manager did nothing but make up lies on why the car shakes and kia backs up all of his B/S. This place is so bad that after one of the services I had to go back to the service center to have them put on a part in the engine compartment that they forgot off. Kia's customers service is just as bad or worse then their maintenance service center all that they do for you is NOTHING. KIA HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST CAR MANUFACTURER EVER. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM KIA

Great place to buy a car!

I was looking for the new all electric Niro EV and visited several dealerships. All were anxious to show me what they had. At Stevens Creek, Ali and the others were very helpful. He in particular was the most knowledgeable of the people I met with. I had lots of questions about the car, chargers, etc. and he patiently answered each one. I bought the car and was very pleased with the business people as well.

Truly helpful salespeople!

Knowledgeable, easy to understand and engaging. No impatience and no pressure. Ray and Hassan both listened well and helped my clarify what I wanted. When I figured it out, Ray actually walked up and down the entire lot looking for exactly the right car. He found it and I'm happy. Good guys!

Deceptive and Pressured New Car Buying Experience

My spouse and I had previously test driven and decided we wanted to buy a Kia Niro PHEV. We showed up to Kia Stevens Creek to see if they could give us the best pricing on the vehicle and our trade in. There were several red flags about this dealership and their customer service that not only left my spouse shaken by her first new car buying experience, but about which we felt we had to caution other potential customers. First, as we later learned at a different Kia dealer where we eventually did make our purchase (and where we had a genuinely friendly and helpful salesperson), we had been repeatedly misled about pricing. For example, it's known on Kia's website that certain exterior colors cost from $295-$395 more. However, the salesman at Stevens Creek told us that the color we wanted was one of those that incurred extra cost (it's not, according to the Kia website), and that it would cost us $1000 more (it does not, according to the Kia website). This reflected a series of deceptive behaviors on the part of the sales floor in which prices were repeatedly verbally marked up beyond what is listed on Kia's website. If you go to buy a car, make sure to do all of your homework on MSRP and on the prices of all options beforehand! Second, the moment we arrived, they insisted that they needed our names, emails, address, and phone numbers before they could tell us a price. Because we get so many unsolicited robocalls and spam emails, we politely indicated that we'd be happy to provide this information once we had a price and knew that they were the dealer (compared to the other local dealers) with the most competitive pricing. Shockingly, the response was "Well then, it sounds like you're not ready to buy a car." I held my tongue, but felt like replying that apparently they were not ready to sell a car. The entire experience felt like them trying to pry information from us, just to be willing to give us a price on a vehicle. Certainly, when one is preparing to spend a large amount of money to buy a car, it makes sense to make sure you're getting the best price you can. Needless to say, we went to another Kia dealer (not far away), where the buying experience was just the opposite - incredibly pleasant, professional, and non-deceptive. There's a reason that a different Kia dealer got our business and that Kia Stevens Creek did not.

Excellent Vehicle and Customer Service

I have had my car serviced only at the Stevens Creek KIA dealership since we bought it in October 2017. The service department is excellent compared to others I’ve dealt with in the past. Every time I call for an appointment, they’re able to get me in within a number of days, and always at a convenient time. When I take the car in, the service advisor, Daniel Garcia, always takes his time to listen to any questions I may have. The estimated time for completion is usually longer than the service actually takes. I appreciate them being fair about the anticipated length of time, but they’ve never come close to taking as long as they estimate. Their waiting area has WiFi, so I usually just hang there while my car is quickly serviced. Their checkout process is always quick as well!
